WOW! So soon? Already? Fingers crossed that they won't release anything I will actually want! Those damn Volks - always stealing my money XD~

It seems like the spokes-girls for this event are DD Natsuki and Moe (and I've spotted Alna as well)! I think this may be a DD-centric Dolpa, which suits me just fine! I'm hoping for plenty of SD/DD outfits as well, Rikka_Mika!

Hey, just a general question, more towards the NYC events, but how old do you have to be to go?
Like the min age? I have a little sister who is thinking of going to the next NYC Dolpa, but she's 10 now.

 

ANY AGE I saw a few kids there.

 

I'm kinda crossing my fingers for no limited DDs that I might need x_x I am beyond broke.

 

A new Yo would be great!!~ But I wouldn't say no to a new SD13 girl either

 

I can't wait to see what they have to offer us this time. I wonder when the cell picture's go out?

My money's on SDC and/or SD13 Girl. They're the only sizes we haven't had this year. There's been Yo's, one MSD, two SD10 girls, an SD13 boy, an SDGr boy, an SD16 girl, an SD17 boy and a couple different tenshi. It's been well over a year though since Volks has done an SDC or SD13 girl release.

I would loooooove a new, super ruffly BtSSB Luna.

Edit: Just remembered Luna's not SD13. Damn. Although, I wouldn't mind an SD13 Luna. >_>

 

This is totally contrary to my usual (all girls) but I really hope there's a new SDGr or SD17 boy ...

I have to agree with everyone else, this looks like a DD-centric Dolpa! With the Dollfie Dream Anniversary Climax, it looks like they'll be releasing the resin cast Dollfie Dream one-off, along with some original goods and the DD gashapon.
I am excited, but I hope Volks doesn't tempt me too badly because I've already caved and bought Mire. XD

The first or second dolpa posted an age of 12. Hadn't seen an age posted for Dolpa NY4 . I brought my daughter this year and she was 12. She went as a member though and not a guest. I had checked with Volks before hand they were ok with it since she was pretty behaved at the store when we visited this same year. I think it's best to ask Volks directly if they have an age limit. Also guests technically need ID so you would have to let Volks know if she is under age and without id before hand so they can make a note of it. I brought my daughter's passport as ID. (Also there is no kids discount on admission so you have to pay for them as full price guest or as member, the as a member then causes issues dealing with having a different billing person than the attending person)

Just because there were kids there I wouldn't say it was all ages as some kids seem younger because of short height. It's also a pretty long event and some kids don't have the patience for it.

As I am tring to create a cute-girl-paradise over here anything cute-looking in SD10-SD16 size will be more than tempting XD

Damn. One part of me is hoping for new SD17/SDgr boys, the other part is hoping they release nothing that I fancy. Im very broke now after paying for my FCS and a seperate SD17 bod. But like what Sadomina and Timid say, I doubt I can resist a Heath!

 

I wonder if they'll be releasing a DD from the contest that was on the Japanese site. That would be interesting to see.

 

If they were to release an SD17 Heath I would be doomed. He is my favorite Volks Boy and the SD17 Body is to die for. Fingers crossed. I will also be hoping for a sunlight skinned SD17/16 boy which has become my custom for every Dolpa!

 

Heath is also my favorite boy. Although I currently do not collect boys I can see him being the one boy I would have. I would prefer him in SD-13 size. I have also seen on flickr a gorgeous Heath girl.

 

Oh yay! I like the idea of a DD-centric Dolpa, I have two resin girls that can wear DD clothes and DD's always get the cutest/sexiest styles IMHO.

Looking forward to seeing what resin dolls they release too though! A Jun Tachibana or Tsukasa rerelease would be ten kinds of awesome. They are both well loved molds that are quite pricey now and I find it sad (and strange!) that they haven't released them again in all these years. Not to mention that we could really use an SD13 release! ^_~

 

If its a DD centered dolpa then I should be safe doll wise. But Im still saving my monies anyway. XD

I do hope its a SD13 girl released this time! It would be just wonderful if I could add someone new to my collection.

 

To me it seems like the DP will be DD Centered (which is good for me) but I do not think the one off will be Resin Cast (I do not read that part being mentioned under the description of the DD one Off. the face up will be specially done with special One off outfit. I am pretty sure they will remain vinyl DD)

 

I have my fingers crossed that it will be a DD only event. I am too broke for anymore dolls. I am still wishing for a Luna re-release but not until next year so my wallet can recover from Lieselotte.

 

When Volks made their first DD One-Off several years back, it was a resin cast instead vinyl. So it is assumed for this Dolpa, it would be resin as well. Hopefully it'll be clarified on the website as updates come in.

 

DD Anniversary Climax...OMG! I am in so much trouble....

 

Oh I'm torn...part of me wishing for Ruby to be re-released of course , but a strong jawed male SD17 in sunlight or ebony skintone would be very tempting too! Be please NOT both together, because I seriously doubt I could afford to purchase both, nor choose between them. It's sort of torturous fun to speculate on what Volks will surprise us with at these Dolpas isn't it?

Oh, there'll be SDs, I guarantee it. It's just that it's the 7th anniversary of DDs and they're having some extra DD event stuff going on within the Dolpa. The page doesn't have much detail up yet at all - it's still early.

Oh no! I've only just started to recover from getting my Lieselotte! I just know I'll be adding on to my wishlist this Dolpa!!

I like that the DDs are getting special attention at this event. I hope they release adorable SDs AND DDs!!!

 

I know exactly how you feel Cammy. I should have Lieselotte paid off next month but still I am hoping there isn't anyone I like too too much.

 

I am hoping for lovely outfits for my new Volks girls I received in October. I cannot wait to see what they come out with!

 

Looking forward to seeing what new DDs will be coming out for this Dolpa. It would be nice to see them re-release Mirai and Candy.

 

I think they're putting the cellphone pics out today, so hopefully we'll know who the LEs are pretty quick.
