Tokyo Dolpa 33

Does anybody know if they'll be doing the AE on jp website or US site? I definitely NEED that YoSD Tsukasa ;-;

Unfortunately the two Yo boys aren't for me. XD they're for a friend who's a huge fan of Tsukasa and Shirou. So I don't think I'll be posting photos.

I am a crazy fan of Tokyo Boys too, and I have all the large ones, so I just gotta have these two chibis for my Tokyo Boy Army-- but I do noooooot want to have to chase them down on Y!J and pay those insane prices, so I really hope we get them on the AE. :

Recovering from Dolpa ... Had fun meeting people but just didn't get to talk and socialize to all. Sorry! It's such s crazy day. I have to remember next time to leave big dolls at home. Too heavy.

I did get the little Tsukasa but I fail at being able to figure out how to link photos from their on my phone so check out my photos on Flickr for anyone interested.

I totally agree with you there! I feel like I made a mistake bringing two of my dolls instead of just one. XD; but it was ok. I got to talk to people who noticed either of them. I had really missed talking to people about dolls.

Next time though, I think I'm just going to bring my one big boy. XD; I think he definitely needs to see the doll doctor. It's a real time eater, though!! So next time, it's best to try to be first in line.

It looks like they are having in-store lotteries and some sort of mail order (likely Japan-only). Anyone else have any more insight?

 

Volks told me to just keep checking back on their Facebook and the Newsletter... They haven't announced their plans for us yet.

 

I hope we hear something soon. It would be a shame if half the dolls aren't available for the After Event.

Ugh, no Dollfie Dreams this time around. I was hoping to put my name in for DD Sinon. =/

 

Sinon will be available on the 30th, during the actual after event. this is just a separate lottery for the resin dolls.

Volks News, right before the Dolpa. I posted a picture of the magazine.
The page for the SD Lottery also has this under the picture with Sinon: "Dolls Party 33 Limited DD and pre-sale items are going to be released at After Event on Saturday, May 30th, 2015."

This page shows that the after event will be held on the 30th, and up for lottery are all the DD items (Sinon, the DDS, and the Red Riding Hood outfit). The After Event will also release all the exclusive clothing from the Dolpa.

 

Oh okay... I'm surprised they didn't posted on the international website. Are the DD items exclusively for the Japan AE? I'm kinda skeptical since DD Asuna wasn't released internationally, same goes for most idolm@ster DDs. =/

 

Hmm. I haven't read anything about the girls being Japan-exclusive. And they're still working on the English webpage for the AE, so I guess only time will tell :c I hope they're available for everyone!

 

Yeah, the English page says only "The offer of DD Limited Items and the other items available for pre-sale at Dolls Party is under preparation. Please be patient until our announcement." So it sounds like they have plans, or at least further announcements, for the clothes & the DDs.

For SD16 Ami and Yo-SD Tuskasa & Shiro, the lottery starts tomorrow 5/14....

It is odd that they waited so long after this Dolpa to give out the various AE information, but I guess we just have to wait for the International/USA-specific announcements.

 

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you JennyNemesis! Little Tsukasa and mini Shirou need to join Nemesis Palace for sure. The school uniforms are cute! Here's hoping the little tokyo boys can acquire there cool duds like the original big boys! I can already imagine Shiro in his little Moto Jacket and engineer boots, and Tsukasa with his flamed visor, back pack, and baggy trousers. Oh nostalgia!

 

Thanks! I put in my lottery entries the other day, for both of them... here's hoping! The Volks Faeries have heretofore been pretty good about making sure that Tokyo Boys end up here where they belong, so I hope my luck with them holds.

I WISH they'd make those original outfits; Chibi Shiro totally needs that jacket and those boots.... But until that day, I guess they'll both be wearing secondhand Ken clothes until I can find some proper leather. ^^

I haven't heard anything. I entered for Ami Ayase. I'm hoping that there is just a delay in the results. There is a note on the schedule of the lottery page that reads "there is the possibility that this schedule may change in the future". so maybe there is that possibility. - Barb

It has been mysteriously silent on all 3 dolls on lottery.

 

We are already starting to think that maybe there were so few dolls and all of them went straight to Y!J?

 

But there are very very few Amis on yj! as well. I'm totally baffled.

I think Ami is one of those dolls that brings everyone out to try for her. I got the impression she went really fast at Dollpa, and that she had A Lot of people applying for her. The numbers were just incredible! Congratulations to anyone who got a hit this round, and my sympathies for those of us who missed out. Wah! Maybe some day in the future, Ami...!

 

Man, I had a total of three entries in for Ami and two for Tsukasa Konoe. I find it highly strange we haven't heard a peep of anyone winning.

Are we really that low of stock on dolls, or is Volks just delayed a little more than usual? It is kinda hard to tell. I wanna assume the former, unfortunately.

I entered for Ami but haven't heard anything, either. My order has not been canceled, but it doesn't say I won, either; just order status: lottery with an order number that has not been turned into a link.

 

My entry still says "lottery," as well.

You get cancelled if you tried more than once for the same doll. So, maybe it takes time to make sure that all the entries are "valid" and to generate the results.

As in if we entered more than once? Well, we didn't so I don't know why that would specifically work with us. I just used extra people to assist me, him included.
I've had regular orders for lottery cancel when I lose more than once. I've even received a LOSING notice once before. XD It seems to vary though in how it gets responded to...

Mine also says lottery, but I've learned since long ago that just cause it says "Lottery" doesn't mean the lottery is still going on. The order will be deleted/cancel if you lose sometimes, and sometimes it just chills with ya. XD

 

Don't they have a twitter and/or a Facebook page at Volks? I wish they'd give some kind of notice when the lottery is over, or if there is a delay. I understand that there are time and language constraints, but a single, pre-prepared sentence would work. "Lottery complete, congratulations to winners," or "Lottery delayed to x date." It's really not much to ask.

I mean, Ami costs about a grand, right? That's a lot of money to sit on while we wonder if we still have a chance to win or not.

I took part on the lottery for the YOSD Tsukasa Konoe, and I haven't got any mail neither. If they've done the lottery, it's weird that no one has received a message.

Could it be that they're still looking over it before sending the mails to the winners?

It really would be some kind of helpful to know when they were actually FINISHED, instead of sitting around wondering whether it's done + we've all lost, or whether they're still getting their shit together with the email notifications.

(Maybe somebody who is more Facebook-savvy than me should look and find out if there's any info, though; my eyes zone out quickly at the sheer amount of visual noise on Facebook, so I'm apt to skim and miss important things. )

 

I put in for Shirou and Tsukasa Yos. No emails and my order still says lottery as well. I emailed Volks and asked if there was a delay or if they had chosen. I will let everyone know if they respond!

Yes, please do! Thanks for taking the initiative I put in a lottery entry for Yo-SD Tsukasa, and my order status is also the same everyone else. Simply "Lottery." If Volks could just give us some explanation for the delay, that would be great.

 

Volks also have Japanese FB page and they wrote today that everything is sold out and the payment process starts. So, I guess there were just a few dolls.... No Ami for me either

Considering usually twitter goes alive with winners and this time I only found one, yeah, I kinda figured that the odds were crazy bad. >: Oh Ami, you escaped me yet again! Maybe I'll consider Y!J.
