Volks Doll's Party 25 (GW Tokyo Dolpa) will be 4/30/2011

Good Luck to everyone who put it. It looks like I will be sitting this one out

 

There are similarities but I don't think they're the same. F-25 is quite cheerful and bubbly no matter how you paint the head. It also looks like a SD sized version of MSD Magie/Myu/Sakura. Victorique to me looks more like Cyndy and the 4 Sisters.

 

She is similar, but she is her own head sculpt ^_^

 

Got more money this month than expected, so I'll definitley bring home Victorique even if I have to get her through Y!J.
By the way, I contacted Volks international to ask if Kujo and Victorique would be available in the international AE, and they will!
Just thought I'd put it out there just in case there's someone else out there who wonders.

 

I'm so sick of waiting already. I want to know if I win! lol.

 

It's my first time ordering with Kerbey Lane, so can anyone tell me around how long does it take for the results to come out? ;_;'

The results with the dealer usually come out around the same time as when Volks puts out the winners or maybe after volks puts out their winners. At least, this is what I believe. I won Williams from Welovedolls, and was contacted about two days before Volks emailed me and let me to let me know I won through them as well. But I believe I did not hear from Volks first, only because they were experiencing delays. Now, I could be wrong since that was my first time going through a dealer...

BTW, everyone cross-checks to make sure no one is winning more than one doll...

 

You US residents are so lucky getting the lottery so soon. I'll have to wait 'til the international AE, and it's killing me.

 

KL and WLD said that they will tell us before Volks will, that way they can tell Volks your name so you don't win two.

I am playing with the idea to get Victorique so thanks for the info. I was doubting her international release because there can be licensing issues and I thought the series is so popular in Japan that maybe the "full" license was too pricey...thanks for clearing that up.^-^

Will have to start contemplating...rather seriously.

If your on the fence about her I will say this. The Rozen Maiden girls prices sky rocketed in the after market. And I still have not been able to get a Shinku so if your wondering or on the fence you mind as well enter because if you dont your going to pay a lot if you change your mind in the future. She is a gorgeous girl and Volks has yet to disappoint me. Check my profile I own almost all Volks, and I have owned lots of other dolls but Volks keeps pulling me in.

Ahiru- hang in there the International site is usually not far behind the US one. They will most likely have her they always seem to have what comes to the US. And they do a lottery for dolls too now. I bet Volks will be generous again this lottery.

 

I really wish I could enter for her, but I just don't have the money right now... I already have several girls on layaway... I know I will regret it later trying to get her on the aftermarket, but right now I dont have any other options. I just really hope she dosen't go as high as the Rozen Maiden girls. T-T

If someone wins, does anyone know about how long it would take for the doll to get to them?

 

I have never ordered from the dealers and always with Volks directly, but it always takes a couple of months. I believe the dealers get thier dolls at the same time and then they have to sort them out and mail them, so its basically around the same time, give or take a few days.

 

so if we are going to know the winners sometime in May, we should see them in the galleries around end of July/beginnning of August?

 

Yes, someone correct me if I am wrong please...but it has usually been like two month wait, maybe a tad longer.

 

From the Volks USA site for ordering here is the info on delivery.....

We expect this item to be ready for delivery in approximately August 2011.

 

Oh such a long time from now. But I wouldn't mind waiting that long to get Victorique. She's simply perfect. Even if I don't win her, by August I'll have enough $$ to buy her secondhand.

Are the Rozen Maiden Girls and these two the only anime dolls volks has made so far (other than the DD anime ones)

 

No, Volks have made Chii(SD) from Chobits, Yumi (SD) and Sachiko(SD13) from Maria-sama ga miteru and Tsuyoshi Maki(SD13) from ~Top Secret~ The Revelation.
I think that's all of them...

I really like the Dollfie Dream outfit that has the pink dress and white shorts. It's really adorable, but I'm not sure if I want to try to buy it or not.

I am so excited to put in for my Kujo this weekend. I was so sure I was safe from this one LOL, but the little guy grew on me. ^_^

 

I love the little YoSD outfits with ears and boots lol... It's probably a good thing I no longer have a YoSD! They're soo cute. And I like Neris's outfit, but none of the other outfits are my taste... I do like the headphones and microphones, though

 

Thought I am safe from this dolpa. But Vic seems to be calling out to me. And that SD16 White dress is so pretty!!!

Some of those auction outfits look a lot like leftover pieces from other outfits, like the one with the long black dress and the fur coat. The dress and the coat are from two separate SD16 outfits they have offered previously.

I love the fact that they are doing Gosick its one of my fav mangas ever but the only thing that bugs me is that I really think they should have made Victorique an MSD it would have been truer to the manga.

 

Oh no, that would break the debate forum with 60/45 discussions and we all know Volks is never gonna go there. XD

Kujo would look adorable as a SD boy but Victorica as a MSD girl might still be a tad too small for being the same age and would not sell as well imo than if she was a SD girl.

 

If Volks was ever going to go there (in a non-MDD format as there are several eroge MDD), it would have been with an MSD Murasaki to go with SD17 Genji. *is shot*

But while an MSD would have been better for character purists height wise, SD girls sell better than MSD girls. I wish they had gotten her eye colour right. Hinaichigo really should have been an MSD girl as well, but they went with a YoSD and I have no doubt it is because it is a more popular size.

 

I would have preferred Kujo to be SD as well.

 

Oh man, I seriously love that one-off Crystal! She is amazing. I have always been a fan of SD13 Crystal.

 

Omigawd wow! I thought it might be, but then I thought I was insane... I almost wrote "is that an Arashi who's been made-up within an inch of his life?" but then deleted it for fear of sounding like a moron. If I put this guy in a crowded room with my own Arashi, they wouldn't recognize each other. ^^ He looks SO different!

I don't think I've ever seen a one-off Arashi before, either. Absolutely wonderful. Such a shame, I'll never find out where he went to, so I won't be able to stalk him online after he gets home. *snf*

Yeah that is true I guess I was thinking in more of the true to characters perspective of the whole thing and not what would sell the most. But saying that I do wish they would bring out more cute MSD ^^

Highlights from today:
Auction ends at 30000yen to roll the bingo, not play, roll.
Auction for Bingo Reach ends at 28000yen, lady who gets bingo with it ends up getting the plastic file, not a Tenshi.
At mid-time announcements, The Yo-tenshi Auction models actually didn`t have a bidder.
There were 45 One offs at Dolpa. This means 45 One offs at Huis Ten Bosch. D:

Is this true that Mr. Shigeta started letting the winner of Sei-Tenshi who has already won Sei-Tenshi at the other event decline it forcibly? (= When you won one Sei-Tenshi, you cannot get the another Sei-Tenshi from BINGO etc even if you won it, and you have to decline it forcibly, for new rule by Volks.)

Is this true that the Volks staff was the highest bidder of DD Tamaki, whose bid was 1,600,000 yen, and after Volks had canceled it, the maximum amount fell into 200,000 yen? (Volks was saying that Volks staffs were able to bid this time.)
