I don't know if they do it all in one day? Good question. But normally by now more people are posting as winners. I'm super interested in the winners of Beth. I was torn on who to enter for. I decided to commit to just Jo and put all my good lottery vibes into one basket. Thankfully it paid off. Although I think Beth is very very special and I really want to see photos of her. Hoping a bunch of people here get her.

 

I was wondering if anyone had advice on where to buy lolita type clothing for Volks dolls. I really want my Coco to have pretty clothing thats more lolita style...

I think my lottery selection didn't go through, even though I got the confirming email. I just checked my Orders at Volks (in the hope there was an issue with my "congratulations" email), and my entry wasn't listed! Stupid me, I should have checked earlier, but I've never had a problem before. Oh well, I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

 

I think when we don't win our entries are no longer visible to us when the results have been sent. Mine isn't, either.

Congrats to everyone! It seems like there were very few winners considering how long the lottery was open, so these must be extra-special wins!

 

Well, that makes me feel better, at least! I thought it would still show, since my most recent one-off entry (which I didn't win) is still there, just marked as canceled.

 

They also may have pulled the database lines from visibility until all wins have been either paid or released for a redraw. At least I'm still entered on the intl site.

I was too, @bajib , but I paid for her yesterday, and a rep mailed me to ask if I had any additional questions and if I wanted my items all shipped at once.

My hubby entered for me and got an email for Jo!! I'm so excited right now and I hope my Beth will come through international lottery too!

 

I didn't pay until Sat since I was so sure the email was a mistake, so maybe Monday I will get a message, too and begin to believe my good luck. Those pinches can get painful

Ok so totally random question to owners of Alice and Lorina. In some photos it looks like they have a hole in the mouth. Others it just seems to be dark paint and shadow adding depth. Are there any differences in the mouth shape between the two sculpts?

 

Would love to know as well. Originally, Alice was my grail, as I really wanted that sculpt in WS.. But I am SUPER happy to have Lorina.

It would be interesting to know if there are any sculpting differences though..

Answer to the mouth: they do have open mouth like for example: lieselotte and no they (Lorina and Alice) are identical head mold just different skin tone!

I'm very curious about the differences between Jo and Lorina though. Even though Volks say they are the same sculpt but many re-released head molds do tend to have minor differences in person!

 

Would anyone know how one can obtain Sato-only models? I've been looking at their FCS sculpts, and I think the one I love most is Sato-only Is there a shopping service that can get a Sato model for me?

I obviously can't get her right now, but I'm thinking later in the year? :3

I just woke up a little while ago to a message from my friend in Japan and she's gotten into the cruise and I can get my Williams!!! I'm so happy!!! She was going to go anyway but didn't want any of the dolls so agreed to get him for me! Now for the loooooong wait! I hope others are as lucky who entered to go or had friends or proxies going!

 

Congrats!!! I didn't receive any emails for Jo and cruise T_T I guess lady luck is not by my side.

 

I also haven't received any notice for the cruise. Unfortunate.

 

@meeve and @Cloudedmind I wonder if they are just notifying people in Japan right now? I've also wondered if they
even are going to have any US entries get to go, or if it will all be the LA event now? I still am waiting for details on that.
I did enter for the cruise myself too as a back up just in case, but have not heard anything about my own entry either...just my friends.

 

I know my entry on international said they were sending out the results on February 20th. I figured VolksUSA would be the same, but I guess not.

A few minutes ago, I received notification that I won Beth, I'm so overjoyed and in shock as I had already accepted the disappointment of not winning this time around. Volks USA mentioned that some emails may have not reached the winners.

Nothing here either and I am not entering from the US at this time. I definitely had the same thoughts as you did about the cruise vs dolpa for the US applicants. I am guessing they may have given priority to their Japanese clients or perhaps the ratio of international applications were so low that none of us got in? Who knows? They did say they were just beginning to send out notifications and that it would be a week before the final invites were sent so...? *shrug*

More money for future FCS orders, then~ I am wishing everyone luck and hoping we are able to get some pictures!
