Volks Doll's Party 25 (GW Tokyo Dolpa) will be 4/30/2011

Ughhhh taking one of my new favorite animes and turning them into dolls! Volks you truly are demonic!!!!! The only thing I'd have to disagree with is some of Victorique's aesthetics...her wig isn't nearly long enough and her face looks too gentle... :\

 

The girl is really cute but I'm holding out for Big Lorina! I pray she will be in the lottery!!

 

I am going for sure!!! Don't want to miss the event anymore!!

 

Victorica is SOOO CUTE!!! Yay for more adorable SD Girls!! I've never heard of Gosick before, but now I really want to read/see it!

Victorique definitely doesn't look that sweet or innocent, lol. She's always drawn with a sly look. I think they really should have gone with that for her since her appeal is that she's a snarky loli. The outfit is gorgeous, though.

I still want Kujo. He is so adorkable.

 

If I wasn't trying to save money for my Williams body I'd be all over those two ffffff both of their outfits are awesome

Noooooooo! I just checked this thread out. Gosick is one of my favorite anime this season! Even though Victorique is not perfect, I think she's quite lovely! No way I can afford her now

Victorica is made of win.....

 

She really reminds me of the Shinku sculpt! Very similar to my eyes.

 

Victorica looks so much like a "classic" Volks sculpt to me. She's like a cross between Ran and Cyndy! How can Ran + Cyndy NOT equal cuteness?

Love Victoriques sculpt. When I lose the current lottery, I'd try my luck with her.
At least I hope I'll be able to get her outfit + wig for a reasonable price. (If there is anyone who wants to get her but has no use for the clothing: PM me xD)

As for her resemblance to the anime...Volks has always been slightly different with their SD dolls based off of animes (from Chii to the Rozen maiden girls). It seems like the DD (dollfie dreams) and figure kits are where they try to be super accurate, but the Super Dollfie are always more...doll like or real like...I am not sure how to describe it. It is just how it has always been lol.

 

Oh no, I may need her.. She looks so much like older Volks molds which are my taste I hope her price isn't too high or I can split off her stuff if she wins me over..

I love Victorique in the anime so I have to have her. I love the outfits too. Her being a cute girl makes her fit well with my other girls too.

 

They both seem cute and pretty. Hopefully the girl won't stole my heart - I can't fall in love with another Volks doll now! Anyway, must wait for more photos.

I love that we have the same taste in dolls!!! Victorica (Victorique?) is seriously cute, just like a mix of Shinku, Ran, and Cyndy! I have to wait for better pictures to be sure, but I think I've lost my heart again! I don't have much dolly money saved up, but maybe (just maybe) I could work out a payment plan with my folks.

I hope we can both get her Nabee!!! If not this time, then someday!!

 

I can´t believe the characters are from Gosick...I am planning a Victorica-cosplay for my Luna...I have the green-metallic eyes and the wig ready but I am still looking for a black victorian dress.
Anyway I liked this anime a lot. I think that the new episode was aired just today( it´s friday here) ^-^

The Volks Victorica/Victorique is very lovely but I am not quite sure she is a must-have. I imagined her more childlike and cute from the anime.
I was thinking that for this Dolpa a SDGr Lorina would be available...I was pretty positive about that. I wonder when she´ll be released.

The official romanization of her name on the official subtitles is Victorique.

Chehime - all of the Huis ten Bosch dolls in the past have been Huis ten Bosch only. I highly doubt they are going to be released elsewhere in Japan. It defeats the purpose of making them special, event only items.

 

Cammy, I'm in the same boat as you! I didn't plan to buy another doll until the fall.. But Victorique is too charming! She looks like she has Ran's adorable tiny mouth, Cyndy's eyes and a mix between Shinku/Ran's face shape!! She combines some of my favorite from all the molds. I may be in serious danger!

 

Thanks Kim!!! I've seen it written both ways so I wasn't sure which was official. I like the spelling of Victorique, but I really like the sound of Victorica!

 

Victorique has really stolen my heart. I kind of hope she'll come with the pipe, and it would be awesome if there was more outfits.
Kujo is very interesting too, but if I have to choose I'd pick Victorique without a doubt.

I hope so bad, too!~ I'm going to do my best to save and try with KL or WLD if I don't have the entire total. Hopefully I can get someone who likes her outfit and wig, as they're not much my taste for this particular gal. I'd love to see her in Antique or Mori style or something. She is just so cute and almost shocked looking.

I just looked again and I think you're right! There is a bit of Yori in her!!! You can definitely tell she's a Volks girl.

 

So far I like how Victorique looks >< but as always I wish for more pictures *o* since intial photos can be quite deceiving..

 

I'm about to explode with excitement over Victorica!! I really love Gosick, so it's just so appropriate that Volks does a release of her since her character is always being called doll like.

