Wow, thanks all for posting the new photos. Dahlia(sp?) is gorgeous. Thank goodness I do not buy the big girls or I would be sunk. I think she sort of looks like a mix of girls. Rinon, Lieselotte, and Elena. She would be the perfect sister for the SD-16 Kira. Again, so glad I dont collect these girls because I would be doomed. I love the outfits. I have to have one of them. I am partial to the plaid outfit on Aya so darn cute, although I also love the red skirt one. I know what I am asking for Xmas lol
Daniel, Thanks I thought that was Shirou. I really want a Shirou girl but I have been holding off. I am still waiting for Luna's re-release

Dodging the Williams bullet~ Daria and Tanpopo are both tempting, but I'm actually trying for Christmas Alna.

 

Good. I am safe from the outfits so I now only have to concentrate on bringing home my holy grail, dream doll to complete the family ^_^~ Ahhh Williams!! Time to finally bring you home after all these years of waiting XD Although I must admit that the timing is a bit awful, money is always tight at Christmas and the exchange rate + tax will be the death of me.

But nevertheless, it's all worth it for this man ~~

 

Tsukidoll you know you'll be the one I call the day he arrives! Knowing me, if I get lucky enough to win him, I'll probably have a little party Parting with that amount of cash is going to be painful but if I don't try for him this time, I know I'll regret it later:O Also, I love that Shirou mold either as a girl or handsome boy...his eyes are amongst the nicest shape I've seen. I glanced at the clothes and they are SO ridiculously cute but for now I have to focus my money on "The Young Ensign"

 

I am torn between the two outfits. I am gonna try for both. The black one with the red skirt is the most expensive of the two but the plaid one is really reasonable. The same as most SD outfits from Volks. I figure I will have Xmas funds anyhow so I mind as well get the girls something nice lol

 

SD17 Williams, come to meeeeeeeeeee!

I just calculated his price with the exchange rate and gasped...but I'm still 100% determined to enter the lotteries for him! I have an SD13 Williams but I love the SD17's face so much that I can't pass up an opportunity to have him.

There's a thread comparing SD13 and SD17 Williams here, for anyone who was wondering what the differences are.

Daria is stunning! I would consider bringing her home if it weren't for Williams.

 

I am curious now though if there is going to be any sort of actual difference in the doll to denote this being a younger version of Williams, or if it's just something they're using as a title.

Oh dude, that is Cecile. O__O I didn't even notice. Random thought but... am I the only one who'd love Volks to sculpt an older, SD17 version of Sunlight Cecile to go along with Reisner and Williams? >_>

After seeing the clearer Volks News photos, I'm also going to have to agree for the 100th time with everyone loving on Dahlia. She looks absolutely gorgeous. I see a little bit of what people were saying about her looking like Madoka, but at the same time she looks very different too.

 

Oboyoboyoboy! More foxy pirates off the port bow! My god, those boots. I mean that's a goodlooking Williams & a heartstopping Reisner, but daaaaaang, those boots. Projectile nosebleeds ahoy.

I am absolutely floored by that incredible charming sweet quirky one-off Shiro, & his one-off Isao and Tsukasa friends, in the other pictures on the 2nd page... what event was that on Halloween?

(Also, it is always great to see a Yukinojo dressed in a floozy kimono.)

sleep_pattern, many of us have been kind of assuming there will be an SD17 Cecile. I'm realllly hoping for sunlight, as a sunlight SD17 body would be very helpful to me .

The event was actually just a classroom event, but they also seemed to have the lineup of One-Offs. According to the caption on the pic, Isao and Tsukasa came as a set . . . kawaii~

Wow, more pictures of Dahlia! She's gorgeous, but I'm torn between relief and disappointment that she's normal skin. Can't afford her right now anyway, but it would have been awesome to look forward to getting her someday...

Oh gods... I had to sell my Tanpopo a year ago because of dire financial circumstances and I was starting to lose hope I would ever be able to buy her back.... Maybe this is my chance!!

I have never tried to enter a Volks lottery before. How does it work? I have a Volks card from the LA store, but I don't know if there is only going to be one lottery or two for USA and International. Is the lottery entry before or after Dolpa?

