50–65cm Dolls Volks SDgrG Mana's Arrival

    1. I unfortunately lost the lottery for Mana but it is comforting to know that there will be those who sell their Volks winnings to those desperate enough to want one (me!).

      I prayed to deities and entities that Mana Sama would come my way and Scalper-san would not turn out to be Scammer-san. I built a small shrine and included things like pebbles from Tenshi no Sato (tbh its probably random pebbles that got stuck on my boot) and a tenshi that I won on the cruise for good luck. That is a framed photo of Mother SD at the bottom.

      The benefit of having a paranoid dog that barks at anything that moves, including his own reflection in the mirror is that I will never miss the mail man.

      Box looks and feels like its made of leather. It has the texture and look of it, very luxurious and different from my other Volks doll boxes

      Mana looks beautiful on the box, Ive already am planning on making a coffin for her to sleep in, and that gives me an idea to use those fabrics with 3D roses on it as a lining :)

      The manual and the invitation to meet Mana! Surprisingly no paper to order extra hand parts, but I guess because shes limited to 31, people are expected to keep her as her beautiful self as is.
      Im contemplating going to Japan to meet Mana but Ill stand out like a sore thumb and I feel that Scalper-san probably has the right to attend and not me once I give them the invitation lol and they check the # of Mana.

      The clothes even have the Moi-même-Moitié tag on them, so very detailed! She has two sets of underwear. All that black though, I will have to invest in skin stockings to keep her safe and beautiful.[​IMG]

      Mana-Sama live and in person, sans wig.
      She has teeth and her headplate is in all black instead of the regular gold, with her own unique number etched on (each 31 winners has their own number, Im lucky that I got it from Scalper-san safely, but Im also extra lucky that the number is my favorite number too, its a sign that she was meant to come to me, and Ill choose to believe it. Going to keep Scalper-san safe and not mention the number though.

      I may not be knowledgable with J fashion or Mana-Sama, but I fell in love with everything about the doll. To me she's everything Ive wanted in a doll, all rolled into one.

    6. @Ara Sorry it looks a bit weird because it is reflective and its 1 am here lol but I took a photo and edited out the number. Sorry its a bad iphone photo >.<
      The head plate says "MANA-SAMAXX" with XX being the number. I expected the number to be written on the certificate, but its only on the headplate, not even the invite has it on

      Thank you so much for your kind words, I dont enjoy photography too much because I dont like what I usually get, but youtube tutorials and presetting suggestion helps me a lot lol! You, an amazing photographer saying that is very encouraging to me :aheartbea

      LMAO, the shrine... I got so many Malice Mizer and Moi Dix Mois albums and DVD's at the same time, so I could get familiar with the styling and artist
      Felt fitting I make one.. I almost framed Scalper-san's yahoo "grey person" blank picture and added it, but I was stressed that they might have ended up not true to their word and I forgot about it. Every time I buy a BJD from outside the source, I stress Im being sent a box of bricks lol.........!

      At first I wanted an Una and have her face-upped to look like the gothic style but Mana came out and she looked even better than I had hoped, she fit the character perfectly as if it was a Volks Dream FCS XD
      Im working on her coffin and setting up a vintage looking room now that I found a place that sells chalk paint, having her in person inspires me so much and Im glad to share my excitement with everyone here

    22. Ah so pretty, the face sculpt and faceup really does look like Mana-sama so I think this doll represents him very well! The dolls seems to have a female body though, I wonder if that's because the clothes look better that way than they would on Volks male bodies of the same size? Or maybe Volks didn't know that Mana-sama is a man? xD Aha jk with that attention to detail on the clothes they certainly knew him well enough!

    23. I'm not usually one to fall for Volks dolls, but she's beautiful, I'm glad you were able to get her, I know scalpers can be a taboo thing, but even if this was through a "scalper" the fact that you're so happy with her is all that really matters in the end

      However, I think it's a shame that they made a girl out of Mana-sama. Because he's a guy. :kitty2