I'm hoping her eyes are a brighter green than these pictures are showing, maybe it's the lighting angle? A floor length wig would have been amazing too, but one can't have everything. ;-)

Well, I see a doll I need but it's not the SDs. I think I'm going to have to go for Dollfie Dream Neris! She will be PERFECT for a character I want to make!!

 

Well the new SD girl is cute... But I was hoping for an sd17 boy XD Oh well She really is cute I can't wait to see more photos of her and user photos (eventually)!!

 

Aughhh, I've been kind of wanting an MDD, and I almost got the Kudo MDD but I was so sure the next MDD would be Victorique since she is supposed to be so short, but then I guess they wouldn't be able to make her a pair with Kujo. I think they should have at least made her an MSD. Although I don't think she actually looks like the character I do think the molds are both cute. However, I reaaaaally want the SDGr Alice so I think I'll pass, even though I LOVE Gosick.

Oh, and I was also hoping for a new SD17 or a rerelease of Hijikata Toshizo. I really want a guy, but I really want him to be Volks, and unfortunately I don't like the more feminine looking boys like Edwards.

The one pic is captioned that they're both SD10s, but the height difference is too great (not that the angles might not be playing tricks there).

 

I don't like anime or manga (ok... I like Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura... but more because they were part of my childhood ) but the SD girl AND boy (I usually don't care for boys) are SO FRIGGIN CUTE .

Wow. Undecided if I will enter for them. Kind of broke right now and I want to see what else this dolpa has to offer, but I will definitely be looking forward to owner pictures .

Not really. Mori is sort of more like.. Antique? Or Dolly-kei? Or maybe not either (it's late here, brain is not functioning so well! ) It's got to do with long flowy dresses and earth tones. I think it's cute! Though Dolly-kei would be so cute on her.

This may be dumb.. but how does one pronounce her name? I'm unfamiliar with her character

 

Mori is japanese for forest. Mori girl is a Japanese fashion like lolita. The look is long flowing skirts, layers, cardigans, knits in natural colors. Its called mori because it is said to describe how one looked if you lived in the forest. I saw a lot of girls wearing this in Osaka in 2009 but the buzz seems to have died down a bit since then.

 

These two are seriously cute! But thankfully, they don't seem a threat to my wallet

 

Actually, I think a lot of people get confused with that. It's pronounced Victorica/Victorika even though its spelled (by the Japanese author) as Victorique. I guess that spelling looks prettier XD

 

I imagine the author chose the name Victorique and decided &#12532;&#12451;&#12463;&#12488;&#12522;&#12459; would be the best way to write it in katakana - bu-i ku to ri ka.

Aww.... She's adorable! I already want her! The only problem is, I already have four dollies on layaway... its very unlikely I'll be able to get her... I also really like the pic I've seen of the new Alice and Lorina... I don't have a resin volks doll yet, I have been kind of waiting for a special one to be the first I get, but one of those three would be amazing!! I wish there were more pictures available! I haven't seen the series, so I'll have to make a point of watching it now.

 

If anything I'd try for the girl but she looks too similar to my megu. Is that a good enough reason not to try for her @_@ ?She's super cute! But I think I'm safe!!

 

I think the photos are 2 separate photos merged into one so they are not really standing together in the photo so the height looks really different.

Aw, the boy looks seriously adorable, but thankfully neither are calling out to me. I'm personally holding out to see what the outfits are like. I hope there are some smart-looking sets for SD13 girls - I recently invested in my very first little lady and I can't wait to buy her awesome clothes!

Victoria is adorable. She reminds me a little of Charlotte. Very cute. Thanks goodness she isnt cute enough to be a must have. I am holding out for Luna, or a YO four sister (una) or SD Alice. But Volks never ceases to amaze me. If I had all the $$ in the world I would definitely bring her home. I really like her outfit a lot. The boy is just down right adorable. Don't things normally come to Volks USA roughly about two months after an event? Though that may be different with the dolls compared to clothes and accessories. I think Hansel and Gretel were pretty quick to the Volks USA after their event release. I am personally hoping for at least a month delay to save!

 

I have been thinking about Victorique nonstop I'm definitely going to put in for her. And I know if I don't win her, I'll definitely order her afterwards on the MP.... I have to have her, I don't care what price she gets marked up to.

 

If they are dolls, VolksUSA typically runs a lottery event at the same time as the Japanese Dolpa. Clothes and other Sumika items are what comes a few months later. Now, there is a seperate international After Event lottery a couple weeks/to a month later on the international website for all international customers (not just USA or North America as is the case with the VolksUSA events).

However, we are never sure if dolls will be released just in Japan or internationaly (some are for Japanese only events others they just do not have the rights to distribute outside of Japan (as has been the case in the past with some anime characters).
