If I win she would be my first DD DDP is such a perfect size for me, not too big and not too small ,although I like small dolls I prefer them a little more mature !

Do you also know how many dolls are offered for each of them ? good luck to both of us!

There is only one of each doll. That's how Dcoords are handled when offered in this manner.

i am definitely disappointed, but also glad because a member of the doll community will get to cherish her instead of a scalper or other shady person winning!

That's amazing!! I hope you're having so much fun with him, share pictures when you can! it's weird that Volks hasn't released the boy bodies for sale like they did with the DDP body. When they do I want to have one getting one through lottery seems like a dream for me LOL

 

@Arletstar i wonder why they haven’t released the boy bodies separately too! the demand is definitely there! i’m even planning on sharing len’s body with other heads!

the skeptic in me wants to think that it is because it might reduce the demand for licensed fullset boy dolls.

but i hope they decide to make it a non limited option!

Hey everyone I saw a volks DD snow miku today for $300 aud new in box. Just wondering if this is a good price and if anyone knows anything out her body and pose-ability? Thanks in advance.

 

Is it for a full set or body only? Fullset for $300 sound like the fake that been going around. I would suggest ask for lots of pictures and ask for copy of original receipt just in case.

 

That is incredibly cheap. 'Snow Miku' is recast. I believe that is what you are looking at. Please do not purchase it.

 

Yeah its from a collectables store here in Australia however I also think its 100% recast so I will not be buying! Thanks for the advice, I've only just started collecting and I'd hate to end up with a recast.

 

Hi thanks for the quick reply the price includes the full body, outfit, wig and eyes. The item is brand new in box from a store here in Australia. I believe it to be a recast having done a bit of research now so I wont be purchasing the doll. I would rather save up for a legit.

 

Please let the store know that it is a counterfeit. They may not know. I assume it's not legal for a company to sell a counterfeit item in Australia.

 

is it possible to take pictures and show us? the recast DD Miku is so easy to spot, and we can tell you if it is recast or not .I have seen people who got legit dolls from stores for cheap so this could be the case too .Does it come with the Volks box ?

Which store? I just can't imagine one here. I was very surprised to see Zing around selling over-priced Funko's and scales, a shop selling BJD stuff would be awesome.

Although people will try anything on, I wouldn't expect a storefront to knowingly sell fakes at such a high pricepoint, too easy for them to get in trouble.

 

Here is Mercury's page, just log in, add her to your cart, and check out following the instructions on this page. Please note that every lottery entry must be a separate order. Also, you're on a time limit; the lottery periods ends at 24:00 today, JST.

If you don't have a Volks, Int account, though, you might be out of luck... It takes a while for them to confirm your account, and you might miss the window. But I would make an account ASAP and cross your fingers!

 

Here is a link to all lottery items in English.
Just press the "Enter" button under the item you wish to enter, and then follow the instructions to the very end. (Most time you will need just press the red button to confirm/continue to the next page, and only once you well need to select payment type as "other" for PayPal as overseas customer.) I've been saving up to purchase a Dollfie Dream for the past few months now, currently I'm waffling between whether I'd like to purchase Shijou Takane or Kisaragi Chihaya first. Takane is actually my favorite of the 765 Pro girls but I think I prefer Chihaya's face-sculpt as it's a bit younger and more cheerful looking than Takane's. I've even seen some pictures of Chihaya dressed up as Takane that I really like the look of. On the flip side, Takane is really elegant looking and her semi-white skin gives her this quality of ethereal beauty that I'm drawn toward in dolls. The decision is ultimately mine alone to make, but, I'd also love to hear some opinions from owners of either doll.

I entered for each of the school outfits for my doll, and I won both of them so I feel happy, but now I am confused

How do I proceed after getting the winning email?

I know Im not supposed to respond to the winning notice email because it says at the top do not respond to the email

I should email the SHOPOS email listed in the account as "paypal account destination" with my paypal address and winning entries ?

1)) Also, do I email the mentioned email like this with all the items I won combined in one email?

@GreenTeaSlug Yes, you should email your paypal address to the Shopos email. What I did was forward (by hitting the forward instead of reply button) my winning email to the Shopos address. I only put in for one item, but what I heard other people did who won multiple stuff was to send in a response for each separate email.

 

It's definitely confusing with the new system, at least until we're more familiar with it. I won multiple items and I replied to the [email protected] address with a single email and listed them all out.

