Luts SSDF almost shares the same size with US 70 SW1 body.

 

I totally fell in love with Huayue and Blue Wolf in NewClover-Singing`s shop. Does anyone know if you can order them in light tan skin? Thanks :-)

While I’m here…I wanted to buy my first Universe Doll and I’ve seen some people mention a 50% sale a few times. Is it a yearly occurrence or was it just a lucky thing that happens once in a while? I know they have other sales so that’s ok if it’s not.

Also, I think I’d want to go with Pink Skin. It seems pretty neutral from what I’ve seen here. Can anyone confirm that? I don’t want an intense pink color.

 

As far as I know, it was a one-time thing. I managed to snag three dolls during that sale :3

It’s not an intense pink- just pink undertone. I think in pictures he’s pale but not white /threads/universe-doll-yuyuan-and-lu-zimo.847909/

Thank you! I did see your pictures and that’s a beautiful boy (and faceup)! I’m trying to get a similar color to another pink I have (Telesthesia, also a neutral, pale skintone). Seems close enough. The Yellow looks too dark I think.

Oh is there a big difference between the SW2 and SW3 bodies in terms of posability in the chest area?

 

@maple.honey The yellow is actually not that dark at all. I have Steward Snake in yellow with SW2 body.

Crossing my fingers that someone can help me out - does anyone know if LegendDoll and Stacy's Pink Ocean are the only remaining dealers for UniverseDoll? Christina confirmed for me today that Clover-Singing is no longer listing the company, and I can't create a Taobao account to order direct, but the UD listings from the two current dealers seem really pricy in comparison to placing an order through an agent...

 

I ended up using Bhiner (Taobao agent) to buy from Universe Doll years ago because Taobao intimidated me. They even have a BJD section, so they are used to dealing with dolls, cosplay, etc. I think that is your best bet. Bhiner has significant shipping discounts too.

 

Thanks! I've used Bhiner in the past and actually intended to this time around, but when I didn't see this particular sculpt in their version of the Universe Doll storefront I got concerned as to whether they'd also stopped selling. I'll reach out and see what they have to say!

 

You can copy and paste the direct Taobao link into Bhiner and order the product that way. You don't have to search through Bhiner. Just in case you didn't know.

 

Does anyone know why Clover-Singing has stopped being a dealer for Universe doll?

 

I didn’t know they stopped selling UD I purchased a 1/4 body from Christina just last Oct/ Nov.

 

From the email Christina sent me:

1. i'm very sorry, we ended the listings of US-DOLL, it is not popular in our nation and the doll box is too big.
2. US-DOLL doesn't sell the doll head separately

Thank you for finding out more @kaitan That is unfortunate UD is not popular enough to keep on Clover. But at least Bhiner is an option.

 

@kaitan: thanks for finding out the reason and letting us know. That is a bummer. I guess I will have to purchase from Legenddoll in the future.

Christina/New Clover Singing is carrying Universe Doll again!

You can purchase White Fox SP and Blue Wolf SP in the limited tan color, but she is able to get the other dolls (but not in the tans as the tans are only limited to the aforementioned SP sculpts).

I have a question about the 75 body does it come with extra private parts ? And how long does it take for the body to be shipped?

I think at some point, I will take advantage of Legenddoll being willing to sell you only a head and putting the body up for sale as in stock, for a human De'Ath. I think that frail little DFH 72cm body would look just right for something I have pictured.

 

Oh is Clover Singing selling US Doll again? If so, I might have to take advantage of that!

Finally sending my Shiyu for faceup/blushing (it was so hard to choose which hands to send along with him; he has so many).

 

Miss my UD buddies, where are we all?

I got measurements from my Shiyu this morning (for Stacy's Pink Ocean custom tailored outfits). I might pack him up today for his upcoming appointment with Angel Toast, although his arrival time needs to be in June.

I'd love to add another UD doll to my crew in future, just can't settle on whom. I'll keep checking and probably wait until UD's winter sale period.

Shiyu should be all done and on his way home by late summer, so I'll have him fully painted and dressed and all for autumn/winter (favorite seasons)!
