Ashbet, great wig indeed! I've seen Psyche working it on your Flickr page, and she looked stunning, very-very chic hairstyle ) Besides, I've got a chance to see your another beauty with a rare name Amaranth, blackhaired L-bi, and I hope you'll put her pic here.

Schtiel, as far as I know know from the Noppin schedule, lottery and preorder for Unoa boys are rarer than girls ones. But I guess they don't follow each and every Araki cast, so maybe it is only their preference to sell girls more often. The difference in prices is not major in fact, Noppin takes a commission fee for their service, but it rather reasonable. For example, for me (I'm from Russia) Noppin preorders are the one and only chance to get a new kit, as I can't buy it directly from the AL webshop.
I hope you'll find your grail Unoa soon, L-bies are really amazing and very easy in creating different looks and styles. Good luck!

Thanks for the info! Good to know that Noppin really isn't a huge price difference, because it'll be so much easier than dealing with a bidding service or a shopping service.

Strangely enough, just after I had posted here about rarely ever seeing L-bis on the MP, I saw one up for sale! And with exactly the face up style I had been planning. He's shipping to me on Monday now, maybe this was fate? haha :'> I hope I'm able to post pictures here too, soon.

I would like to add my own Unoa family here.
I had taken a pic of all my Unoa together but have since received another Zero on Friday so need to take a new group pic soon, and when my faceplates return home

Jo_H, I love seeing that Unoa Elder there! I'd like to see more pictures of her with the 1.5 since I can't yet grasp her scale.

 

As far as I understand it, no, they don't come with hands, I think. I bought an extra pair of hands on the side just in case, because of the resin color change.

The 1.5 elbows have already made a hole in a sweater, so I'm not a fan of them, either, despite their poseability.

 

I had some fun taking portraits of Eleanor (Lusis by Ravendolls) in the last golden rays of sunset tonight . . .



I also had some DIY fun with her outfit -- I made the necklace out of vintage charms, and I tea-dyed her (originally bright white) top to better match her style and color scheme.

Sewaddictd wig, ED eyes, Brennil top, Mio jeans, Nine9Style boots ^__^

It's been a while since Eleanor had a turn on a body, and I'm really happy to have her out and about!

I think Eleanor looks absolutely beautiful! I love the way you have dyed her wig - so pretty.
I would love to get hold of some of those Mio jeans one day, I dont have any jeans to fit my girls, they are in jeggings as I find it much easier to sit them down without builder's bum hehe

 

Hey there everyone!

I have a quick question for you all (that I'm sure has been asked a million times already, so apologies for me being annoying).
Regarding the Fairy skin tones, was this a one time limited run, or will they pop up again at some point? Or... is it totally unknown?

I started my dolly life with a Lusis. She was my first doll ever, back in 2009, but a lot happened financially and I had to part with her.
Now, in 2011, I have a Lusis/Sist (2 stunning faceplates by Freddy Tan on the one doll) on layaway and I am impatiently waiting to get the money to pay her off and get her home.
I also have an Ange on the way (though I spent a small fortune on her on very much a whim, and have no idea if I'll be able to keep her due to crazy vet bills! We'll see if her stunning face steals my soul in person ).
I desperately want to get a Fairy skin Lusis to complete my Unoa family, but I have no idea whether I should be keeping my eyes on the 2nd hand market, or whether I can wait until next year, save up money in preparation, and join the lottery for her.

Would be great if someone could answer my query, even if the answer is, "Araki-sensei is Araki-sensei.... who knows" xD

Ashbet, dear, Eleanor looks fantastic! Such a light and ethereal girl, looks like a wood elf.

Midnitestar7, I've seen one or two whiteskinned Unoas on the second hand market, but they're extremely expensive of course. As far as I know, there was a line of Unoas with white skin many years ago, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait too long for the re-release.

I recently got a unoa with both Sist and Lusis faceplates... I did their faceups yesterday and the day before... I wanna get out and take good photos, but it's too friggin hot! >_< I need to push myself to do it! haha. They're both kind of.... intense... well from what I've seen of most people's unoas. >_>

 

I took some photos of my Sist before the sun set. Isn't she gorgeous? I have pics of the Lusis plate on my flickr too.
