I really wanted Rinon, but I entered for Rinon and Elena... No luck with Rinon, but I just payed for Elena! Though I might try to get Rinon later, somehow. It would be really nice to have her in two sizes
meanwhile, I'm curious about Elena. I nearly bought big Elena two years ago, but ended up with Rinon instead. Maybe that's why it's the other way around this time

 

Just wanted to explain that all the while I was actually talking about DD confirmations and not about the Resin dolls. I am sorry to some I had responded to - I had not thought to ask what doll they were putting in for (damn my lack of sleep ahah T3T). I am really glad that there is some good news going on though and were successful. Congrats on your new dolls everyone I am very happy for all of you! ^-^ Anyway, just wanted to say this as it was bugging me when I re-read my posts and seen the results now that most were pining for Resin dolls. And yeay for the good outcome!

I won Yo Rinon! So excited! I haven't entered a lottery in three or four years so I'm very excited to be welcoming my first brand new Volks doll in ages. I have missed having a Yo and now I'll have one around the place again

My friend won Tae for me!

 

I managed to win yo Rinon (and totally didn't waste any time paying for her lol). She'll be my first Volks doll. I've always had a soft spot for the Volks YoSDs, but never really thought I'd ever own a tiny again since the little anthro I had before didn't work out. But I got a Littlefee late last year and am now positively in love with the size. And then I saw the pictures of the Yos for this event... A cute face does me in, every time.

This is also the first time I've ever entered into any type of doll lottery event. I'm still surprised that I won! The last time I won something in a drawing-type lottery event, it was a super awesome Walkman at a Halloween carnival when I was 10 or so. xD

 

Wow congratulations quirked! Yo's are fantastic! They do have the darnedest tendency to multiply, though.

 

Thanks! Not surprised about the multiplying tendency... I'm waiting on Littlefee #2, and it will be a race with Rinon to see who gets home first. xD

 

they do multiply dont they? My first yo was piccolo.. i thought i was happy with just one... Now with Kanata i have two lol i really hope two doesn't turn into three i cant afford it! lol

 

They are just so much cuter with friends for some reason!! I thought one would be plenty also... Snicker. Now I have over 10. Oops.

I love my Yo's! They really are the most fun dolls when it comes to posing (and travel, goodness knows)

Wow, both my friend and I won Tae! My friend got the email yesterday, and I just got my email this morning. She was entering for me so I paid for hers first. Oops, looks like I might have to ignore my winning email

Thank you so much essiekl and purplepaws! I had a difficult time choosing between Coco and Chiyo (who I still plan to buy in the future), but it was Coco's pouty lips that helped me make my decision.

The dolls will be offered from June 1st - June 8th on a first come first serve basis. Hopefully anyone who didn't get their dolls have a chance now Good luck!

Oooo thats a great surprise from volks!! i'm glad they have seen how much we love them. i hope people are able to get the dolls they want the second time around!

 

I am also surprised at the announcement. I won't be participating because I'm out of doll funds this year and I'm suffering from over dosage of big boys. Not even tempted by that beautiful Saito Hajime. Those who did not win Saito must surely try again now. He's a beautiful sculpt. I'm surprised at the price tag. I think it's a good price.

 

If anyone can't wait for the USA, all the dolls except YoSD Rinon and the Dollfie Dreams are available to buy right now on the Volks International site.

I'm so glad I checked this thread, I managed to purchase her through the International site. Thank you so muchhhh for the head's up~!

 

I cannot believe that I'm letting Saito get away! Honestly, my budget won't let me have him. The timing is not good. But he's a good catch for those who got him.

Everything is back in stock at VolksUsa except for Yo-Rinon. Saito is soooo tempting me, though!

 

Must say that's pretty goofy! A new version of "lottery", LOL. (Must remind myself that I don't need Yo Elena... I don't like the Origin body...)

I think they were having issues with the website, according to the comments on a post on their Facebook page they made about the dolls being available. The dolls initially showed as unavailable for me, but showed after logging into my account and refreshing. I managed to get through the checkout process with Yo-Elena around 11:45 PST.

I swear I'm done after this...

Frankly, I avoid the Volks USA site and buy everything off the international one. I find it to be easier to check out and things don't seem to disappear from my cart. Plus it usually ends up being cheaper for me. Bonus.

For anyone that's interested in Saito, I just came back from Japan and I noticed that he (as well as Kondo) were in most of the Volks stores. I have a feeling he's going to be available online to buy for a little while. I'm not sure if they over projected their numbers and didn't sell them or if they purposely made more so he would be available if people wanted him in the future?

Still lots of limited dolls on the Volks International site. No Rinon and No SDGr Tae (or the DD's). But they still have the other Dolpa 31 dolls, Devil Man's, Cyborg Isao and Chika.

Has anyone received a tracking number yet from things they ordered from the Volks International site? I'm very anxious to get my Rinon!

 

I can't believe I was worried about getting Elena, so many left over.

I guess everyone really loved Rinon more.

 

I don't know if that is true - I think Elena is far more popular from what I've seen on the discussion threads. It's very possible that Rinon was produced in a much smaller number because they didn't think the the demand was there.

 

No tracking yet, but I did get a 'confirmation of credit card charge' email this morning.

 

I received my tracking numbers for both my Taes on Friday, and they reached me today!

...I'm actually overseas at the moment, though, so no box openings for a few days yet. ;v;

 

I got my shipping notification today. My Yosd Elena is coming home (after custom...)!!
