ID75 shirts are too small for The Voice Eagle body's shoulders.

 

I think the Eagle body can share tops with YC77. Maybe some of the iplehouse HID shirts. Some of my looser ID75 clothes also works on him and ID75 pants always seem to work for me to far. Papazi and littleoverbearingceo also usually have the size in their releases.

It’s funny you say that. I feel like they’re so light! Especially compared to Soom’s ID75.

 

I finally got my Lykos sculpt! I found someone selling theirs on Xianyu. It was a real hassle trying to get him. I posted my shipping horror story in the BJD subreddit, but to make it short, the customs office made me pay 260 USD more for handling fees because this doll was marked for confiscation as p*rn*graphic material (yes, because of the privates that came with the doll.) I wonder if anyone here had the same experience. Either way, I finally have him and I couldn’t be more happy.

 

So, I'm relatively new to bjd but I know I'll lose interest if it isn't just right for my OCs so couldn't resist getting these guys after seeing the proportions. Had some periods of regret while waiting, partially because I got an Aolingshi body in the meantime which I love so thought I must have wasted my money going for the expensive option.
However... Sun arrived the other day, and then Eagle arrived today, and they're just amazing! They're perfect! No regrets, I'm so happy to have them
Sun has a Dollzone Balint head and Eagle is currently headless lol

Anyone picking up anything in the current preorder? It looks like Spacestudio is a little cheaper than Moonlight.
They have so many new gorgeous sculpts too. Nie, Osmanthus, Qilin, Lykos!

 

I bought a charcoal Lykos from moonlight cause I had a full day of events on Saturday well into the night and Space Studio BJD didn't put their orders up until much later, would have been nice to save the $170 but I didn't want to risk it since charcoal is limited. But I got the Luke and Carmen heads, M chest, beast legs and jointed hands. I had to take a break from the hobby because I was in grad school but this is my last quarter so decided to treat myself to a graduation gift.

 

Wait, does Spacestudio charge shipping up front, like moonlight does?

 

Moonlight doesn't charge Doll shipping upfront. If you buy a full doll from them you must select "doll purchase" at checkout for shipping or they will cancel your order. They will reach out for a custom quote once the doll is sent to them.

Spacestudio shouldn't charge if you put a deposit but I think it does if you pay in full.


Sidenote, looks like Charcoal Lykos sold out on Spacestudio and LUTS (although luts might not have offered it), Moonlight has it up though still although they say they will just flat out cancel orders over the limit so I wonder if it's all sold out.

Woah, that was fast! I hope everyone who wanted Charcoal got it! The other color is bronze right? I think he’ll look good in either color— but I’m so curious how he’ll look in the bronze.

 

I suspect space studio ran out quickly because it was the cheaper option and they only had 5 avail, which is so low! but also I don't think they have a rule on not selling to chinese addresses like moonlight. I wonder how many moonlight got they are their first partner so I wonder if they would get more inventory.

I wanted him in charcoal cause I wanted an anubis/hellhound character but I am also super curious to see him in bronze. I'm surprised it hasn't been casted yet. I have bronze monsoon so I know he will probably look really good, I love that tan its so rich.

Also update. I asked yuki directly on IG about eyes for Lykos and she said 14mm for Carmen and Luke but that Happy could take 16mm eyes.

 

That makes a lot of sense. I do hope someone posts him with the bronze. I’m so curious.

He’s going to be stunning on Charcoal! Do you have plans how you’re going to make your Anubis/Hellhound guy?

 

omg sorry i didnt get the notif for this! but def want to get him a gold/blue egyptian faceup. going to go on the hunt for eyes but im thinking a yellow/blue/green mix if i can find it. already have a bunch of red eyes though so i will probably put some in if i dont find what im looking for. not sure the artist yet as last i checked alatexin was on hiatus and given all the stupid tariffs shipping to china now like i have before is a no-go.
