Volks Doll's Party 25 (GW Tokyo Dolpa) will be 4/30/2011

I'm thinking I would like to see something new....a new SDGR Boy perhaps? My wallet cannot handel another SD17 at this moment in time.

GW Dolpa is on my birthday this year, so I just know Volks will toss out something I can't live without. Of course, my dream is a sunlight or ebony skin SD17.

But if an SD17 Tsukasa was released, I wouldn't refuse him the chance to eat crackers in my bed.

 

A YoSD version of Mika, Mire, or Myu would be so cute!!! I'd love MSD versions of the Four Sisters too!!!

I'm really, really hoping that they'll release a YoSD Nono Sweet Dream. Talk about an adorable dream coming true!!!

 

There pretty much is an MSD four sisters already. The MSD F-07 mold was pretty much Volks attempt at an F-01 in MSD size.

The F-07 is really cute (all my favorite molds are Sato only ), but it is missing some of the features that I adore in SD and Yosd four sister mold (the actually shape of the face and the eyes are not quite the same and the nose is more elongated). I would love it if they actually released a Megu, Nana, Kira, or Sara in MSD size (with corresponding wig and make-up colors). It would be so cute!

 

I adore MSD F-07!!! It's so cute and I wish it was a Sumika head! It does look a lot like the Four Sisters, but not quite enough to satisfy my MSD Megu cravings. Still, I'd leap at the chance to get an MSD F-07 Girl!!!

Exactly Nabee!!! I'd love it if I could get an MSD Megu to be my Hana's big sister!!

 

MSD megu?! I'm all in!!!! hahaha! I have to say after the last limiteds were released I'm excited to see what other dolls volks has in store!~ I'm gonna be saving up @_@ !! I expect the worst haha!

 

Wouldn't that be lovely? Nothing has tempted me from the Kyoto 8 Dolpa, so I just know I'm going to be hit hard by the Tokyo 25 Dolpa!!! As you said, expect the worse! I have my fingers crossed for an adorable girl doll!!

Oops, that's right! I forgot that we always love the same dolls!!! Don't worry, if your purse is doomed, so is mine! I don't have much doll-money saved up, so I'm sure that I'll either have to restrain myself, or be really poor!!

 

Yuni looks a lot like the 4 Sisters, if you really want an "MSD version." I saw both a Megu and a Yuni together at a meet and I couldn't believe how much they looked like each other!

Also, I would die if there was a Yo-SD version of Myu. I. Would. DIE. And probably buy about 10 of them XD.

 

Oh, I know that if I ever tried to create an MSD Megu using Yuni or MSD F-07, Volks would release the official MSD Four Sisters soon after. That would so be my luck!

Wouldn't that be adorable? I'd love to see Mika, Mire, Myu, and Sakura as cute little Yos!!!

 

Cammy--- that would be so cute. I have MSD Mire, and I would love to get her as a Yo-Sd. I wonder what Volks will have for us with this Dopla?

I still wish I could of gotten a YO-SD 4 sisters---Nana mainly, but kira or megu would of be wonderful to.

I hope you can get your YoSD Nana someday!!! I was really lucky to get my YoSD Megu, and I want everyone to have one of the Little Four Sisters!!

 

Thank You Cammy I received her as a Christmas present. She was a assembly kit. It was the first time I assembled a doll. It was exciting and frustrating, but I was able to get her together in a few hours. I still need to get her a faceup. I'm very happy with her.

I wonder if volks what clothes volks will offer. I can't wait to see the dolls to. I may have some money by then.

What a wonderful present!!! I'd love to receive a doll for Christmas!! I've never assembled a doll either. My Mi-chan was assembled by the Doll Doctor at last year's NY Dolpa. I'd like to be able to assemble a doll by myself, but I'm so afraid of accidentally damaging it! I'm sure I'm nervous for nothing, though. I'm so glad you are happy with your girl!!! My Marianne still needs makeup too.

I guess I haven't paid much to this thread, but all of your thoughts are killing me!!! A Mire or Myu YoSD? Oh geeze, I can only imagine how cute those would be!

I am still really holding out for a cute new MSD gal. A rerelease of YoSD Remi or Kanon are always on my list, too. I just hope there is no lovely SD gal I need, I don't think I'd have enough! I hope pictures can come out soon-ish. Kyoto's Dolpa was not my taste at all.. I'm a bit eager to try for a doll, really!

 

Like Vengez said, I haven't really paid too much attention to this thread, I'm just Waiting for who and what is going to be released for DP25!! The anticipation is killing me

It's actually not too hard...of course the instruction booklet is in Japanese when you get the kits from Japan (like I did), but the illustrations are sufficient enough for you to understand how to put the doll together. Both my MSDs were kits from Volks.
Just takes some time to perfect the face-ups...

 

I've suddenly found myself wanting a Sasha, and only a Sasha. So I should be safe from any other releases, maybe not clothes if there is anything mori style though lol.

 

OOHH!! I am hoping for boys!! SD17, SDGr, and YOSD!! Please please please???

