TinyFox Vinyl Dolls

Hi, guys. Can anyone tell me what the wait times are like? I ordered the Fibonacci doll through Clover Singing at the beginning of May and I’m wondering how much longer it might be?

 

The last TinyFox that I ordered from Clover-Singing/Christina took around 4 months. I ordered in mid-March this year and she was shipped in mid-July.

(Also according to her Instagram, Christina is on holiday right now for the Mid-Autumn Festival and will be back on 13 Sept.)

Sooo, I got my Tinyfox Little Fox & Little Frog just before Christmas! They are my first non-bjd dolls since childhood and also the first of YoSD size (others being bigger and a couple of smaller ones). They are so different from my bjds, and completely adorable

I ordered a Fibonacci from Jane's Dolland on 11/28 and got her today.

I need to 3D print her a crown. I'm not sure if I like the mechnical joints as much as string BJD, but I am happy with the vinyl material and the quality of the clothing. I wanted the clothing the most. I also ordered the pink "Rococo" version from Clover Singing.

How does their vinyl compare to Parabox or Obitsu vinyl? I'm not sure what to expect if I order one but they're so cute

 

Well, their vinyl is stiffer and denser. It doesn't have any squish at all, not even in the chest area. I guess it's kind of more like a hard plastic but it's not shiny. It's matt and has a bit of 'tooth'. They are also quite heavy and weigh similar to a resin doll of the same size. So if you're used to Obitsu/DD vinyl dolls, the weight will be quite surprising!

Their joints are much stiffer as well compared to Obitsu/DD. Their arms have a hidden double-joint but you need to heat up the joints in order to pop out that double joint.

 

@namika oh wow, thanks for your insight!! I'm glad I asked. I think I might get one in the future, but it's good to correct my misunderstandings now rather than after I open one up and start playing with it lmfao

 

They are ridiculously adorable. I'm considering picking up one on Mandarake.
I'd love it if they eventually made some 1/3 dolls too ^_^

 

I ordered Rita from NCS, I'm so excited Does anybody know if TF makes all their fullsets in one batch, or do they release them individually up to a certain number as orders come in until they hit their limited cap?

 

I have been staring very hard at Fibbonaci and Vivianna. I have zero background in vinyl dolls so it's a bit intimidating. But I love that they come as a fullset.

I was at a convention this past week and I saw someone had a Tatiana for sale... I was so sad I missed out on her since I waited too long to go back to get her! But it was the push I needed to try out a TF girl....

So I ordered a Tinyfox Ashley from Dolk.... It's so hard to find any info about TF....
I saw Ashley was not available on any other dealer site now, I only saw her through a faceup artist I follow who posted about the faceup collab on it. I hope she is still available as Dolk has burned me twice for ordering things still listed but no longer able to order LOL

Yeah many times they cancel my order when I get things online and they don't seem great for communications or updating their site.... but when I go to the actual store I never have problems.. I really hope I can get my girl!

 

I have Lilith on Lawaway right now! I'm seriously so excited to get him! A bit annoying that he doesn't have a male body but I do prefer chubby dolls so I'm not too mad.
I hope and pray that I get him before my trip to DLP in 6 months. The photos I could get of him there are just perfect.

 

Does anyone know when the Ashley dolls are going to start shipping? I ordered her in December through Clover Singing and I’m still waiting.

 

Tinyfox has been rather slow lately it seems.

The Little Anna that I ordered back in November last year only just arrived, making the wait almost 6 months. While the Fox Fairy Moon I ordered back in September last year shipped last month, making the wait 7 months.

Both were ordered through Clover Singing/Christina.

From what I've heard, Ashley is supposed to start shipping around July.

I realized I never shared a pic of my Rita with you guys!! She's so cute. I'm impressed by TF's 'vinyl' quality, in that she survived an extended period of time in a hot car with no warping or damage during my cross-country move. She was the doll I was most worried about, but she's safe and sound!! Here's a pic from her box opening... silly Slinky, it's TinyFOX not TinyCat!!!

One of her shoe straps fell apart with the slightest touch after I undid the fastener bead, so it did make me wonder if TF decided that QC with shoes is just not something they can pull off well? I do feel that fullsets should come with shoes just on principle, but it sure put a damper on my exciting dolly delivery to have something break right out of the box. Pure speculation, but it would explain a lot.

 

Just got my shipping confirmation for Ashley from Dolk! Hope everyone gets some news on theirs too!

 

She is incredibly cute!! I really love her expression.

 

I got yesterday my Monka and she is really really cute!!! Better than promo pictures, in my opinion.
And her night mask is just delicious.
She is my third Tinydoll and my first tinydoll in 1/6 size.

Aaaaa I'm so glad to see some more pics of Monka!! I've been curious about her since I first saw the release pics on Insta a while ago. She's sooo cute!

Is ALL tiny foxes made of vinyl? I can’t decide which one to buy yet but I already ordered 2 bodysuits just in case. Is they prime to staining? And they all MJD not BJD correct?

 

Except for TinyFox 1/6 Tinyhux (which is made of resin and can't really stand on its own... I have one), all the other Tinyfox dolls are made of vinyl. They are made of a harder and denser vinyl though that doesn't stain as easily as other soft vinyl dolls.

Tinyfox does say that they have pre-treated their dark full set clothing to prevent staining. I have a Vivienne who comes with a dark dress. I've put her in a bodysuit just in case, but so far no stains on the bodysuit. While my Dollfie Dreams stain if you look at them funny!

 

Thx good to know. I’ll get 1/6 1st to get idea what vinyl it is. But I do want 1/4 as well… they soooo cute. And sets got such beautiful clothes.

 

I just wanted to ask if there is 2 body types for MSD size dolls I’m getting feeling that there was slim 1/4 doll before with bigger chest & now they only have chubby 1/4s that called macoco with no chest? Is that correct? I just can’t get clear idea about theirs bodies & only noticed chest size difference.

 

I found a secondhand Little Frog in a vinyl doll fb group and grabbed it asap! Frog has been a doll I've wanted for a long time but it was too cunbersone to find a way to buy it new and not worth it for the price but this one was only $140 for the whole set in (mostly) pristine condition, just missing the box and one of the bodysuit straps being broken but aaa I'm so excited! I have a character for them already, they're nonbinary and are from a semi-modern fantasy world (similar to the ghibli movie howls moving castle) and they live near a pond and can talk to bugs. no name yet though, I'd love ideas for unisex names!

 

Well, I went for it and ordered Ode. I have both Ashley and Little Ashley, so a character related to them and of a similar aesthetic was too much to resist. Anyone else ordering Ode?

 

I just preordered Grafa. All the accessories look so nice! I am very exited for my first vinyl doll.

 

I've preordered Mouse Chef Mousse. The little ears and tail just look so cute!
