Marianne: Come on you two, aren't you going to run off and play?
Jodi: I wanted to go to the beach!
Sebastian: It's a bit cold for the beach today. Why don't you and Matthew go and see if you can spot some eels.
Matthew: On no, I forgot my I-Spy book!




Sebastian: I'm sure they'll son thaw out with each other.
Marianne: Your Mum seemed really sweet when she brought Jodi to the door.




Sebastian: Marianne, I... I imagine you must be wondering why I never invite you in?
Marianne: Well, yes, I was rather.




Sebastian: Oh sweetheart, it's nothing to do with you, I promise. It's my Dad, it's, well, it's hard to explain but... he's very sarcastic and sort of controlling. I just try to keep out of his way as much as possible. Meeting you is the best thing that's ever happened in my life and I don't want him to spoil things with his mocking comments.




Marianne: Oh Sebastian, how awful for you, but I'm so glad you told me, it's a relief to understand.




Matthew: I'm bored!
Jodi: I know, let's play hide and seek.




Jodi: One, two, three... go on, get hiding!




Jodi: Got you! That was too easy.
Matthew: It's not fair! There's not many places to hide round here.

Matthew: Have you got any Great Aunties?
Jodi: No, have you?
Matthew: I've got two! And when they come to visit I have to kiss them! Ugh!




Sebastian: Come on you two, we're going over to the rocks now.




Sebastian: Hold tight Matthew!




Marianne: Look at those two! I think Matthew's got over his shyness now. Thanks for looking after him Jodi.
Jodi: I'm glad you're Sebastian's girlfriend.
Marianne: Thank you Sweetheart, so am I.




Jodi: I think I can see a cave down there!
Matthew: Maybe there's a monster in it!
Marianne: Oh my God, you two, come away from that edge, you'll give me a heart attack!




Jodi: They're awful fusspots, we weren't going to fall.
Matthew: Let's ask if you can come to my house, then you can see my den in the garden.
Jodi: OK let's.




Marianne: It's been such a lovely day, I feel so happy I could burst!




Sebastian: I love you Marianne
Marianne: Oh Sebastian, I love you too.

@animemom I'm sorry to say I've done nothing this summer as I've been having a bad time, my story at the bottom of this post.

I'm sad that I have stalled with the stories from my Seventies world. This has been such a happy place for me since I started it. But in July my tinnitus, which I've had since 2012 but at a low level which I could ignore, escalated to a distressing level. That screaming high pitched feedback noise inside my head 24/7 plunged me into despair and I have been struggling to cope with life. There is no cure for it, you have to hope and pray it will quieten down and/or you get used to the noise! It's two and a half months now and its still the same, but I am starting to cope a tiny bit better and feel an interest in my dolls again, so am trying to summon up the enthusiasm to carry on with the stories as that may help me. It was nice to come on here and find all the lovely comments, God bless you all.

 

@animemom @mysticaldolldreams Thank you very much my two dear friends All the Doc can do is prescribe anti depressants, which just make me groggy, and have horrible side effects, so I don't take them. There are some good White Noise apps for the phone which help me to sleep. There isn't really anything else anyone can do. It can take a long time, but for many people it does eventually settle down to a manageable level. Hopefully I will be one of those people.
