Mine wears 10mm Dollbakery eyes, but I've tried a lot of other Alices Collections 10mm glass eyes and they all fit

 

Just started a layaway on one of the remaining Miningenues from Ldoll, in dark brown. So excited! I really enjoyed handling one a few months ago, great posing and really nice weight to the resin.

Currently there are are also one paper white, one obsidian and two blue Miningenues in stock, all with extra sleeping plates- there were some other colours but they've gone.

I'm having a hard time thinking of how to paint my girl. At least the weather is bad right now, so I don't actually have to worry about it anytime soon.. But also ugh, they're so beautiful 'blank' as well!

 

Anyone know what clothes fit these girls?

Does anyone have any suggestions re: shoe shopping? Earlier someone mentioned Tiny Fairy stilettos, but I'm looking for flats, in a pre-modern style. Do you think TF flats would also fit? I'm looking at these (though I would maybe remove the piece that goes between the toes), or these.

So I finally finished my layaway, and I picked my Minigenue up from the post office this evening! Here's a photo from my tumblr.



Also, I've spoken to Twigling about shoes, and she had some other suggestions- apparently most MSD shoes are too big, but in addition to the Atelier Momoni Unoa 1.5 shoes mentioned upthread, she also recommends the KS-001 and KS-002 official Doll Chateau Kid boots, or these from Dollmore (and possibly others for Dollmore Judith).

Sorry, I couldn't check the shoes before. I tested atelier Momoni for Minifee and they are a little small, maybe forcing them... (and no socks at all). TF Mary Janes are enormous, maybe luts MSD Mary Janes could be acceptable (socks on) if you don't mind that they are a little large (but not so much as TF's). The best ones are the Dollmore pumps (no socks, though). I'll take pictures along the weekend

Thread lurker coming in to drool over your lovelies. I'm trying to save up for a Minigenue. Seeing all of your beautiful ladies is a lovely treat! I fell in love with the beautiful green skin Twigling has available! Although she has one blue doll left, it is hard to decide if I want the blue or if I want to wait until she (if all goes to her plans) opens her online store at the end of April. I am also very appreciative of the size comparison photo, since I will have my Dollshe Fashion Erica Snow home someday (Don't really know the wait timeline with Dollshe).

 

I hope you can get the girl of your dreams, Spectrum_Rhapsody. The green skin looks lovely, but the blue is indeed lovely too

 

I've only just discovered these and I'm in love! I always liked the SD Ingenue but she didn't fit in with my crew, the mini one I could definitely find a space for though... I'll have to be more vigilant!

I m glad this thread exist. Couple of days ago I purchesed one in NSvfrom ebay. I hope she will be here soon. Also I see that people are asking about fitting some clothes. It interests me as well. I have only clothes for mini msds. So when shebis here I ll try.

So my girl arrived today. And she is beautiful. But she even cant stand at all because of knees. And she even cant sit! Because of hips. Did anyone tried to restring minigenue with one string from head to feet? Or will just glue in her hips and knees help?

 

I come to announce that I am joining in the ranks of owners of Minigenue! I put one in caramel skin to layaway, in end of June! I am already so exited, as she and my Freakstyle Salome will be so gorgeous together!

 

Orders for the next batch of Minigenue are currently open!! It'll probably be another year before the next pre-order will come around for these smaller girls so if anyone has been thinking about buying one, now is your chance!!!

Just finished my layaway for a blue one in stock and couldn't resist an ebony dreaming faceplate on the marketplace...

I'd love an obsidian mini, an ebony body and a tan mini piéta... where is that money tree again?

 

Minigenue is gorgeous, I'm so tempted to go in on this pre-order! I was wondering, on the site there are a few color options: cream, pink, brown gray, vivid, teal, and caramel.
Are there any photo references for these colors that I missed? I'm interested in what brown gray looks like; is it more brown or gray? Also not a clue what vivid means.

It is still kind of confusing though.

 

There is also this page on the website, which has resin sample photos: Haru Resin Colours & A.K.t. standards
I think that the first and last photos on that page (the photos above the 'collection of found images for Haru's colours' section) show most of the colours. Further down the page there are also photos of lots of coloured resin sticks; one of the sticks is labelled 'brown grey', so I assume that this is one of the colours on offer.
Vivid is a sort of pale tan colour (it seems that Haru's name for it is 'nanni creamy'), and the brown grey appears to be a warm shade of grey, which looks quite nice in my opinion.

 

Thank you so much @Zaliayn and @shadow_takatori !! Both links are super helpful. It seems like brown gray is more gray than brown and vivid is a pale tan shade between haru's light tan and normal. If I'm reading the charts correctly.
I think I'm leaning towards caramel! Which colors are everyone else getting?

 

If I were able to order now I would get teal. She would be a naiad. But I'm only hopeful I can order someday, so I should not comment further!

I just made an acrylic yarn wig for mine following a YouTube tutorial by Mozekyto. I really love the result.

I finally got my open eye head sent off for face-ups, so in the mean time I'm using the sleepy head to make wigs. Agni's a supermodel, so she needs a few changes of wigs (also her previous one is in shambles as it needs more braids, so I need at least one wig ready for her when she gets home). I'm really really bad at straight cut wigs, but luckily silk rovings like this are easy to cut and shape, and photograph fabulously (I've not edited the white or shine in the photo a single bit).

 

Hello all. I was attempting to look up information on the next Minigenue pre order and every link I click from google says the site is down. Is Artifex Kindred gone now or should I be looking in a different place? Thanks a heap!

 

I know in the past the site has gone down from traffic and would be up the next day. Artifex Kindred is definitely still going. I bet the site will be up again soon. Twigling is active on Facebook and Instagram too.

Wow! A mini Pieta may be available in the future! I'm glad I learned about that with plenty of time to start saving.

 

I'm eagerly awaiting the next preorder for these ladies. My health has been very poor the past year or so, and I was not able to participate in the previous orders, but now things are starting to get a bit better and I expect to have the funds to be able to get a girl the next time around.

 

Has anyone ordered the minipieta?

I chose vivid, it seems to be a very nice rich more realistic color.

 

Pink. Also: I usually decide that after I paint them. They usually tell me who they are then.

 

@seffy_chan Very cool, I do that often as well, but for my minipieta I do have a character in mind. Not sure if it will work, but I have in mind a Chinese swordswoman from "Water Margin" or "Outlaws of the Marsh." I can't wait to see some owner pics of her.

I completely get you!! My Minipieta arrived today after being held for ransom TWICE.... Oh my heart!! She is exquisite, sublime, delicious... just WOW. I've had to tuck her back away for now until I have a little more free time to commence customising her, but I'm in absolute awe at her details!!!

 

@whitewings That sucks, you had to pay fees on her twice?? I hope you will post some pictures when she's ready.

Mine got to New York and seems to be hanging out there for a bit as the tracking hasn't updated. Estimated delivery is Thursday.
