Volks Home Town Dolpa Kobe - July 31, 2011

Lorina was sold out in a split second. I managed to have her in cart but she was gone. ;___;

 

Date is still there though. Akira and Lorina are not!!! I went and had a look about a minute in and they were both gone

 

Oh god... It was just half minute and Lorina was gone

 

Did anyone here manage to get Lorina just now?

 

Hmm it was sold out by the time I saw it =/

 

She went so fast I didn't even see her for sale even though I was on before and at 10:00 @.@!!

 

Maybe its just one set that volks left there to tease us lol. Theres still date though

 

I think I blinked twice and that was it...so wrong.

 

LOL man! This is crazy.
I was able to press the add into cart button but after loading for 20 seconds it's not shown in the cart and told me that Lorina was sold out.
I was so shocked and nearly put a Date into cart to make twins of my Date currently at home.
Volks must have made some evil plans to make me go insane.
Okay, now I'm looking forward to next SDGr new girl release. There must be another one!

 

This is how it always is with click wars. You have hundreds, probably thousands of people trying at the same time for a handful of items. Even back when they released all the dolls as a first come, first serve, they would sell out super fast. This also happens a lot with the sumika items at VolksUSA. I am not too upset about it (or maybe I am just used to it lol). I win some, I lose some. ^_^

 

I was surprised! Volks should sale to people who joined lottery but didn't won first. Anyway, I checked Lorina sold out at website now.

 

DARN IT I DIDN'T GET AKIRA... I'm so pissed... ;A;

I am failed to place order for my Date...

The Volks website keeps showing "I am sorry, it cannot deal with a visitor's credit card very much now.[CODE:1G121FOR]" every time I click the order button...
I am so frustrating...

 

I think your cc can't be charged. If you have any other cc or a Paypal account that connects to your cc, it would be better?

 

I have tried 2 credit cards and even Paypal...but still failed..

My credit card company even contacted me and said the payment was cancelled by Volks..

I have to say that I LOVE the lottery system compared to the old click war nightmares. Even though I've never thought the Japanese have a very good grasp of the concept of "lottery" or "bingo" it is still less depressing than it used to be. It's truly a great deal less frustrating. But then, so many aspects of overseas consumption are easier now...

 

Your billing information for your account must be exactly the same as your credit card billing information, which includes your name, billing address etc

I have placed order successfully before. (Last time was the payment for Lorina)
Just don't know what happened this time.

 

I actually stopped caring about Lorina. This doll is pretty, but the chances to get her are probably almost zero. I'll invest the money to a trip to Japan to see Dir en grey a few more times.
There are so many other pretty dolls and I just want to say congrats to those who were lucky enough to get Lorina.

The Japanese / international lottery seems worst than the US one.

Yesterday , I went to Kobe Sumika and there were some outfits left and DDS, I was happy to get it for a nice person, so finally got what I was coming for.

But remember Lorina is not that expensive on Yahoo, so sure you will be able to get her.
I saw her and Alice on the display, they are really cute and the Gr body is beautiful.

If you won from the Volks Japan International site, it says early September.
If you won from Volks USA, we're supposed to expect them in November.

That aside, it's a little naughty of me to post the photo here, but I feel it is necessary for those who are on the fence to see the doll out of the default. Those Volks promo photos (and that wig hanging in his face ) really didn't show how beautiful this doll is.

Volks Japan Infor Shipment "Lorina" on 10 Sep :-)

 

So I wonder, did international winners get the extra chance to get two of Lorina's wig?

I just got an e-mail from Volks telling me that I have potential to buy two more of Lorina's wig. No lottery so it's confirmed in whatever you buy. I think it's pretty cool, as Lorina's wig looks like it would be so hard to keep up!

I passed the information to my friends to see if she wants the extra Lorina one. I'd buy one myself.. But for $77, I don't think I need another wig rotting away in my box!
