I was thinking of plunking it on my Maki too and he was like >.> if it's not a suit, I don't want it But in any case, I'm sure someone here will love that outfit hehe!

My Masamune, Caelius (version 2 lol), wore it for 5 minutes after I got him in it and I changed him, but for a leather loving rocker. . .not quite the right outfit

My Maki literally wears anything I put on him, but uh... kimono? That's very outdated! <-- so he says. XD

Daww come on Maki, kimono is making a comeback!! Very fashion forward You'll be ahead of the time! Besides kimono are timeless and classic and only someone sexy like you can pull it off XD (and the hakama pants are to die for ^////^) -yup desperate to see your adorable Maki make the outfit even sexier-

 

My dolls rarely wear their default outfits. I usually give those outfits to other dolls to wear. Because it's more fun. Volks already posted photos of them in default outfits I'll just look at those XD

so so true! I tend to avoid default looks (except my Maki because his default suit works so well for him in my case . . .and I just love a good suit ) Plus your boys (and girls) are amazing in the new styles you give them ^__^ I think it's great to see lots of new looks for the dolls which is why especially with Volks, it helps to try to imagine them with different styles since they are so versatile ^^

 

Yeah-- this fetish-queen here is just itching to get out of all these baggy layers of old-fashioned clothes, too. But, y'know, *I* pay the clothing bills around here, and *I* want to look at the pretty hakama set for awhile, dammit! He can just put up with it for awhile!

(... THEN it can go back into the box. ^^)

The default outfits are really for show only... the box openings. D: Sometimes I still let them wear bits and pieces of the outfits, but not the "whole set"... >.> Unless, of course, they are needed to make a photostory of some kind. (_ _)

Aquaspiral : When my Maki gets his own body (it will arrive at the same time as the Date outfit, I guess), I'll take photos of him... XD in that sexy hakama, for you. I love showing off that SDGr boy tummy.

 

Well, when you wear kimono you do need at least one inner belt to hold things together. The obi itself doesn't actually hold the outfit on so much as the inner belt(s).

Yup, those are the shoes. I do find Volks SD17 shoes big, but most other companies make them bigger (LUTS randomly makes some SSDF shoes that are HUUUUGE, even on big ole SSDF feet), and now I have a pair of Freedom Teller oxfords that are noticeably narrower and make one boy in the row look like he has smaller feet than the others . If all Volks shoes are on the bigger side, then they might fit in better.

I don't tend to put default outfits on more than once. I like to separate them from their fullset persona, I guess .

 

Ahh, OK - I just used the ties on the hakama pants to keep the kimono wrapped inside the pants. But I see where it'd slide around everywhere without an inner belt, if you weren't a doll. The brown belt looked too ornamental to hide completely underneath everything, so that was where I got stonewalled.

Maybe because Freedom Teller is used to making stuff for those skinny Iplehouse guys, who have dainty little feet? ^^ Volks likes to make gunboats. I honestly couldn't guess about these cute little snub-toed brown brogues here... I wish they'd've shown them on a model! It says they'll fit 13 through 17, so my guess was that they're about the same size foot-bed as most of their LE shoes.

 

My Date will probably stay in his hakama until I can find him his frou frou outfit.

 

Thank you very much! I gave Date's outfit to Hahwa LOL. Well, I do not have Date to start with so even if I want to put him in his outfit I cannot XD

Me too, my Volks are not often with the default outfits ! I prefer change and give my own style to have really my personal doll !

I couldnt find the lottery poll for kobe dolpa. Was lorina very limited in quantity? Just want to know how many people won and lost on lorina. By the way, love wesli's lorina! She's gorgeous!
