Question:
Do you know if they will offer the sunlight skin at sumika stores for a limited time this summer? I heard a rumor that they might.

 

That F-38 is BEAUTIFUL. I'll be saving my pennies to get him in october. Those MSDs are killer adorable too~!

I'm confused- are these heads coming out in March, or are they coming out in October? Is the October thing the announcement for the NEXT round of changes or something?

 

These heads are being introduced in March. I think Ria means more changes are slated in October

I'm so glad to finally see more minis with the fairy ears. ^^ That MSD F-22 catches my eye, but I think I'm safe since I'm not looking to get any more minis for awhile. *whew*

But the F-38! I love his more mature look, and he is so very handsome. But these days, even long-leg SD13 boys (which are about 61-62cm, I believe?) aren't very tall relative to other companies' boys, and to fit in my group this guy would definitely need a taller body. It would be awesome beyond belief if Volks put the SD17 body in FCS -- Volks needs taller boys that aren't ridiculously hard to get! But then again, this is Volks, so who knows? They're such teases though. Are they only telling us that new bodies will be added in October, but not telling us what ones until then? XD

 

Thank you for posting this! F-38 is really handsome. I like that there are new MSD fairy molds, too. I had an MSD F-13 girl planned, but now I wonder if F-22 might be a better mold for her.

I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures of these lovely new dolls!

HERE HERE! I completely agree. Those SD17 bodies are to die for and an F-38 on an SD17 would totally push him to number one on my must buy (OK 2... B-el Unoa is first)

That F21 is PRECIOUS. I wonder if they can be fitted for the smaller ears, like the ones on the F13?

 

Those are the same size as the F13 elf ears. I think it's the angle, color and haircut that makes them look larger. The F22 has the long elf ears. Unfortunately volks doesn't have smaller msd ears, which would be great

Hopefully by "new bodies" they don't mean new torso choices or something (since there is a "body" choice in the FCS beyond just SD13 boy, SD10 girl, etc).

SDC bodies would be a great addition, IMHO, 'cause most MSD heads fit on them nicely!

 

I would positively die if they offered SD17 bodies for FCS. More specifically, my wallet would positively die.

echoing in with all the others hoping for SDC bodies ;0;... I love my MSD fat, chunky body but her elbows are so bleh :/ even with wiring the posing isn't that great...

I'm hoping that the Mark Elena sculpts are going to be added to the regular FCS soon too. But I love that they've added a really mature man!

 

I wonder if they'll do SD16 and SD17 bodies... and if they do those, if they'll add YoSD FCS!!!

 

That F38 is love! Oh my, all of these changes are so exciting! I wish they were happening earlier in the year than October, though! It'll be hard, sitting on this, knowing that changes are coming, but not knowing *what* they will be...

I could care less about new body options since the SD13 boy body serves all of my purposes just nicely the way it is, but I am definitely ordering an F38 boy come April.

Just when I think my resin family is complete, then "bang!!" Volks comes out with something that I like.....

Oh, this F38 is so handsome.

But the new heads which will be added in October is F39 and up.... so that means F38 will be available earlier than Oct. (my wild guess). However, if the body of SD17 is not available for him, then it would be such a shame.

Anyway, we will just have to wait and see what Volks does in the near future

 

F38 and the other heads pictured in this thread will be available in only a couple of weeks. ; )

Volks has just given everyone the heads-up that there will be even MORE new heads added later in the year, in October. It seems like FCS is getting a pretty big shakeup come October!

 

I hope that more Sato heads end up in the Sumika line.

I'm so excited to see all of these new heads coming out! I like the new MSD Fairy heads, but not as much as the discontinued MSD F-12.

New bodies and others parts would be wonderful!!! Oh, I hope they add the SD Girl suwarikko body!! And I wonder what the new makeup system will be like? And how the wig system will change? I want to know more!!

I hope they won't discontinue my favorite heads! I'm so afraid that SD F-08 will be discontinued before I can order my white-skin Rio! I love Rio so much. I'd hate for her to be gone forever.

 

Ditto that, Cam. I'm definitely going for sunlight Rio if they have sunlight at this years NYC Dolpa. I just have a feeling she's next.

I had a heart-attack over MSD F-12 and F-03 being discontinued. Luckily, I nabbed an F-03 in the nick of time! She outta be here any day now But I'm not taking anymore chances, Rio will be mine!

But at least you might have an easier time getting one, Cam. Because whiteskin is more universal than sunlight, even if you can't afford a whole FCS doll if she's discontinued, you might be able to do a split with someone where you get the head and they get the body. Then she could share with Claudia until she gets her own.

I'm hoping more hands become available separately. I love hand options, and what's the point of the awesome one touch system if there's only a few readily available hands? Also hoping the optional ears become available separately too.

 

The f 37 id MSD or SD?

 

Aichan: I believe the F37 is an SD. Since volks shows her modeling SD size cloths. I hope that helps.