 

Congrats to all winners! I've got both girls, so they won't be separated!!!
And I've decided to send separate emails, one for each item has been won, just for peace of mind.

I emailed the shopos email account, and forwarded the winning email with my paypal details as @Cloudedmind did, it seemed to be the most thing that makes sense to me and makes me worry less.

I guess for me, I think sending an individual email is better than combined because I remember when I buyed a doll from them and asked if I could combine it with the FCS handbook and they told me they do not do combined shipping, that their shipping is based on the items in the order only with an apology. Seemed like its still the same, so I didnt bother with doing a combined shipping request this time around lol, didnt want to make the person handling it stress about combining orders XD

I do not have a dollfie dream yet, the clothes are going to be for my coming DD, the 2B head on a DDS body

I got and paid for the Mars and Mercury school uniforms
they sent them in separate invoices with their own shipping charges so I guess they will be sent individually.

@MilkyTea I hope it is okay to ask, but you were the only one I found here that sent them a new email with a list of the won items in one email.
Did they send you a combined invoice + combined shipping?
Or did they send you multiple invoices for each item + each items shipping?

They sent me individual invoices for each item with separate shipping. (All that shipping... XD So much!)

Combined shipping may now be the elusive unicorn with the new Volks International system.

 

I've also gotten my invoice, and paid for my Mercury. Now to just wait for a shipping notification. Lets see how long that takes. :P

 

those of you who have gotten invoices for lottery items: have any of you also gotten invoices for normal items yet? i ordered a bunch of stuff (some after event, some otherwise) when the dolpa 40 after event launched, and still haven’t been sent an invoice!

 

I'm a confused newbie with DD sizes. I pre-ordered 2B, but it's a long wait. it might be fun to buy some clothes for her in the meantime. But, what the heck can a DDdy wear? other than items marked specifically for it. for example, outfits will be marked on Volks store as fitting SDGr, SD16, DD, DDdy. somehow that doesn't seem right, especially for fitted clothing. since I've never even held a DD of any kind, I can't visualize what will fit. I imagine some of my 60cm clothes would work. It's tough having to wait!
Any information or pics would really help - and make the time pass a bit faster.

(I don't have any Volks girls. Just boys!)

@petiteballerine looks like we are both starting the dollfie dream hobby with the same doll Shes very beautiful! Are you keeping her in character or changing her?

Ive seen DDdy in person and she wears the SD/13/16 clothes fine and some SDgrB/G clothes. I was shocked because the body is very curvy with a big chest but some sd16 clothes were loose even! I noticed that she has a small ribcage/back/shoulders so even though the clothes look like it mgiht be tight, it ends up loose on the body

In the meantime, Im sure you read this before, but you have to get a stain body suit and a fabric wig cap because some may stain the doll and shes more stain prone than the resin dolls

 

@GreenTeaSlug - that's very good news about sd13/16 etc clothes fitting. I have oodles of slim sd13 size dresses from 2004 onward. I used to sew a lot too.
I hope she'll pose a bit in her gaming gear, but I'd like to change her style now & then. Right - must be sure to protect the vinyl. It is a nightmare to remove stains.
I fell in love with her face. Only about 9 months to go!

 

I have one DD and one Azone the same size as the new Nier: Automata 2B and 9S. I think the dolls are similar in general structure to the Granado Vinyl dolls, but I don't know for sure as I don't have a vinyl Granado. But they both have the basic frame, and outer "skin" and look to have the same basic functions.

Anyhow, the Nier dolls have a new frame the DDf3, but the skins look the same as the older DD dolls, except the heads. To be honest I'm not sure how the the SD 13/16 clothing will fit. I have Volks boys In various sizes and Shiratori (SD10). My DDdy and Azone have very small waists and huge chests. I don't think the even Volks Oscar is that curvy.....boy, would I love to have her. I would love the option of having Volks 13/16 etc fit!! (I never leave the clothing on the DD/Azone for fear of stains. (I wonder if the Nier will come with the body suits, too.)

 

I'm anxiously waiting on 2B to release in fall, but I just noticed MyFigureCollection has a listing for a DD Sakura Miku. My wallet is in trouble uwu. I've been keeping my fingers crossed for a Sakura version since they released Snow Miku.

 

Any DD wins for VolksUSA here? I managed to win both uniforms with the hope that, in the near future, I will get a chance to purchase Ami and Rei.

As for Volks International... I am still waiting for the notification that Usagi's uniform has been shipped.
