My poor Ryoma has been in his box since I got him, but I finally took him out for a photo a few days ago!

He is beautiful, rainwaltz. How do you feel about him?

 

That is gorgeous Ryoma you've got, rainwaltz.
Does he have custom faceup? I notice his mouth is different. Gorgeous faceup.

 

Your Ryomas are all quite handsome! I'm having a hard time being patient for mine. XD

 

Aww, you haven't received him? At first a lot of people don't seem to like him that much because of the strong jaw, but I think he has a very unique, manly face! I hope yours come home soon!

 

No, not yet. I'm waiting on my final invoice from WLD. I'd hoped he'd be here for my birthday on Monday, but I'm thinking I'll be lucky to see him by the beginning of August. I will keep looking at the pictures here until then.

I like his jaw line but it does sometimes strike me as too big for his frame, lol. He is my first big guy doll. My boys are either mini size or tiny. Ryoma will take some getting used to, but I couldn't pass him up!

 

Love him, but all my favourite faceup artists are closed -- so no new face for him yet! What I love about Ryoma is the cheekbone, heehee.

Thank you! He still has his default faceup, but I erased his mouth dots because they were really asymmetrical.

Oh~ you did remove the dots. XD I rarely take frontal photo of Ryoma because of those dots. It's cool IRL but I just can't get it good enough in my picture. OTL

Good luck everyone who is waiting for their Ryoma to come home in August.

Mine is on layaway right now, I should get him in early september, I guess.
Can't wait to see IRL if I'm bother or not but his make-up and huge jaw... I am still wondering !!!

Ryo is out for delivery since 6:33 am. Where is she!?

 

He's here! Well, he's in my trunk to be precise. X) I just picked him up from my parents' but I'm not opening him until I get back to my home. The box is huge! It's almost half as tall as I am and I'm not short. o_o

 

She's here!! Omg she is beautiful! My first volks!

Ryoma (my Romeo Saki) through We Love Dolls was delivered yesterday just as I was running out the door to go to UFDC's sales room, which I'm sure was why my wallet ended up being left behind on the floor of my hallway instead of in my handbag! Argggh! Needless to say my spending at the United Federation of Doll Clubs sales room was limited. Then I didn't get home from dinner until really late last night...so I'm just getting to debox my Romeo now...and will post again once I have freed him from his packing.

Congrats again to everyone welcoming or who has already welcomed home their own "Mr. Smirky".

I played with my Ryō and Ryōma today, and I think I like this idea of Ryōma's asymmetrical mouth paint job, it lets you catch different expressions on a camera! ^^
