I didn't know we were doing updates here, but I almost finished my Newbie outfit for... OakBottom BeechKiss! What a challenge indeed! I'm going to need another week on it but then it's gonna be shipped out. It's good to see what everyone else has made so I'll make sure to include a little extra

 

Hey, I was wondering if other people are still waiting for their newbie packages?
I'm just getting a little nervous because I haven't received mine yet and haven't heard anything from my oldie, so I'm a bit worried ; u;

 

Im still waiting. My Oldie is in texas. A long way to europe ^^

Same... my patron and I communicated quite frequently until three weeks ago. I haven't heard from her since and I don't really want to bug her about it.

 

I have the opposite problem... I know one of my new folks got her box, but the other one? The tracking says it was left at their door, but they never confirmed receiving it. I haven't heard a peep from them since I sent the tracking number.

At this point I don't know if the box went missing, or if they just didn't think much of what I sent.

 

It appears that my package to my newbie has been lost in the mail I'll be sending out a replacement one this weekend.

 

The same thing happened with my newbie box. Tracking said it was delivered at the front desk a long time ago, but I have never heard anything about them receiving it. I did not send my newbie a tracking number, I just kept it for my records. I am fairly sure my newbie would have posted here or contacted a mod if they did not receive the package I sent by now.

I don't think we can or should expect that all the newbies will post or reply that their package was received. My experience over the years in our marketplace has told me that. I have sold many an expensive doll and never heard a peep from buyers after it was delivered. We fulfilled our end of the project and can't stress about whether it was well received or not. The person can always give it to someone else or sell it if they can't use any of the items I sent. I had fun putting the package together and even made a special card to go with it so I enjoyed the process even if the gift was never acknowledged.

 

I did hear from my newbie that the package I sent did arrive so I'm happy it wasn't lost after all

 

I send my Newbie their package last week. I haven't heard from them yet either but I also did not have a tracking number so it could either be already there or still in transit!

The sad thing is, is that my Newbie was waiting for an Oakbottom BeechKiss, but I recently learned they will not be cast at all and all pre-order customers will be refunded... So now they are stuck with two outfits for a plus-size doll that will never exist I feel so bad for them and I already PMed a mod on what to do...

 

I've still not recieved anything. I've asked my oldie, if it was already send out.

 

My oldie hasn't communicated with me in a month and a half, which is really weird because her communication was very consistent and she had been showing me progress pics on the items she was making me. Even after asking @idrisfynn to check up on her for me, I've been left in the dark. This newbie has since purchased a few pieces of clothing for her first doll during the wait (curses, DZ!!), so I'm not so bothered, but I wish she'd at least told me if anything was going on that had caused her to back out.

 

I have not had a reply from my Newbie at all, so I'm going to wait patiently untill she tells me what she'd rather have instead of the Beechkiss clothing.

 

if anyone is interested, I have a nice msd pack left over.

 

I've got some spare time in the next few weeks, so if we have any newbies who didn't get their goodies and have dolls close to the size of anyone in my crew, I could make one of my shenyi or hakama sets for them, too.

 

Not sure if this is allowed, but... I didn't have a doll lined up when the event started, but I've got two SD girls on the way now (a ddoll elva and a withdoll swd) if any oldies find themselves without newbies and would like to take on a latecomer.

 

I'm sure there will be some stuff left over from my incoming fukubukuro's from dollheart. Will let you know after they have arrived.
