She did a release of two new boys but they sold out very fast.

 

My boy is coming in today! I bought NIUNIU in normal skin! I wish I had bit the bullet and got bronze!

 

I adore the 巴爾/Bar sculpt. I was hyping myself up for his preorder (which I think the artist quoted as being next year sometime) but I have sadly had to come to terms with the fact that the huge 70+ cm dolls are just too big for me That, however, will not stop me from ogling every picture they post on their Instagram of those beautiful boys

There was a pre-order for Bar earlier today but he sold out lightening fast. He is a grail of mine so I’m hoping I can get him next year when she does another international pre-order along with Monsoon (he also sold out really fast).

Congrats! I was able to get a NiuNiu in WS earlier today from the domestic preorder. I wish I could have gotten him in normal skin but she only offered one skin color per sculpt. Not the end of the world as it’s not a Snow White and near same color as some NS dolls I have.

Sorry for double post but as I had both NS and WS resin for The Voice I did a quick headcap comparison with some more headcaps. I can redo it once I get my new Luts and Soom dolls (only have 10+ year old resin from them currently). But I know from someone who matched them on IG that NS Soom resin is a match for NS The Voice and the Idealian heads fit as well on the big bodies. (Tape over Switch headcap bc its brand new and I'm selling so want to keep it nice).

Since there’s no waiting room thread, I’ll just hop a Q in here: if anyone had ordered from Moonlight, did you choose EMS or China Post and how was your experience with the shipping overall if you have received your doll?

I was quoted those two shipping methods, and wasn’t sure on their reliability so asked for DHL… but it’s taking a while for M to come back with a quote for that

 

I am in love with the proportions of this doll, finally found a body for sale but I am wondering what clothes would fit. Does anyone have some advice about this? I am thinking Idealian75 will be a good bet.

 

@Mewtt Iplehouse HID on top, ID75 for bottoms. ID75 vest will work but be a tight fit. The Voice shoulders are too broad for coats/shirts in ID75. Your best bet though for a tailored look is to shop on TaoBao there are quite a few sellers who will make custom sizes. Some sellers like PapaZi, STT and Mr. Black make sizes specifically for The Voice. Yuki herself actually makes clothes but hasn't in a while besides the jacket she just released through Moonlight.

Was able to nab a NS Niu Niu on the second handmarket and he came today! This one I am turning into Sukuna from JJK. He is so devilishly handsome!

I did order a WS Niu Niu from the domestic preorder but I am likely going to keep the body and sell of the head. If anyone is interested send me a DM and I will keep you in mind for when he gets here in the fall for first dibs.

@RebelViva Your Niu Niu is so cool, he'd work great as Sukuna! I regret not selecting his head myself as I went with Ying in a last-minute indecisive choice. Maybe someday I can find one in NS floating around someday.

 

Any knows if yukilovecomic have a taobao store link? Cause, wanna prepare myself when she opens her new pre-order at the end of the year. Kinda wanna save some by not using moonlight. Or does she only have weidian?

 

@crappyshappyshaw Ty! I hope you are able to get a Niu Niu in NS too! I saw someone selling just the head on IG about a month ago so people are selling them separately too. TBH I want every sculpt she puts out they are all so handsome so I get not being able to decide its a tough call.

@RenaBJD She only does Weidan not TaoBao that I know of. I heard a rumor that it was because someone bought and recasted something of hers on Taobao which is why she doesn't sell there anymore or use agents there. Not sure how true that is if she ever had a TaoBao, although I do know Ying was recasted and sold in 2021 as she has pics of it up on her IG still.

I used an agent to go through Weidan but honestly not saving all that much after fees, etc. than what people have sold their "at cost" doll to me from moonlight.

But Moonlight reached out to me as I asked to be on the wait list for Yuki, there is an NS Ying available right now on their site if anyone was looking for one. Looks like its still there!

Also I was google searching looking for Pipos doll resin matching and stumbled upon this official headcap comparison of Yuki resin that used to be on Yuki Weidan when she offered beach skin. I hope she offers it again, would love to get a doll of hers in that color.

Wow! So I finally opened up my Ying, and he is larger than I expected! He's not too much larger than my other dolls in height, but golly is he much more top heavy! I am very pleased with the custom silicone kips supporting his arms, and his hands are so large and delightful to hold. I'm hoping there's another international order so I can play with those jointed hands

Somehow I completely forgot about the additional dick pieces, but the ankle extenders I wasn't expecting at all. Do the extenders make his leg size more compatible with a certain pant size?

Sorry I missed this question! I was given four options in April: EMS, DHL, China Post Air and SAL. I ended up going with China Post and he took 15 days to get to me.

