Has anyone seen any more fullsets of SDGr Lorina on YJA? I can't find any and I finally have the means to bid on one... If anyone could help me out that would be so appreciated!!!!

Getting things aftermarket is always more expensive. But the point is, there are options.

 

There are a few fullset SDGr Lorina on Ruten but the price is much higher after the converting.

 

I won a cute little Piccolo! He will be my first YOSD

 

Piccolo was actually the first doll to sell out at the Dolpa, so I'm not surprised to see few winners in the lotteries. They probably didn't make very many since he's a re-release.
I entered for Date for a friend, thinking that at least I could play with him once on a while and that would be good enough. When it turned out that we'd both won him though, I did not hesitate for a minute to slap down that deposit! :3 He's so cute and I love the graffiti body! He'll probably end up being my girlfriend's doll, but whatever, he'll be in the house!!

 

There is on on our Ebay Weslie, she is market up to $2K something like that. I am not sure it that is better than what YJ would be. Best of Luck!!

Careful Amoraseth Yos are addicting. I started just getting "one" but now I have 3 and one on the way. Dangerous♥

 

The one on eBay going for US$2080 was sold by yesterday. US$2080 came to about SG$2500 while 115,500 yen works out to be close to SG$1900. all prices before shipping and Goods and Services Tax imposed by Singapore customs

 

Tsukidoll- So I have heard I have been wanting a little guy for quite some time, but I have never been as drawn to one as I have to this particular Piccolo. I think it is the darm face-up (I am a sucker for those dark and sultry face-up). He was just too cute to pass up. Now I am most likely “doomed”

 

Unfortunately I fell in love with Lorina as a full set, so it would be
crazy to try to buy her in pieces. And I cannot imagine her on any
other body.....I've wanted a Volks girl for over two years now but
what stopped me was not liking the SD10/13 bodies.

 

I have only seen one Piccolo on YJ! and he was gone in a flash......

Hmm, I'm not an expert, I don't have SDGrB But I wonder why did you decide this is Date with SD17 body on these pictures? The doll's page of this owner said this is Date on SDGr body

Oh, I guess it just looked to me like he had more pectoral muscle than the Graffiti, but in comparing our SD17 and our Gr, it does seem like it could just be the angle of the light. I really hope his head isn't as small as Ryoya's. O__o

 

I won a Piccolo through KL...he's so cute and I can't wait to get him in November.

How small is Ryoya's head?

 

Too small for me!! >__< It's not really the wig size, per se. It's that his face is very small and delicate so he looks like he's on a different scale than my bigger-eyed dolls.

That is not a bad option. I got my Toppi fullset that way-it took a while but she is complete now.

 

Those are photos of Date on his SDGrB body. ^^ Not SD17. The breast curve and length of shoulders are definite give-aways. Date has smaller neckhole than the other SDGr boys. So even on SDGrB body, he looks like a pin. XD

ALL SDGr boys have small heads. They were sculpted using the same measurements. ^^ Their faces are small... If you want, I can take photos of Ryoya with Kujoo. Kujoo has a huge head and huge face. XD

 

Why on earth would they give Date a smaller neck hole than usual?!

 

Beats me... XD Jace (rhapsodies) told me so. But she's putting hers on SD17 body anyway. XD I guess it all comes to preference? I can't even stand seeing my Ryoya on SD17 body!

My post was for US people, since so many look to YJ. It did not dawn on me to think about other countries, sorry That being said I was not watching Lorina, as I have my heart set on Alice but I am surprised she is gone so fast.
I did not realize how popular Lorina was going to be. I adored her as well. You never know who is gonna be that ultimate hit. I am also wishing for a Luna re-release which was also part of my hold out. I was hoping the dolly universe would give me Luna if I passed on Lorina LOL Im such a dork.

My friends and I placed lotteries for Lorina (my friends placed the lotteries for me). There were 17 of us and NONE of us won!!!
I honestly can't believe my luck!

It's sad but I've already purchased some outfits for her, a wig, eyes, and I know which face-up artist I want to send her to, I've even picked out a name! No matter how, I will get this girl, I have not lost hope yet!

 

Was everyone using the same IP address? If yes, there is a possibility volks void the entries. I knew of others who encountered the same situation. But those who entered just one won.

T-T seems I lost for lorina in the international AE too! I am zero for three now ^^; I wonder if this is a sign that I should give up? I don't have a computer right now so it's hard to stalk yahoo Japan >.<... I am still very much looking forward to seeing owner pics!

 

In the International AE page it says they'll be shipping Lorinas early September. Others could be shipped in August even!

I'm eagerly waiting to see what others do with their Lorinas. Myself I'm getting her repainted...

I saw 2 SDGr Lorina on sale right now in a Chinese forum. If anyone wants to, please ask and I'll give you the links. ^^ They're not on this forum though, so I can't link here. The price is around 140,000 Yen though...

I needed to find her and I've been going "window" shopping the past Month. Lots of
items in carts, but my only money is what I have to buy her with, so not as fun :-\
But happy news for me! Someone wants to buy one of my dolls I've had listed for
several months...so more Lorina money! Yay.

Also I have a question, does anyone know how often Volks has their lottery? Does it happen like one after the other or is it like couple months gap?

Riusa, Volks has them periodically every few months. I am sure someone will have more certain dates as they are usually rather consistant. It's usually enough time to /slightly/ recover.. haha

I want Date so bad and I just found a friend who won Date and would like to exchange him for my Lorina.
Of coz I have to pay for the balance but I am so happy now!!!

 

I got Lorina!!
Someone VERY kind on the forum offered to grab her for me from a foreign marketplace (a language which I can neither read nor speak). She's a little pricier, but I got her!!! I'm so excited!!

 

*whoosh!* And there goes all the Sumika items from the last Afterevent....!

Three strikes for me; missed all 3 of the items I was trying for. At 7:00.02 I had that boys' purple kimono set IN my virtual hands, and then the site hung up for a bit, and the item fell out of my cart before I could get it in. Alas! So it goes. Every time. ;; Boy, though, that was faster even than usual... by 7:02, not even the Yo-SD geta were left.
