@seraphicdolls That is a photo of doll heaven right there. In all honesty though, despite the 'imbalance' of gender, the group dynamic looks great in that photo. The girls are beautiful and the one handsome guy stands out among the group.

 

Thank you so much! It does make him special, and he is my first Volks doll so I don't think he feels too slighted!! Maybe he is happy to be fawned over by three girls, LOL! I do love the Volks boys so much. I especially love when they do boy sculpts as girls and girl sculpts as boys - it just shows how versatile they are.

I just got what I think might be the last of the SDGr boy hands I didn't already have and the two little Oath of the Silver Coin booklets. After all of the highly overwrought Williams/Cecile breakup angst there is a little chart with some mystery slots.

Captain Cecile's cook? and navigator? How many men does it take for Cecile to fill the Williams-shaped hole in his black, black heart? And clearly Williams is keeping his options open, since his laconic henchman has company and there's a vaguely recalled wife somewhere back at home? [???]

I got a notice that my Cecile was shipped a little while ago. I forgot about thanksgiving being a thing (oops) and was hoping he'd get delivered on Thursday so I could pick him up on Friday (I live in a kind of rural area and USPS won't deliver items too big to fit in our post locker to our door), so here's to hoping I can pick him up on Saturday instead! There's a growing pile of stuff for him that's been sitting on my dresser and I'm excited to get to put it to use.

I wanna reshoot this with more dynamic poses, but it's been raining and is kinda scary to do so without a spotter.

 

I changed the outfit of my SD10 Williams, Chester, the other day, and I'm in love with him. He's so different out of the default wig and outfit! I can't wait to see how everyone styles their SD10 Williamses and Ceciles!

Chester is so cute Constance! The wig and outfit suit him really well. He's making me excited for mine and somehow seeing one outside of the default outfit/look makes me like him even more, I really do see he looks like a Williams now. I don't have a shipping notice for mine yet but I'm in Canada so they may be shipping out the international ones later sadly, hopefully soon though!

Has anyone not received their shipping notification for SD Williams & Cecil yet?

 

Cecile's delivery was "attempted" today so I can go pick him up from the post office on Friday! Tracking didn't update for two days straight so I didn't think I'd see him until Monday or Tuesday.

I wanted to share a photo of my FCS F-57 SDGr boy with vivid makeup. It's the first time I've ordered through their FCS and handled a large Volks doll. I'm getting used to the kips they installed on him but he is gorgeous and so far living up to my expectations. Though we have a struggle with the wig but that's okay! His name is Kuja because I am obsessed with that character from the Final Fantasy franchise and had to make one who could dress up and look down upon all my elf dolls.

it's good to see boys arriving now. it seems to me that Oct FCS will be home in Jan rather than late Dec when Volks predicted. I'm getting excited already.

Hello guys!! I have really specific question... Does anyone maybe has SD17 Cecile AND Kaelin/Lucas/Theodore/Ernest/Chris at the same time? Or SD10 Williams instead of Cecile? I wanted to see how their head sizes look together, I'm wondering if they're all similar? Would it look okay to put SD17 Cecile/SD10 Williams on SDGR boy body?

 

I have SD10 Williams and Lucas, Theodore, and Ernest. I can take some pictures for you this weekend.

Love seeing everyone’s Williams here...I really wish I had been around for these two being available because a big head and the SD body are just my favorite aesthetics

 

Had a bit of time just now, so I took pictures of Ernest and SD10 Williams. My Lucas and Theodore are currently in their boxes, and I was too lazy to get them out. I can say, though, that Theodore is about the same size as Ernest, and Lucas is the same sculpt as Theodore (unless you have an oldskin Lucas, in which case oldskin Lucas is way bigger than Theodore).

Anyway, on to the pictures.

First, head size comparison between Ernest and SD10 Williams. SD10 Williams has a really big head, so they look pretty normal next to each other.


However, SD10 Williams has a smaller neck hole than Ernest.

In the following photos, I have Ernest on his SDGr 13 Revival body, and SD10 Williams on the normal SDGr body, which should have the same size neck as the revival body. You can see that Williams' head kind of sits atop the neck instead of fitting onto it.

All in all, I personally don't like the look of SD10 Williams' head on the SDGr body, but depending on your styling and personal preferences, I think you can get away with it.

Thank you so much! He was part of the August FCS so he arrived this month which was true to what they said I think. I love his blue eye shadow (even if Kuja had red, real peacocks wear blue) and he's just gorgeous to look at. He's waiting on a few other outfits and a different type of wig - we'll see how they look whenever they arrive!

Thank you so much! I want to get a similar wig in red so he can pretend to be in trance but I am not sure how to recreate the fur/feather/tattered clothing...he might just have to wear more clothing than he's used to! (Already is but he has some racier outfits on the way.) He also has one of the Volks purple stand chairs and he is quite happy sitting in it.

 

I really like the SD body and I’ve seen a couple for sale...but I worry neck holes will be too big on other sculpts to fit this much smaller sized body?

 

Oh wow, this is ALL I needed, thank you so much!! Amazing!! His head is big indeed... At the same time, what a shame, he really sits so weird on the neck... And of course modding could be an option but modding Williams/SDGR body - such a waste :') with the wig it doesn't look that bad but my Kaelin would look dumb with him TT

@Artemos I have Kohya/Tohya on SD13 girl bodies and their head holes are too big for them. They're okay for me but they don't have as much moveability like my other dolls. And with certain angles it could be a liiittle visible!
