    2. I feel guilty being inactive here a very long stretch and then showing up just for the celebration, but it's been a very rough year...and this event has been a highlight of my summers. I've been kind of saving up energy just for this! So I hope it's not viewed too cynically. I am SO EXCITED.
Sorry to be a pain in the neck asking questions immediately...but is the start date (today) for the first challenge correct, and there will be almost two weeks to complete that one?
      [EDIT] Disregard my silly question!

    3. i have two questions:
      1) does the fact that there are four prizes mean that there will be four winners, each getting to pick from the leftovers, or will there be specifically only one winner?
      2) the description for the serenade nova says that the clothing/faceup/wig will be a surprise, but what skin will we be receiving the doll in if that prize is chosen?

thank you! i doubt i'll win, considering i'm quite a beginner at any doll-stuff-making, but i'm going to attempt it!

    4. ... Where is challenge number two?
      I can't find the link anymore ><

... or I'm getting confused with other contests being held at the same time as the Triathlon?
      :?

    5. I think the link to challenge two should appear only on Sunday, 13 August : )

    9. Congrads to the winners!! Also, congrads to everyone who participated! Your entries were all amazing. It was so hard to vote. I'm glad to see some of my favourites amongst the winners.

@Lawrichai - I've been dying to ask : how did you shoot that last photo? It's mindblowing!

    10. Congratulations to all the winners! And thank you everybody who voted for my Rococo lady Adela with the guitar, finally buried under the ''ground'' (temporarily :kitty2 ). My favourite entry was David Bowie, especially his masks. And the cutest prop of all was - to me - the shining cotton umbrella!

    11. Oh
      My :ablink:
      Goodness :aeyepop:

I was afraid of not being able to catch up to the drop I faced at the second challenge.
But ... wow! I am so grateful you liked my last picture so much <3
My boldness was tested heavily for the last challenge as I have acrophobia. *_*
I was so stressed out when I took the pictures that I was close to crying.

This question is the reason I didn't slept well the whole week I was preparing this "stunt".
I crafted some sort of a stretcher that had to be hanged outside my second story window from my curtain rod.
It was A LOT of planning, tinkering and "rednecking". (I'm no engineer) ><

In my entry post, you can see a picture of the whole thing suspended outside against the wall in the "notable details" picture.

I used a lot of metal wires to hold the clothes, the ladder and the hair up as if he was falling.
The whole thing looked like a sculpture when it was done, and arranged in a way that you wouldn't see much of the wooden structure underneath.

I was glad when it was all done and my precious Neptune was safely back inside :D

Side note: I almost didn't do it. I was afraid; afraid of heights, afraid of the impossibility to pull this off, afraid of loosing my only doll if it fell down...
Then I remembered a quote from my favorite movie "Kamikaze Girls":
" Humans are cowards in the face of happiness."
So I got my tools out and started working on that improvised stretcher!
      =^.^=

    12. This year's theme was really interesting and I was amazed on how they were able to categorize the challenges to exploit three completely different processes into the making of a full set bjd. (sewing/crafting, concept/props and photography/story telling).

Thanks to the Moderators for their time organizing this and mostly for answering all of our questions while the contest was underway. <3

@Masha Your flower dress was so impressive I couldn't take my eyes off her when I first saw the pictures. You have an ability to mold paper in ways I would never thought doable. O.o You truly have an eye for fashion and design !

@ghostdollie Yggdrasil couldn't have been better represented than this <3 And I totally lost it when I saw your "Filth Dragon". This was genius! Seriously, I laughed out loud at the awesomeness of this idea! :D

I do not know the owners of some entries, so I'll identify them through their work:
The fire backdrop and the prostrating dolls was awesome!
It makes the whole picture so dramatically intense and formidable :D
It really added a lot to the perceived persona of your doll.

THIS! This made me laugh so much!
This picture is what made this entry so amazing!
I mean, the mother appearing in a bath towel to catch up the culprit was too much :D
You can tell the WHOLE story here just with this single picture! Bravo.

(I don't know if there is a limit to the number of pictures I can copy in a single post, so I'll use a few. Sorry for the "spam" =^.^= )

    13. Congrats to all the winners AND those who completed the full triathlon!

@Masha I loved your model girl, she is so pretty and you took amazing photographs.

@BridgetKeely Your space girl was so unique and really stood out to me. I love space and other planets, so what a cool idea!!

      I also wanted to say:

-to whoever had the shark kid, I loved your concept, it made me laugh. Adorable!

-whoever made that horse as a prop--WOW! To me, making something like that in less than a week is unfathomable, good job!

      - @KiyoshiSenshi (yes I'm calling you out bc I recognized your boy XD) I really loved the outfit you made in the first round, the detail was so good!

