    1. Just for the record...
      "SQUEE!"

      I'm still mentally hugging everyone for such a fun day out! My sad little 'Rose' absolutely did me proud, and I think I'm the most chuffediest gal in Watford right now. I still can't quite believe it... and it wasn't luck, it was peer votes!
      I'm just made up!

      I've met some truly wonderful, selfless and fun new friends this weekend - it was food for the soul! - and I'm so pleased we helped to raise so much!

      Well done again to you, Mau. And to Suvi, Crowbar, Candy Kitten, Mich, Foolbot and anyone else involved in the organisation of Saturday. It was spot on and smooth as silk!

      I do have a load of pictures on my phone (although, like a dim-wit, none of my own dolls/entries, as I discovered today when my friend wanted to see what I'd done to win. Doh!). But I may not get a chance to upload for a few days.
      I have to now prepare for a pirate appearance at a xmas fete on Saturday, swiftly followed by my 40th on Sunday (the big four uh-oh!). As you can imagine, I'm currently very disorganised regarding anything that hasn't been doll related for the last couple of weeks. But I'll uplpoad and update after that for sure! I just have to step away from the spare room for a week otherwise the distraction will be too great! It seriously looks like a dolly-bomb exploded in there at the moment! ...love it! :)

      So until next week when my life 'begins' (but hopefully sooner to see pics as they appear), thank you all - I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

    2. She was beautiful, dim-wit. ^_^ A well deserved win for sure. Happy birthday for next week and many happy returns. <3 Your Jewel was awesome to see - he's so pretty. <3 Blue faceups are the best.

      Sorry that I was a bit late to the meeting table (darn tubes or lack thereof), but I had a blast meeting everyone on Saturday. It was a wonderful day and thanks to all those involved for making it so. ^_^

      The only problem was the balloons, or more the frequency of them being stepped on. At least some still survived until the end. XD

    11. Having spent Sunday at a reenactor's market near Coventry, I'm just getting tot he recovery stage now.

      Had a great time at the meet, but didn't take nearly enough pictures.

      Given my previous track records, however, just having the camera with me and taking some pictures is a triumph in it's own right.

    14. Just to let you know that we raised £275 for Cancer Research UK. That is a wonderful amount. Thank you all so much for supporting our event. I know a number of us have personal reasons why it was important to support this charity this year. We all did a stirling job. Yay!

    15. We are hoping to stage our third Midwinter Ball in 2012. In order to help us get it right, we would be extremely grateful if you could take a few minutes to tell us what you thought about this one. We need the negative stuff as well as the positive, so that we can change the things that didn't work this time. Also, if you have any imaginative ideas for other things we can do with this, please do share.
