She's sooooo gorgeous! What's up with your doll? Are you ok? Photos photos, pleaaaase! I'm dying to see her...!
Hello¡¡ I´m ok,don´t worry¡¡¡ I´m working on the head, I hope to cast her this summer¡¡¡¡ The body is a hard work and this month I didn´t do anything.....I´m studying the joints of some female dolls I like to make it better.Maybe I will make changes and fixings,or I will redone some parts. Thanks for your interest¡
Good luck with everything! I love her lil' nose and her eyes...how they have a bit of puffy detail on the edge! I like to pick apart every doll I see and take away what I love. This weekend I am working on drafting out my own tiny twin dolls! I cannot wait to start!
I think I have figured out what you were unhappy with concerning the nose; the right nostril (left when looking at her from the photographer's point of view) seems slightly lower than the other (this may simply be from the angle of the camera, don't get me wrong). Besides that, I see nothing wrong and she seems like she will be a great success once finished! ~Lestat
Need to see more!! í´m in love!! If you are going to sell her head, then tell me have to have
It says there is no picture of her standing :'( Aww. WEll she looks grogeous anywho!!! I read through the whole thread and am so envious of your talents I want to start sculpting, too. I hope mine is half as good as yours.
Something that works well with heads is a trick I learned from Susanna Oroyan's book "Fantastic Figures". Use a mirror. Look at the head in it, from all angles, and upside down. It balances out the natural bias our left and right eyes have. We all have a dominant side. Wonderful work, she is very charming.
The thing i like in her the most, is that the head's every different angles come with a new expression on her face. I just love it. Really, really nice work.
Whaa she's gorgeous! Can't wait to see her when she's finished. I really love her mouth and her hands
