Those are 18/9mm Mystics. I like Mystics for their iris size for mature dolls as well as the quality. Unfortunately ordering periods are few and far between *sigh*.

So I did take pictures of the Daria on SD10, SDGr, and SD17. They're not the best pics- but the show it well enough. My kitten kept trying to knock down the foam core we were photographing against and the light was sadly lacking...

I will say though SD10 DOES NOT WORK. Please no one try it- it will make me cry LOL. While some big headed Volks can still get away on the body, Daria's head is simply far too tall for the SD10 and it looks rather alien. It was a catastrophe. (no pun intended). Due to the angle of the photo it actually looks better in the photo than in person. In person it is, in my opinion, all sorts of bobble headed awkwardness.

SDGr is the best match over all for the head- and so possibly SD13 could work, if it's a body you prefer. But it sat well on the neck and worked proportion wise overall.
I'm sorry this picture is so blown out, but over all it was the best body.

The head can work on SD17 (as it is a larger head)- but the neck looks thick, so that would have to be a style choice you're alright with. Thicker necks tend to be one of those things people are either one way or another about.
And last but not least and slightly thrown off buy the huge Volks shoes...

Daria does have a very 'soft' face feature wise, but she could make a more 'princely' boy with the right make up.
There is your making Daria a man evaluation lol.

 

I am so glad it doesnt work because I was seriously starting to want Daria. I dont do SD-16 so I can cross her off my list but wow is she gorgeous!

 

I know!!! I have been wanting Mystics for quite some time now...

 

Bloodycrow has a Daria boy~ ^^ Looks okay to me, but not my fave sculpt to be made into a boy... I like Amelia and Olivia better.

 

Speaking of girls into boys...I so so so want a Pearl boy. Can I haz?? Can I???