 

Yes, I did. Went with EMS because the DHL quote was off the roof. It took about a week to get to my country, plus a few more days past customs to me. The tracking was quite on point, so that was a relief.

 

China Post takes about the same time as EMS then A bit regret since CP was a much lower price, but anyhow he’s safely home now!

May I know how the ankle extenders look like? I don’t think I got them Were they in the same plastic with the additional d parts?

I just saw someone post pictures of one of these guys in another category and I’m obsessed! I love the buff proportions. Maybe someday I’ll figure out what to do with one of these guys, they are just so cool looking!

Oh wowwww, I usually only like more softer feminine dolls for both genders but I for some reason adore the sculpt of this? the body is just gorgeous, might put it on my dream doll list. def something I have to save up for.

 

I finally got some clothes for Calore!! First 75cm in the house and I wasn't prepared to dress the hunk of resin he is.

NiuNiu is definitely one of my most favorite sculpts. Though I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a re-release in red in the future.

Update! I was looking on past posts on IG and Yuki said she has another international dealer she is using, I asked her and its going to be LUTS! I haven't ordered 3rd party from them before but they have great service for their own dolls. However unfortunately I believe LUTS layaway policy is only for their own dolls according to the FAQ.

Ideally getting 2 of her boys next order so would appreciate the layaway option. I know shipping for Moonlight was expensive (I only bought mine second hand so not sure on actual quoted price) but when I got my SSDF Mars from LUTS this past April I paid $230 for shipping and Yuki boys are alot bigger and heavier and shipped with a carry bag so shipping might be pricey from them too. ID75 shipping was only $127 for UPS in comparison so LUTS is also kinda high on shipping fees too. But overall still is the more trustworthy option by far.

 

Omg, this is great news! Thank you for reporting on this! So exciting ♡ I agree, LUTS shipping is on the pricier side (I spent as much money on shipping a rather small SD65 body from them as I spent on shipping a hunky ID75 from Soom >.<") but I also feel more confident about them than Moonlight tbh.

 

I’m really curious about the posability of The Voice body! Like to what extent can the parts bend and if they can stand well by themselves!

It seems that Yuki has plans to release a new body type that's slightly shorter and slimmer than the 75 body along with the Sun head? Can't wait for the official news!

 

@Sasha of the Crows definitely! I am going to order from LUTS if I can too.

@Bubbleteaddict They pose really well for being so top heavy! I have 2 bodies and a third on the way. All of them have kips in the joints which makes posing them really easy, no need for sueding. Although I’m sure if you did wire them they would even be able to get in better poses.

My boys stand really well in kitten heels without much fuss. They also can lean back pretty well and be stable in them. The head also has 3 notches for S hooks so you can position the head at various angles. If anything they came to me strung on the tight side (compared to ID75) but it did loosen up to a good balance once I played with them. I can’t recco the bodies enough! Definitely get one.

Height wise it's not that much smaller, the body is mostly slimmer. A link to a comparison of the two bodies.

I messaged them asking when they would go on sale and they said they are still working out the contract but they will post about it and promote it once they know!

My guess would be sometime at the start of the new year.

Yuki domestic order shipped about two weeks ago. I should get my boy soon and just in time since the head its for is off at faceup.

Are those the colors posted on the Instagram account? I was trying to pinpoint the skin colors in the pictures but there were a couple where I have my doubts.

The pictures where Monsoon shows a little too sun tanning to be NS I think, is this the bronze skin? There are some pictures where the natural light makes him look like NS so I am not really sure


I think for Bar was easier, just the grey and the white right? Do you think the grey one will be available? I was interested in the white one for a character, but I want to mention that The Voice really knew how to sell him off in that grey skin, he looks gorgeous


I think I saw some pics where Eagle has tan skin, I think that was very distinctive. But the one color that is breaking my head is the one that NiuNiu and YeYou show in a lot of pics, what skin color is this? The Beach one??



I'm not entirely sure that all these pics have the same skin color but I thought they did sorry if I mixed 2 in the same picture.
About the Normal skin, I think I didn't find any NS in the Instagram account (?) again, not entirely sure about that...

@NuttyRojita Yes, Monsoon shown in most of his pictures is in Bronze! NS is a bit lighter than that.

I am not sure what colors she is going to offer this time around but she offered Bar in grey in her June domestic order (sold out faster than my agent could place the order on Weidian lol). But then she only offered one skin tone per doll: NS Eagle, WS Niu Niu, Bronze Monsoon and GS Bar. I hope she gives us more options this time around.

