Young Ensign looks to me like SD17 Williams given SD13 Williams' look, too. I'm waiting for more pics . . . I still haven't decided if SD17 would qualify as my grail doll or if it has to be SD13 . . .

 

Really? I guess it is hard for me to tell from the pics. I can kinda see it in her lips for sure. I love the doe-eyed girls, maybe her smaller eyes threw me off. I will have to wait for bigger pictures, she might end up being right up my alley!

 

carmen171 you are lucky to have both the SD13 and SD17 of Williams! I'm going to try for this SD17 of him but he's going to be taller than my Scarface Cecile so I guess the captain will just have to look up a little when talking lol!

 

I think I'm safe from this dollpa! None of the dolls interest me, luckily~ I am a bit disappointed with the DD selection, as I was hoping to save for one since I actually should have some spare cash for this dollpa..

 

WingedGoddess, I hope that's the case with his cheeks because I love the ever slightly chubbier cheeked look myself as that's just so terribly cute to me and it's one of the reasons I love Souji so much besides his adorable expression. I see William's cheeks aren't overly pudgy but just enough so that it creates a more youthful look; I guess I'll see for sure in person if I do get lucky and/or through other winner's pics. If I do finally get this dashingly handsome boy, I'll have to get a whole new wardrobe just to fit him but I won't mind that one bit!

I think it's the lips and the overall soft look. SD16 Kira had quite a soft, doe-eyed look; maybe Dariya will, too?

ETA: That's an SD16 Ami One-Off from a recent Akihabara event. Lower down there's a fairly amazing Yukinojo (!) One-Off, too .

Isenn: Like Algesiras guessed, he's a Yukinojo. The photos at the bottom all look like one-offs from an event. I think someone mentioned a page or two ago which Volks event it was.

Welp, gonna try and get together Williams money, we'll see how it goes. The girlfriend and I have been regretting not getting him since his original release. Man, I love our Lucas, but I wish we'd put off on him just a little longer.

How nice of Volks to give Williams a proper rerelease, he seems very in-demand, and the last two releases were rather exclusive. xD And the SD16 girl looks gorgeous! But on some irrational level I am annoyed by all the amazing SD16 girls we have been getting, I want that sort of pretty in SD13 size! ;_;

I'm underwhelmed by the DD's (a rerelease of a recent doll, and one that will cost a fortune?), though I do like them.

Can't wait to see the clothes!

 

I absolutely concur with everything you just wrote Dolly except I'm pretty unfamiliar with DD dolls...I've seen quite a few that were super cute though! I had a feeling Volks would re-release Williams again because as you mention, the two events where he was released were ones you had to attend the event and they were very limited in number. I'm just SO very pleased they are giving others a chance at this lottery

I am a little confused.(Originally I though Lieselotte more mature.)The new SD-16 girl looked like a new mold to me with that face up but when I look at the #3 nanasi post the bottom photo looks like Madoka but the new photo does not. Is it possible she is just a repaint? If you click on the photo you can see both molds together. The eyes looks the same and why would they have both together if they were not the same doll. Can anyone translate. I love her in the new photo but I dont have room for SD-16 girl or I would have a Ami. I love her smile.
I am wishing for my best friend Roweena to get her Wilimams. She has been wishing for him since I met her. It has been a while.
I am safe since I just bought Lieselotte. I am waiting for Luna. I will not buy another doll until Luna comes home.

Someone photoshopped the pic of Daria with Madoka since I assume they think they look similar. But the faces are pretty different. The nose and mouth are completely different.

 

That picture is comparing her to a Madoka, I believe. It says the bottom picture is taken from Mandarake.

Oh no, Dahlia is even prettier than I thought ;_;. I think I'd like her better in the 10/13 range though. I'm hoping she'll be part of the Maiden's Promise series! It's my favorite and we haven't had a new doll in that series since Eden. The outfit looks like it could go with that series. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I was wondering how can a face up make a doll look so different especially the mouth. I like the new girls face up style and looking at the photos of her alone I can see how her mouth might resemble Lieselotte.

Dahlia definitely reminds me of another doll, but I can't think of which one it is. She doesn't look like Madoka or Lieselotte to me, but maybe I'm not looking at her in the right way. In any case, I love how gentle, calm, elegant, and mature she looks! She looks like a very kind older sister.

 

Ok I will send you few. And your right about her looking similar to someone else. She kind of reminds me of SDG Elena mostly.

Thank you!!! I think the spacing of her eyes remind me of Rinon (love!), and her eyes and lips remind me of Elena. Dahlia will fit in perfectly with the other Maiden's Promise dolls!!!

Dahlia looks very beautiful, but if a certain "SD16 Hoarder" gives into her charms, I won't have to and I might still at least get to pay homage to her in person now and then. My piggybank's relieved, and I sort of am as well.

She looks so amazing! And I do believe she is a new sculpt, and I hope that she is a white-skin doll as I believe her to be. I deifnitely like the dark hair with light eyes and skin combination! Dahlia has a look similar to Madoka/Shizu, so I think that fans of that mold will also welcome this new girl.

You have a very good eye and memory of Volks molds, since I do think that is Shirou as well! He looks so elaborate and wonderful as that one-off!

It was confirmed by several members that the blonde one-off is a SD16 Yukinojo.

 

My first thought seeing the guidebook cover was "oh, *bleep*". I don't think I can NOT try for that boy.

Oh, man, now I'm Japan-sick. I've been to every Tokyo Dolpa since 19 . . . I knew I'd hate not being able to go to this one. Oh, well.
