    1. I have in the past gotten zero votes. that really really hurt....admittedly every year I've gotten more, where i think i got 13 this year. it's still heart breaking.

    2. This is true, but hey. I am sure the people who have already gotten prizes also want to see if they did better this year than last year. I am treating these contests as if I am competing with myself, and if I happen to qualify for a prize, then that is good. But I am mainly interested in beating what I did last year.

    3. Congratulations to the winners! :)

      It's always interesting to see what the voters go for. I did okay in the first round of voting, better than I'd ever done really, but dropped off rather abruptly in the second. That was kind of a reverse trend from previous years, usually I started out slow and did better. I think my favorite challenge in the years I've participated was the bookbinding. I went out and bought a book of different techniques and some materials. . . because I want some books for me! ;)

    8. Congrats to the winners :D , and thanks also to Armeleia for running it ! I think it's much better ( and nicer ) , to have all the entries together for the voting and it must make it easier to sort out . The triathlon is run as part of the DOA birthday celebrations each year as fun events for us to take part in , the prizes are a bonus . This the third year I've entered and I always end up with some neat stuff and learn something new each time .

      This was my entry ,my alias was PalominoPrincess . Also thank you to anyone who was mad enough to vote for my entry.

    10. I have to say this edition has been wonderful. Congrats to the winners, congrats to the participants (all entries were breathtaking) and a big CONGRATS to armeleia, I was so shocked to learn she has been organizing this on her own, because it must have been a lot of work! Thank you so much for hosting such an amazing event :)

Ha, I'm glad it went smoothly enough that no one guessed. ;) I think it's important to say that while I ran this event, [MENTION=2110]idrisfynn[/MENTION] was the one who solicited the ~fabulous prizes.~. So a great big thank you to her... And a HUGE thank you to the rest of the mods for their tireless work with prepping for the migration!

      Thanks also to everyone who participated, voted, or observed for their wonderful work and community support. You guys made it very easy and not at all dramatic, and I'm hugely grateful for that. :)

    13. LOL! Thank you so much for that photo Tabitha! My last outfit was made of wire so I had to pose it as well as Umi. SO MANY FACE PLANTS!! I'm very new to the hobby and that photo shoot took hours! Though your lady looks a bit more dignified than mine did :)
