skyealloway - Yes they are! I forgot to tell I've changed his eyes to Ringdoll's 16 mm ( ?) pupilless red eyes, but I think whichever color in pupilless eyes would suit him, not just red....maybe :'D

I totally agree with you all who said the blonde eyelashes and the red eyes do look cool ! XD

amygee, I haven't yet got a word from them. I asked them on 1st this month and they said they have some manufacturing problems and apologized for delay. They estimated the shipping for this week, but I haven't yet heard no word from them. I'm hoping to get my La Vien en Rose girl this month. I'm really anxious about getting her home, but I same time know they do their best if they have some problems with the manufacturing process. I'm sure she's worth the wait, just it feels so long time.

 

Wow, I wonder what could be delaying them... is it the rainy season right now? O_o

And because I never seem to post here anymore without accompanying picspam... : P

Right now it's a tossup between pastel blue, golden blonde, and pastel orange. I have to make up my mind soon or I'll miss out on Leeke's Angel Blue if I decide to go that route...

Oh I am sorry for the delay.
I dont know if this is related, I ordered glass eyes from everpurple which is from Korea also and they delay the shipping too. They said it is because of the relatively hot weather there, the eyes are not hard enough to be shipped out. So maybe it is the same for the dolls?

Xaya, you're probably right. I'd rather the company take their time than send out defective dolls. I appreciate their meticulousness, I suppose. So yes, she'll be worth the wait, I'm sure. It just doesn't make the waiting any easier, haha.

I did her faceup in haste, so it's not very good, but I give her to my favorite faceup artist soon, so yeah. SHE'S SO CUTE x3 I love her little hands, they are cutest msd hands I ever seen But I really hate how her headcap is connected with her body string XDDDD I knew it would, but I just didnt knew it's such a pain XD

and here she is with my lil kid delf boy, Miho :3 they look really a like in rl, but not so on pictures XD they have very simmilar faceshape and eyeshape... so cute! x3

Your Denis girl is so pretty. And I can see your faceup is light but i think it looks good. Post pictures of what she will look like when you get her back from your fav faceup artist because if you think she needs more work now I will really wonder what she'll look like after ^_^. I agree with hanapui I think her hair/eye combo is cute. It's similar to my 26cm so i'm used to seeing that same look

This is my first limited sculpt, and I couldn't be more happy with her!
c : The face-up is absolutely stunning! The blushing on the nose is hard to capture in pictures, but it's perfect for her!

 

So good news! My May V came as well! She came on friday. Kind of weird, since I didn't get any kind of shipping notice email. The website didn't even change my order status, either. It was pretty unexpected. Unfortunately, I haven't had much of a chance to play with her because my kitty had to get emergency surgery on friday, and she's had a rough recovery. So hopefully when things start looking better for my cat, I'll get more of a chance to enjoy my doll!

I am loving all the new dolls and pictures Congratulations to everyone who have finally got the dolls they have been waiting for!

Here is a photo of Isabel. I have changed her eyes to 14mm brown glass ones. I have some paler ones on the way, but for the moment I really like how these look on her. She also has new hair, a Leeke wig, which is so soft and realistic looking, I am really happy with it.



I have recently received a ninestyle msd dress, and beautiful as it is, there was no way I could fit it on Isabel without actually cutting it down the back. Has anyone else had this problem? I always thought tiny fairies were pretty much a standard size msd.

I have never had a problem with MSD clothes being too small with my BF's
If I do have a problem it is a case of the clothes being slightly too big. After all BF's are on the slim side for MSD

 

I've never had clothing that's too small either... maybe it's sized for slim minis?

I changed out May V's eyes last night (Me: 2 Bluefairy nightmare putty: 0) to a smaller and lighter pair, I think it helps a lot because the stock eyes looked very dark in almost any light. The 14mm eyes are almost too small for her sockets though, which made positioning them a bit frustrating. I have a mystery pair (given to me by a friend) that seems to have 14mm irises but 16mm whites and they fit really well... but I didn't like the colour. I might have to track down some more eyes made in that style though.

Shibya - your Jasmine is lovely! Her hands look different from the usual girl hands. More slender. Could just be the sleeves, or did they finally tweak the girl hands? (They slimmed the boy hands when they brought out the dandy body, but hadn't changed the girl hands for the blossom body--)

Skwerlie - your dreaming May is so nice! That pink outfit is so cute, especially the little collar-and-hood part. Welcome to the world of trying to make eyes show up in the small lid openings. My one Kyle has light brown that came with him,but they rarely show up. The only eyes I got to show up in my AYS Kyle were a pair of vivid turquoise glass eyes I got from Ginarolo. You might check her sale thread, since she sometimes gets in eyes with smaller irises and notes them in the size listing under each color. You can also ask her about specific iris sizes if you know the size you want in centimeters.

 

skwerlie hehe, that's a soom tiny cloak, huh! I spit for a grit one, I never thought I'd fit an MSD thou, its very cute ^_^

 

hobbywhelmed- Actually, these are ginarolo eyes she's wearing right now (green tea colour)... were the vivid turquoise eyes seafoam colour by any chance? Because I have a pair of those in 14mm in my Bambicrony and if they show up particularly well I may as well swap them around. XD;

skyealloway- It is! It's my Glot's cape... but it's actually pretty hard to get onto a Bluefairy, and you can tell the shoulders don't line up on a larger doll. I was only tempted to try because it matches her bodice so well!

 

skwerlie - I'm not sure. I think they're close to seafoam. I was at a meet when she brought out all her blue/turq colors and these matched his hairband --

 

Oooh, those do show up nicely! : o The ones I have are a lot greener though, I do wonder if they'll show well but I'll probably wait until I want to change Clover's eyes anyway. XD

 

Which dress is this? In my experience Nine9 actually runs a bit large. Blue Fairy actually fits very well in slim mini clothes so this sounds a bit strange to me.

I think the eye colour actually look quite nice against the pink especially.

 

skwerlie - I think they're Ocean Breeze. I remember asking for Sea Breeze, but glommed these when she held them out. They're as close as I get to anything in the blue family for eyes!

It is a gorgeous dress, but too tight to put on either over her head or up the other way!
Are tiny fairies classed as slim-mds? I have no idea. Do they fit unoa clothes? Or minifee and narae clothes?

 

They do, actually, though tight Unoa dresses may be a little short. My BF boy can wear MNF girl skinny Brennil jeans.

It looks like for that dress you need to remove the head to get it on the doll. It's shown on a Volks MSD and they are larger than BFs, so once the head is off, it will definitely fit.

 

They're not quite as slim as most slim minis, but they're definitely slimmer than, say, a Volks MSD or some of the chubbier minis out there. I wonder if that dress is meant to fit on by taking off the head- I know some doll clothes only go on if you remove the head or hands, but with BFs it's a real pain to remove their heads! DX

 

Yeh, for nine9style tops you need to remove their heads to put them on C:

I HATE it when I am sold clothes where I have to take off the head of a doll I will make sure I am very careful about buying certain styles from Nine9Stlyle from now on.

I still would like to see some of the other TFs minimised to this size though.

 

Trying a slightly different look for Natsume. I really need to order his Silver eyes again but in 14mm since the high domes don't sit right with 16mm. These are a very old pair of original order Everpurple eyes. I don't think they make them as nicely anymore.

 

Well, I finally ordered my first Tiny Fairy, a basic May (blossom body), together with her little brother, a Shiny Fairy May boy..... and now comes the waiting game (waits drive me crazy but at least I have time to get busy on the sewing machine in the mean time)
