Volks Doll's Party 25 (GW Tokyo Dolpa) will be 4/30/2011

I haven`t been paying the best of attention unfortunately.
Not sure if it`s forcibly, but he has been asking during the bingo whether you already have one or not. I think he MIGHT have mumbled what you were asking about, but I can`t confirm it because I wasn`t listening :X

Again, since I`m not after the auctions, I wasn`t paying attention. I do know that the prices were in the range of 1,000,000 at mid-call, and I think they MIGHT have gone down in price at the end, but I only caught the last half. I do know that Suigintou was in the 1,000,000range, and ended up around 800,000. Not sure about Tamaki`s end price. They did allow Staff to bid for the Charity stuff, but I am not sure about the auction models.

I didn`t want anything, since my favorite dealer will be at Dollshow tomorrow, and I want to save my money for it.
I also figured 45 one-offs = 45 in Huis Ten Bosch, lesser war, higher chances.
On the other hand, a couple of my friends actually picked up the one offs from this time, Lucas, Jun, and Renee. I guess with so many one-offs people spread out evenly.

I was able to compare Kujo with Renee, which bares some resemblance, but no Shinku to Compare Victorique with.

Can someone translate the basic gist of this banner or at least happen to know which molds those are? The red and blue eyelashes are really unique and I'd like to keep my eye out for more of these two precious ones. Thanks!

Wow, thanks for all the pics, KimaLucifer! Hmmm from the non-company photos of Victorique, I'm not sure I'm as into her as I was before. I'm still going to go for her, but I don't know.. she's a little less perfect than I'd thought...

 

Thank you very much! I thought it looked like Kurumi and Miruku, but they look so different from that angle and with the different make up. I really like the orangey colored blush on Kurumi.

 

Thanks for the photos KimaLucifer. Glad to see some closeups of the GOSICK dolls. I think Victorique would benefit from higher-placed eyebrows but her head mold is pretty darn cute! Kujo couldn't get any cuter, however XD.

Wow, Volks really outdid themselves on all those one-offs. They're all dressed so beautifully too. Love all the girls dressed in cute boyish clothing . Also, I don't know if I should laugh or groan at all those Yos in Nazi uniforms. I know, I know, cultural differences and all that, but it's still a little disturbing.

Btw, I think the mystery boy in photo 21 is Okita version 2.

The One-Offs are spectacular. Ryoya Rene and Okita 2 are my favorite! I also like the Maki T. If this is any indication of thier One-Offs from now on this is great. Soo many and so beautifully dressed!!!!

Ria_Ria, I confirmed at dollshow today with other people regarding the sei-tenshi stuff.

If you have won two of them, he seems to be asking you to resign from it. It seems like if you own only one, it`s okay, but if you already own two, he asks you to resign from it.

One-Off Luna sigh! Love me some Luna. I love the cute little babushka yo bags. I may have to grab one when they come to Volks USA. I am safe from this Dolpa, for now lol Victoria is really adorable. I would love her outfit. I wish it was available separately. Or at least those boots.

 

Aren't those little Babushka sleeping bags the cutest things? I would love to buy one for one of my yo's as I have a Babushka theme going on here and there at my house

 

After seeing actual photo of Neris, she is even more amazing to me. I love her!

Well, it looks as if my Kujo has turned into 4 new tires for my SUV. I really can't put it off any longer......I suppose I will have to buy him off of YJ or something. Being responsible sucks!

I always thought Victorique would make an adorable doll and then Volks had to go an tempt me... And I REALLY want her shoes...I've wanted a pair for my dolls ever since I first saw the Gosick manga/anime. However Kujo is surprisingly more tempting to me. After seeing the larger picts that are on the wall at Volks USA, I want to give him bunny ears and make him an older White Rabbit. Kujo is just so sweet and cute with that face!

My bank account shows that I was just charged from Volks USA for Neris. So I guess I won? I didn't get an email or anything, but yay just the same. Has anyone else received notification or charges or anything yet?

 

Volks puts a hold on your card, whether you win or not. If you don't win, the charge will disappear in a week or so. It's just to keep people who aren't serious from taking up lottery spaces and wasting their time, mostly. So the charge, unfortunately, doesn't mean anything. They won't start working the lottery out until entries are closed, and it's generally about a week until they notify the winners.

We (well, my GF) have an entry in for Neris, as well. From everything coming out of Japan, she's immensely popular, so we're not holding our breaths about actually getting her.

septunie, sadly, it's just a hold as, cosplayshots, said. The hold usually lets up after a bit of time once the entry period has closed. After that, the grueling wait! ;3

 

Once the charge hold disappears from your card, it pretty much means you are out of luck.

Has anybody heard from WLD or Kerby Lane yet? I was hoping to enter the Volks USA lottery if I didn't win from either of them but don't want to put my name in at a third shop. Can you tell I am anxious? LOL

When I put it for Williams and Ayumu Volks charged my Amex...but then the charge disappeared because I guess its an authorization. I won them both and was charged two weeks later.

I am sad I couldn't put in for Kujo...the prices on YJ are crazy with the crummy exchange rate....

 

I thought I read it was May 11 when we'd hear something. I didn't put in with Volks either. I just couldn't handle the hold, even knowing if I win it'll cost that much!

 

That wait is awful. I'm waiting for Beatrice currently and it's not fun. I really wish Volks would use air shipping instead of by boat, if they shipped their orders in bulk, I bet they could do it without a large increase in price, and I'd sure as heck be willing to pay and extra $10 or $20 to have my doll come in two weeks like the Int'l lottery, instead of three months like with Volks USA. I talked to their staff about air shipping and they acted like it'd be prohibitively expensive, but I think they'd be surprised at how little difference there'd actually be.

It'll probably be somewhat before that date, I know that's usually the case. The stated date is usually a deadline of sorts, instead of an actual set date.

We got our numbers today from Volks and it was a wonderful surprise for us too. Ran our lottery quickly and notified all the winners. This is a quick notification so deposits are due tomorrow.