 

I'm really hoping Volks doesn't release something that I will like, lol (well, I also hope they do (I can always buy second-hand later)). XD; I would love to see another SDGr boy as well or a cute new YoSD boy!
I don't have the money for another doll right now though.
I am interested in new clothing sets though. I'm hoping they will release some really cute new outfits or shoes~

 

I'm actually hoping for SD17 and SDGr boys as well.

yepp, a Sasha would be great. But I must say a Masha would work for me, too. The expression and style of this dolls is so unique

But I haven´t made up my mind yet if this is all I wish for this Dolpa...well, I still have plenty of time ^-^

 

I wonder if they're going to postpone this dolpa due to the earthquake and tsunami???

I would be fairly amazed if they COULD have the Dolpa. I'm sure there are many more important issues to deal with at the moment -- like whether that nuclear power facility can be cooled down, and such.

I do hope our friends at Volks are ok.

 

I'm hoping they're safe too! I've emailed Volks both in Japan and here in the USA, to find what we Volks fans can do to help them with disaster recovery, other than donating to the Red Cross. I'll post what I hear from them.

With Huis ten Bosch releasing what looks to be SDGr girl Alice I'm guessing at least one doll will be the SDGr Lorina in the pic next to her. Whether Lorina will be available in the lottery is anyone's guess.

 

Believe it or not, I'm still dreaming of an official Rurouni Kenshin SD. Sigh.....a girl can dream....right?

same here! Volks did a 1/6 Kenshin doll years and years ago. It's be great to see Kenshin or Battousai in 1/3 from volks :3 I have the first Okita Souji.

 

The nuclear problems seem to be escalating. I hope they get that under control. Otherwise, like Baakay, I'm not sure if there can be a dolpa. Far away as I am from Japan, I go to bed each night not sure if something very bad like a massive nuclear explosion is going to happen as I sleep. I cannot imagine how worried people must be in Japan.

 

I am sure that any mold that Volks will release, will be a strong temptation for me, I wonder howl long time I will be able to resist hehehe

Stargazer, Rurouni Kenshin is in it 15th. aniversary, so maybe a SD will not be so far. That will be wonderful!!! I will not resist the tempation.

The SD`s have been announced on Hobby Japan, and it`s the main characters from GOSICK.

The size is SD for Victoria and SD13 for Kujo&#12290;

GOSICK, this is going to be very interesting. Just checked this series out on Anime News Network. I've put this on my "Must Watch" list. However, it seems that either production or airing of the series is halted due to the earthquake, they only have half of the TV series produced and I assume the novels are in Japanese so we won't be able to read it.

Tanpopo Yes, this is Rurouni Kenshin's 15th Anniversary, I've pre-ordered the 2 Kenshin figures from Megahouse. Himura Kenshin is an Ishin patriot, given the nuclear crisis in Japan unfolding like this, it is appropriate to release or re-release Himura Kenshin merchandise and series, I was really hoping this dolpa will do that but look like it's not to be. I'm very disappointed. I'm not sure if I should participate in the lottery or wait and continue to hope they release an official Rurouni Kenshin SD. Perhaps, I could wait and wait a life time......

Shelley I also have the Volks 12" Kenshin dollfie. He's the only official Himura Kenshin dollfie ever released to date. The Megahouse new releases are action figures. The dollfie is wonderful. I love to photograph him.

I knew there were going to be GOSICK dolls and am happy to see that Volks is the company collaborating. I have only watched one episode of the anime and never continued with it (for a few reasons but maybe I'll give it another try if I like the dolls, lol) but I like the style of the artwork and the clothing style of the characters quite a bit though, so this is exciting!

I wonder because there was a collab. with GOSICK and Innocent World for human size clothes if the dolls will wear IW too?

Goodness Volks has a lot of Dolpas! lol! It's hard to keep track of them all... I hope I'm not tempted by any... I really need to focus on my wishlist I already have.

I love GOSICK, but I'm not feeling like the sculpts of either are right for the characters. I know it's sacrilege but I would've loved it Victorique was a Mini DD, just because I like the way they draw her and the closer the doll gets, the better, when it comes to this character.

 

I wonder if Victorique will be holding a pipe or/and book. The photos are too blurry. I was looking through GOSICK images online and the novel reviews on this title sounds really good. However, like cosplayshots, I prefer Victorique as a DD or MDD, I like her artwork in the anime. The eyes of the 2 DDs in this dolpa remind me of my 1970s Sekiguchi Printemps doll except they're light blue instead of deep green. It looks increasingly like my wallet is safe for this dolpa, I was hoping to participate.

So is the boy an SD13 and the girl an SD10? What a cute set. What does GOSICK mean or refer to?

 

GOSICK is a light novel/anime series about a mystery solving Victorian duo. I believe the name was supposed to be Gothic, but ended up being Gosick, which is sort of how gothic would be pronounced and written in Japanese.

 

They're adorable! I haven't been in trouble for a while, but I think I might be this time.
Although since they're a series tie-in I wonder if they'll be available outside Japan, or if licensing issues will prevent that. *fingers crossed that there's no problems*

 

I like them a lot. The sculpts seem like a return to older Volks aesthetics. The girl looks a lot like Megu and the boy looks like Kun IMO. I don't think I need either, but they are really cute so I can't say for sure. I really want both wigs though! They're perfect for two of my own dolls
