Single sentence description of your fabulously basic sock outfit: I've made an accidentally asymmetrical long sleeved, long legged black outfit with yellow gold embroidery added.

Doll company, body type & head sculpt: Doll Chateau Alberta

Method and Materials Used: I used 5 black knee high socks made of lovely soft bamboo fiber. I have sewn it all by hand with yellow gold embroidery thread or black thread with 2 snap closures on the top. I cut the last sock up to bits trying to create decoration for Alberta's horns.

A cute little spring dress and matching capelet, for sunny days that still aren't quite warm enough yet.

Method and Materials Used:
Look I just kinda of eyeballed and guesstimated this one. She's so small I only used a single sock so I had the second one as a back up should anything go terribly wrong. I started out by cutting out the parts of the print I wanted, then I adjusted the size to fit her snugly as a shoulder-less dress. I used gold embroidery thread to embellish the raw edges of the capelet and add a tie.

These are all so awesome, good work everyone! Post number 5, I would totally wear that in Me-size! Number 7, omfg, that looks like stuff I see at Renfaires! There's a woman that like specializes in coats and the like out of mixed fabrics like that! Way cool!

#1 - again, thank you, moderators!

#2 - I'm sure this body isn't easy to sew for, but your design is wonderful - I love the embroidered details.

#3 - your doll looks like a little woolen bear, very cute!

#4 - the color you chose looks very nice with her skin, and the delicacy of the pattern suits her.

#5 - pretty soft colors - the clothes look very comfortable.

#6 - sailor suits are very basic!

#7 - nice idea to sew the different socks together for the cloak!

#8 - looks like a very comfortable outfit, and you centered the pattern well.

#9 - aw, cute panda - and I like the design of the shirt.
