Narrative the Queen's Birthday

Far away, in a land where flowers bloomed all year, Narae had a little flower shop...


One day an unusual customer came in. He said he was on a special mission to purchase flowers for a client in the northern land, for his wife whose birthday was the next day...

"These will do nicely. Thanks"


Winston had delivered all the flowers, and the King had placed them all in their private rooms.
"Happy birthday, sweetheart..."

"These are all so beautiful!"


"I had them flown in, specially for your birthday..."


The children were all excited that it was their Mom's birthday, had gotten up early, and couldn't wait any longer, so came rushing into their parent's room....


"Happy Birthday Mom!"




After she was dressed, the children took Monica to the Great Hall to see her birthday cake...


Then they posed for a traditional family portrait...


They did a final check to see if everything was ready for their guests...

 

First to arrive was the King's sister, Grace, and her new guy, Jude, and his two children...


'Welcome to the family."


"Happy birthday!"


"This is our dog, Shadow..."


Next to arrive were Rex and Bianca. 'Happy Birthday Sis."


Eden and Yvette arrived...


And the party began...

 

Monica was having a great time...


Everyone was having a good time...


Paige wanted to play a tune on her lute for her Mother...








Eventually it was time for everyone to go home.

When Monica had learned that it had been Winston who had flown to distant lands to get all the beautiful flowers for her birthday, she sent for him to come, but he didn't arrive until very late, after everyone else had left.

"I'd really like to thank you. That was so sweet of you to go to all that trouble..."


"It was no trouble, your Majesty. I was only too happy to help."


"I know there's not much left, but you are welcome to help yourself to anything..."


So Winston filled a plate, and they had a nice visit while Winston enjoyed the treats....

@Fuzzy350 - Thank you. For me, this doll hobby is all about costuming and photographing my dolls. As I get more and more handicapped, it's my dolls that keep me going. I originally never thought of including Winston, until my husband asked how Lawrence (the King) was going to get flowers delivered in a time before cars and planes. Then I figured a dragon could do it!

Thank you so much. I'm currently working on the final photo shoots for an ongoing story that will start up again real soon. And there's at least two other stories in the works. I really need to get some of them under control since they are just growing exponentially. And there's too many other dolls wanting a turn.
