Well, Sato events tend to be VIP members only.
And as far as I know, you need to have a Japanese address in order to be a VIP member.

So I'm afraid the after market is your only chance unless you have a friend in Japan who would be willing to go to the event for you.
Ah well, most of us here are in the same boat.

 

Oh! I love the wings on the new Tenshis! And I love their little outfits! My Tenshi girls need those dresses! *shakes fist* How in the world am I going to get just the dresses and wings? And maybe wigs too.....

Oh, I love the new wigs, especially the beautiful pink one!! Unfortunately, none of the new FCS heads appeal to me, but maybe once I see owner pictures I'll change my mind.

But oh!!! As soon as I saw Genji, I knew exactly who he was!!! I felt as though his hand had clutched my heart! He is truly the most gorgeous boy doll I have ever seen.

But I can't have him. There's no way I could afford his after-the-event price. Plus, knowing Genji's reputation, I wouldn't feel safe leaving him alone with the girls! They're far too young to be thinking of that sort of thing!

 

Phhhft, I don't care if I have to go to Y!J. As God as my witness, I will have a Genji..er....I will never be hungry again.

 

*pats you* I'm sure your girls would thank you for it! SD17's look very . . . manly compared to SD10's. I love Genji's sculpt too, though, and look forward to seeing more photos of him!

Yes, my girls are much too innocent and sweet to be left alone with him. I do want to get an older boy doll to be their guardian while I'm away, but Genji is much too... naughty to be trusted with that position. I may have to sit out this time, but I look forward to seeing more pictures too! I hope they release Princess Murasaki someday!

EDIT: I kinda like the F-39, but I would have to see it with a different faceup and in normal or sunlight skin before I'm actually sold by it.

 

I'm not keen on the SD17 boy yet, I need to see more pictures of his face. The new F-06 is quite cute, but I'm absolutely sold on the F-39 and F-40 heads! I must have them! I love F-39, she reminds me of Michele.

 

The F-39 head is just the current F-06 with some slight changes, I think.

EDIT: F-39 is the new girl head. F-06 is the same old head. Please ignore my error. ^^;

 

Wait, am I reading this wrong? Is the F-06 head the same as the old head? So... The girl in the white dress isn't F-39?

 

Blah, I just read the kanji. Girl = F-39. Sorry for the confusion.

 

Ahh it's alright! I was also confusing myself, thinking the F-06 was an entirely new head, but it did look like the old one with just slight changes. I can't read any Japanese so I just assumed that F-39 was the girl and F-40 was the guy.

I'm really digging those new wigs though, need to get my hands on some! I also need to get Kira somehow, someway!

 

The new tenshi is really cute!! I fall in love with Shizuku!! *__* Y!J probably be my best friend once they release the Tenshi. D: *cry*

 

I agree. The Sumika event and the Sato event are completely different things.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the dresses the tenshi are wearing don't actually come with them. {edit} Oh, the pages of my Volks News were stuck together. ^^ They will be selling angel robes for YoSD, SD, and SD13, but they are sold separately from the tenshi.

It will probably work like the clothing fairs. Volks will put up a page on the 13th with everything they're selling and everyone just has to hope they're at the page when sales open up. It's just like an after event - whomever clicks on something first gets it and stuff still goes really fast.

Does anyone have an idea of what time they'll start selling?

I'm so excited! I'm going to try for a Kira.

Does the pink dot in the wig color table mean that color is available only at Sato or that it is available only thru FCS?

 

Pink dots indicate renewal wig colors. They are not limited.

 

Then does it mean that the purple dots are limited colors? or are they old colors?

The MSD-24 looks like he would be a cute she... And I REALLY like the new welcome outfits that they're modelling.

Yes, that's a F-18 girl modeling those wigs and yes, the Sumika fair is when they release the new FCS.

 

The limited Omukae dresses are so lovely. I love both MSd options

 

I so wish I could get that Sd girl omukae dress!!It's so pretty!! I'm totally adding an F-40to my list of dolls I want...but as a boy or girl!?...boy I think, but the girl version is gorgeous too!!! I think I may have to add the MSD F23 too.She's a cutie

Finally the Swarikko Body! I'll still get F-34 either way, Sato or Sumika! The F-40 looks so good as a boy, but also so gorgeous as a girl! Such a versatile sculpt. I can't decide either, maybe I will eventually get 2 of them. Ahh I'm excited.

 

F34 is already being moved to Sumika!? That's fantastic! I'd really like to see more of them!

I'm sad that 2008 Kira's pureskin "origin" body won't be sold through FCS. I was really hoping it would be so I could skip on competing for Kira this weekend.

 

New heads for the VolksUSA FCS lineup and suwarikko legs? Hell yeah! Now, I'm just begging and praying for ebonyskin to be added to the lineup as well. A "special introductory" event where ebony and tanskin will be temporarily offered at VolksUSA. I wish the Japanese-style outfits would be available for the USA market too.

Either way, I'm going to run down to the store this weekend just to see if they have the heads in person yet.

Hm, so before, Volks would not do both KIPS and sueding. If KIPS are going to be standard, does that mean they will no longer do sueding? Or perhaps you won't get the KIPS if you request sueding....

If I miss Kira this weekend, I can have another chance at her from VolksUSA! I'm also hoping to get the separate white frilly dress that is similar to Kira's for another of my girls (they can match!). Those plaid shoes with the cherries are looking at me, too.

I hope they do freckles now. I asked about freckles on my girl at Dolpa NY and Shino told Bailey write it down in the description just in case the artist who gets the order is willing. Still *crossing fingers* that they do give her a smattering of lovely spots

 

As for the new FCS molds, will they be available after the event? I only ask because its the only thing on ria_ria's post without a day. It just says available at Sato. Just curious for clarification.

Wow. Genji is about six shades of gorgeous from what I can see of him... Thank the gods of resin that he's an SD17 and not an SD13... That means I'm safe from him! Those big boys are just too tall and heavy for me to handle.

No such luck with the F-40, though. He's just 100% pure Doom in resin form.

I think I know what I want for Christmas...

 

Ok, I am officially confused, even after reading all of this. Is the F-40 head limited or not?

 

My understanding is that the f-40 will be available at the Sato event in a FCS form. It will be available at Sato after the event too, as it wil be added to the line up of Sato FCSs. But the head won't be available at the Sumika FCS for a while, if ever. So if you want the f-40, you'll have to go to Sato on or after the event. So it's sort of limited, but not totally, if you get me