Dang, Williams is looking mighty slick...I love his gloves, the velvet, the pin, the auburn hair, his face-up and of course his gorgeous face, boots, you name it (he looks well monied ). He is total perfection. Be still my rapidly beating heart! I think it's getting hot in here:O...I need air.

The Black Label outfit for SD10 boys kills me. So want it . . . my SD10 boy so wouldn't want to wear it.

I do not hold the actual hope that any Reisner/Williams owners will be selling off those boots separately, but a boot fetishist can dream. I mean, a girl can dream.

 

I dont know how I am going to afford it all. There are so many outfits I want, and I simply must have Williams and YoSd Boy!!!! I have to start saving now!!!!!!

Since I adopted SD16 Yukinojo as my 5th and last resin doll last month, I would be devastated if Reisner is being offered for adoption in this dolpa. I’ve been waiting for either Reisner or Yukinojo for years. Now that Yukinojo has been adopted as my last doll, it means Reisner is out of the picture. However, if he had been released in this dolpa, I would suffer sleepless nights. I cannot imagine coughing out money for Reisner after coughing out money for Yukinojo. Williams is all divine but fortunately I was never a Williams fan. So, I’m really at peace during this time!

I hadn't seen a DD I really vibed onto until now. Lily is lovely! Than there are the YOs. I always on the YOs. Thank goodness about Daria(Dahlia) though. She's undoubtedly lovely, but she's so much older in the face than I usually go for. I like them super cute or super adult. She's in that inbetween. Not for me! But I wouldn't mind seeing her in person. She's a stunning sculpt.

 

I must not look at the outfits...must not...I am already going to be pushing it if I MAGICALLY get Lily. oTL *Avoids, avoids, avoids*

 

That is why I have stayed away from the boys. I am already a hoarder of the Volks girls. I absolutely love Reisner and Shirou so I know I cannot even think of just getting one so I better stay away from the whole lot.
The outfits are killing me. I want them all. But I need to contain myself. Another Reisner release so Luna must not be far behind.

 

Oh, I love Alna and two or three of the DD fashions. Will I actually get an Alna finally?

 

Alna's awesome. I don't have any DDs but I love all three Harajuku girls. I'm not that keen on her outfit for this one, but the two casual outfits for her are really cute. And some of the other DD outfits are super cute, too. Too bad they wouldn't fit my SD13 girl *sigh*.

 

This is the first time I'm trying for LE from volks so can anyone please tell me about when usually they open the lottery
and if it's open for international??

Daria is gorgeous, but I've sworn off SD16 girls! Thankfully, I'm also safe from the outfits. Looks like I have some time to save up for a Luna re-release!

 

Someone on Volks' staff (with good reason) must love Williams to offer the SD17 ver. again! Congrats to those who have been dreaming of him and will now be able to try again!

If I weren't being such a doll pig with a few already on order I might let myself fall in love with Daria...she has such a precious mature look to her, doesn't she? And those shoes, eee! Someday...

That is what I was thinking. So many Williams releases! One can collect Williams only and have a full house. I hope everybody who wants one gets him. I am going to try for Daria, who is pure love.

 

I'm wishing I had the money for Daria myself, however I love Alna too so it makes sense to buy the cheaper one. (And I just keep reminding myself what I don't like about the SD16 body having seen it in real life)

 

Second thought, I love the outfits but I think I will have to do the same as you ^___^ I love Luna!

 

So I was looking at the angelden.net website about previously released SD16 girls... They come with extra legs right? Does that mean that Daria will have a set of legs with normal feet and a set of legs with high heel feet and no joint? Would the normal legs have a SD13 size foot?

(sorry if this is not the place to post this I am trying, I swear!)

 

The SD16 girls have all come with the flat foot parts. They can wear SD sized shoes on their flat feet. Volks SD and SD13 girls have the exact same feet. The SD16 flat foot is the same size if a little more slender.

 

SD16 girls come with two types of calves-jointed and a non-jointed high heeled one. My friend tried SD10/13 shoes on her girl and found they fit:

I was also looking at the Daria pictures and it looks to me that her elbow is double jointed! Are all SD16's elbow's double jointed or is this a new type of body that they are releasing for this Dolpa? So coooool!

edit: I just realized the the Queen of hearts also has these type of elbows so I answered my own question there
