    2. That´s it. I´m using mr. dissolved putty and mr. white surfacer 1000.The head was done with Ladoll clay. First I sanded it with very fine sandpaper,then I covered it with the putty with a brush,and when it dryed I sanded it again. The putty is more easy to smooth.

      I use Mr. White surface too becouse itpaints the head in white and then is more easy to see the things that are wrong......... I´d put a lot of layers of putty and white surfacer ^_^U

      I think that her head look slighty big on her body....but well,she needs arms and legs,and that could be a optical effect?

      The same photo.I painted legs and arms,and I enlarged a little the shoulders and hips. What do you think? Should I enlarge more the body?

      I would want her to be short,about 53/55 cm... but curvy and femenine (here my friends call her Shakira XD) She would be like this:

      I don't think the head big, you'll see when you add arms.
      And, I love these proportions in fact, lot of dolls have a little bigger head, and I think it is very cute. If you make long legs, I think there won't be any problem !!! (And I'll love it !) !

      Keep on this way, in my opinion !

      But Ladoll is a dream for me. It´s air dry (and it dryes very fast), I can sand it very easy.(((I can draw on it¡¡¡ ( i find it very useful UXD))) And if I need to add more I just need to moisten a little and add more.

      Kiyakotari: Oh, I understand you .I started to make her becouse I had very clearly in my mind what I wanted. And there was no doll with such charasteristics on the market ^^U I think that BJDs bodys have very few differences, even between different companies.And thats very sad =_=U

      I´m thinking what to do. I would like to sell some Tliyels, but it depends if I work fine with moulding and casting, becouse I´m going to do all by myself :sweat I´m a little frightened about that.

      Oh, Tliyel head will have two version, this is the normal one, and I will made a elven Tliyel too. I promised that to my closest friend XD




      Well I hope to buy more Ladoll soon, I started her arms but they are just sticks by now UXD

      Jointing is so difficoult..... I´m sanding,carving,adding more clay,then sanding again,to make the hip joint perfect. And I´m very far from it yet =_=U

You can get short childish girls, or tall busty girls, or (if you want to push it) you can try the SoulDoll Celestyn and pretend it's a girl to get a tall, small-chested lass...but it's so hard to find shorter girls that are also...luscious! I need curves for this character, and she has to be VERY petite, way smaller than all the other dolls in the storyline, so... **sigh**

      I'm glad to hear you might be offering them for sale, though! I look forward to it, and I'll keep watching this thread. ^_~

      Your doll is soooooooo cute, I love when she poses, she looks like a sweet kind of girl....
      I'm about to make mine too, after 2 head tests. It helps a lot to see how you made the body an curves, and amazing effect of Mr Surfacer!

    32. I agree, I think that the 14mm eyes look much better than the 16mm eyes.
      Her body is so lovely, it's exactly what I've been slightly vainly looking for in a girl, a bit smaller but quite curvy girl.
      Your girl look gorgeous so far, best of luck and I look forward to seeing her in resin eventually. ^_^

      Well,I think that I´m going to cut about a cm of her forehead,that its too large...... I´m going to enlarge the bottom side of her trunk too. I was scared of this becouse I want her to be short.

      But yesterday I put her next to my other dolls,measuring how tall she would be next to them,and I realize that her torso is too short and if I dont enlarge it a little,the legs should be kilometric¡ UxD

      Oh,the arms need a lot of work,I know¡ XD I started it a few days ago¡ XD

      The calf needs about one cm more,is too short...


      Well,sculpting the leg I notice that with the wide hips there is a problem. Becouse or I sculpt a very fat legs,or they will be very separated....X_x

      So I will reduce a little her hips :( Well,half of the hips are attached to the legs, so she will be curvy and she will have wide hips anyway.

      This is a photoshop photomontage of how she would look with all the fixings.
