Volks Hometown Dolpa Nagoya 5: August 4th, 2013

Volks USA is offering the wig to their winners of Charlotte and Lieselotte; they send the winners e-mails with a link to order the wig on their website. It is restricted to winners only, though.

 

Yes, I got an email from VolksUSA with a link to buy extra wigs for Charlotte. I was pleasantly surprised by that!

 

Thanks for the info Gnossienne, beamlette and lizjayliz! I'm assuming it's the same wig? Always nice to have a back up.

 

allie-leanza, what have you decided to do? It is very cool that you won on a lottery, but certainly troubling if you spent the money in the meantime. I still see that my lottery order is active so I suppose they could still tell me I owe. Who knows?

Usually when I order a doll, the few months buzz by unnoticed and then I'm pleasantly surprised by a shipping notice.
This time is so different, it feels like I'm checking the forum boards here, looking at the photos of the dolls arriving and thinking about the doll everyday! It's insane.
I'm usually so patient but this release just has me so antsy for some reason.

 

My Roselie came home today, just need to wait for Volks to ship out her elder twin sister Corelie~!

the wait shouldn't be too long for me, since I adore Roselie more than Corelie. ;p but it is still a long 2 and a half months to go...

 

I lost out on both the USA and International Lotteries, so I used the FromJapan shopping service to snag my girl. For everyone waiting, you will not be disappointed, she is so beautiful and her outfit is constructed of very fine materials and crocheted lace! Many congrats to everyone who won this time around

 

Oh my goodness!! The photos posted here are gorgeous! Such beautiful details on these girls. I cannot wait to welcome my Elaina home!

WOAH!! I got it as well. I was just thinking that the wait until december was going to absolutely kill me, so this is a fantastic surprise! I bet they got them in early!

I received my shipping notice from VolksUSA also, what a big surprise! I wasn't expecting my Lieselotte until December!

 

So happy to hear the dolls are shipping early. I had extra services done, so will have to wait only another month (I hope).

 

Oh dear. O.O The probably means the dealers will get their dolls soon too!
For anyone who got them with WLD before, how long after VolksUSA do they get their dolls? I need to update my addresses for my Charlotte to ship. ><'

 

The dolls have to go to WLD, then WLD sends them out. Usually 1-2 weeks is normal.

 

I am not too surprised the dolls are here early, as I was looking at the VolksUSA site the other day and noticed the limited items from this Dolpa were going up for sale in less than two weeks, and they usually sell very close to the time the dolls come in. Congratulations everyone on the shorter wait!

I got my own girl from the international lottery, and can confirm that they're really lovely, with very nice default faceups. Here's a pic of my Lieselotte~

My Lieselotte arrived today, her name is Sonya! I hope to have some time soon to spend with her and share some photos!

 

Paid off my Charlotte from WLD I think she'll be in by the end of this coming week! So excited!

 

I have been saving this Cadenza outfit for the right doll and with one look at Sonya, I knew it was perfect for her debut.

Did anyone else try for outfits at the VolksUSA release today? I just managed to complete my order for the Lady Archer, Thief, & Wizard sets, and my nerves are still going crazy! Hahaha, I always get a little worked up when I'm trying to nab limited items.