The beach skin on Ye You and Niu Niu is lovely! One of her new sculpts the smirky one, hopefully she offers him in beach skin down the line. I'm not sure when the last time she offered that skin is.

Sun her new boy is in NS and he is standing next to Bar in WS in this pic. The difference can be is subtle in pics with lots of natural light. More noticeable in person and under artificial lights. I took comparison pics earlier in the thread of NS/WS but happy to take some more if you need.

 

OOoh so that would be the NS, less pale than white. The beach skin is beautiful, and yeah it would suit the new guy she's working on, I did read somewhere that it was a special skin tone and wasn't offered often, but I do hope that in this sale it does offer more than just 1 skin tone for each boy Thank you for the information!

 

Gosh id kill for a nuinui in red I feel like it’s just so nice on him. Like I don’t know how to explain it it just feels and looks incredibly nice. It’s how I feel about red garion.

 

Sameee, I hope NuiNui is available in red!, even if that makes things difficult for me since I'm already struggling about getting only 1, maybe 2 if I get too indecisive but that short layaway policy and shipping fee it's making me sweat

 

Yeah it is especially rough if it clashes with another sculpt you like.

 

I was wondering if she would let us choose between the bodies--- I like the beefiness of the older body and would prefer that than the new slim body.

 

I think the only one with the slim body will be the new boy, Sun, but I didn't see him on the Luts's website, maybe he won't be on the next international sale?
I'm going for the older body as well, I looove his proportions but I'm still deciding which boy I'm gonna get

 

Man it would really be nice if we could choose between the two as I both like the skinnier and beefy bodies. Who knows maybe luts may update the page after all that page is most definitely a place holder.

 

I was hoping her skinner bodies would be more ID75 sizing to fit in their clothes but they still seem a bit wider, shoulders of new body are 3cm wider than ID75 and 2 cm shorter in width than the original body. Id still would like to try out the new body though. Maybe they can fit in more baggier items.

 

For sure it would definitely have to be baggy ain’t no way they fitting a tight fitting suit for id75s.

so they are definitely not going to sell the new one yet, I think it's one doll less to worry about because his last photos have been quite nice

 

If old trends/patterns are anything to go by she will likely release the new one during the next domestic order on her Weidian sometime this summer.

I'm excited for Barr and Monsoon, hope I can get them! Sucks Luts doesn't do layaway on brand dolls (but I will even buy from Moonlight if I have to )

Oooh, I'm so excited for the next period. Hoping it's this summer or close to that since I'm flat broke at the moment. Is it too much to hope for separate head sales as well?

 

Do you think it would be available in Moonlight too? I haven't heard anything good from there and I wish there was another dealer really, but I prefer layaway How much do they normally cost? is very expensive in Moonlight? How much does it normally cost in her Weidian?

I wish it could be in the summer, maybe that way I could get two but I don't trust when artists release teasers, sales usually start not long after

 

Summer would be nice but who knows the last pre order was near the later months.

 

Moonlight for NS/WS charges like $800 for doll+jointed hands plus shipping (which is where people really ran into issues last year with crazy shipping fees). Honestly, I buy from Moonlight when I have to for example for Vanilla Ann since those eyes sell instantly on their TB (hell even on Moonlight's site its gone in like 20-30min). They've been getting slightly better as they have refunded me shipping costs when they combine items but they still price gouge for the most part so I try to avoid.

I paid about $1000 total because of my agent fee + shipping to Malaysia (where my agent is from) for a WS NiuNiu from her Weidian sale last June so prices are pretty much the same. But people buy up her dolls quickly and even use bots to do so on Weidian she sold out same day.

No idea how much LUTS will charge I imagine the same/similar as Moonlight. They unfortunately don't have prices up.

I think they will release sometime next week if I had to guess. Her preorders the last 2-3 times have happened about a month after the previous order ships and takes about 6 months. Her last order shipped in Dec 22.

 

Or just the body separate. I would love to be able to get one. This is a beautiful doll.

@RebelViva I'm really wondering what the prices will be like from LUTS... I would really prefer not to go through Moonlight again unless, like you said, I have to. The shipping on this guy seriously hit square in the wallet and it felt like mine took longer to arrive than others'. I can always wave it off now as probably an issue from the pandemic, but still. Ouch.

@monicammc Yes! Just parts, really. I am in such love with these dolls and this company. If I miss out on a full doll this run, then maybe I can still make it in for a jointed hands order.

 

If there’s a jointed hand order I would totally go for it! so much regrets on not getting them the last time with Ye You.

Honestly the extra parts like jointed hands would be nice heck I’ll even take nuinuis horns if it was a option.