-to the little girl in mommy's clothes writing on the wall, loved it because it reminded me of childhood! The accessories details were so cute.

For anyone interested, mine was the little girl pretending to be Merida. After the first round, I was feeling pretty discouraged but I'm glad I stuck it out because I did improve! I also spent time bonding with my dad as he taught me to use a coping saw, dremel and belt sander to make the bow. I had never used those tools before. I made it entirely myself, with his supervision and instructions. He even asked me to stay longer, which was so touching to me. So even though I didn't win a prize, this contest forced me to learn new things and gave me quality time with my dad, so it was worth it! (Also sent me into a severe allergic reaction when blowing up the balloons, since I'm severely allergic to latex but that's a whole different story...) This was the first year I've competed in the Triathlon, and I'm proud to say I finished! And yeah, Derby's pretty happy she has a full Merida costume and accessories and tickets to Disney World now. XD

    14. Congrats to the winners! Well-deserved all of you. (Had a strong suspicion that the epic Victorian thief would place somewhere, that entry was particularly brilliant and the tailoring was completely and utterly gorgeous. And that final photo!) And the Vogue entry was just gorgeous in every way, I was impressed by how very cleverly that piece was carried out.

I think my personal favourite was probably the little kid trying on mom's clothes. I thought that entry was adorable and really well thought out. And I really really enjoyed the dystopian scifi entries, the Mad Max scavenger, the lazy dude in the power armour with the murderous robot helper - I thought the imagination involved in those entries was particularly brilliant. And the tank-entry - adored the left-turn that took place in round two there, I really wasn't expecting the warrior queen twist!

Basically... Congratulations to everyone who got through this, I thought pretty much every entry had something fantastic going for it. But I have to admit I was amused by just how many sword/shield/throne entries there were - it seems an awful lot of us think alike!

Eeeh! We can now talk! My entry was Mr Bowie, massive thanks to everyone who enjoyed my entry enough to give it votes - I'm afraid indecision and space issues in my tiny British household properly interfered with my plans for the third round. I had wanted to do the plot of the album Outside - but had no clue how to portray the (possibly) unjustly on death-row plot line in a single photo... The eventual plan was a beige room with a transparent window (AKA the set of the musical Lazarus for anyone else who's seen it) overlooking the space landscape... But I simply didn't have the floor-space to do it properly. I couldn't get the panel with the window in it far enough away from the landscape and the camera to have it all showing properly, hence the bizarre hodgepodge that became my final entry. Half the stuff that ended up on the floor in that improvised shot was supposed to be 'outside' the prison-cell esque room I was planning.

And now questions for the tailors among us - Mr Bowie's frockcoat is tailored to him, following a period-pattern that I managed to dig out for guidance. It was the most frustrating part to actually work on - in the photos it's only about 90% of the way to the completion, I was hamstrung at the last hurdle by the fact that the DSAM35 has incredibly inhuman proportions. On actual Mr B the skirts of the coat hang down to just below his knees, on the incredibly elongated DSAM35, with the printed flag material correctly adjusted (long and painful method) the skirts were just too short with the correct pattern showing. Hence the slightly strange look of that bottom edge - I didn't have the heart to cut the fabric down to the correct pattern, but I think I'll have to add even more of a patchwork job using the remaining fabric to get something that looks the part with a proper hem.

As such as a complete and utter sewing noob I had no idea how to work with the fact that the lining goes right to the edge of the coat on the McQueen original. (The original pattern didn't have any info.) Full details under spoiler tags (but in summary by the end of that project I'd learnt why all of the tailors I'd contacted refused to make this item of clothing for me despite money being no object/why the vast majority of the cosplayers used paint - forcing patterned fabric to follow the design you see there accurately = nigh on impossible. I had to sew so many perfectly straight seams for this thing to force the pattern to work):

So... in detail - by the time the horrible flag fabric became the pattern pieces I'd already had to completely disassemble and restitch it together to get the correct proportions for the distances between the white lines and red/blue pieces. Everything you see is effectively a patchwork of triangles and white parallel lines (cleverly hidden along the print-lines of the fabric if I'm allowed to say so about my own work), however the flag-fabric obviously wasn't designed to last, as soon as it was cut it started to fray; it's very thin and relies on the print itself for strength, and doesn't even like being ironed all that much - the blue runs...

As such every pattern piece has a bit of thin white bed-sheet as interlining to reinforce it - the properly old-fashioned technique the Victorians used in lieu of bag-lining. Everything hung wonderfully with only the interlining, but as soon as I got into horrible necessity of the right-to-the-edges of the red lining (as used in the original) things began to ...not work. The red-lining has been understitched along the outer edges to stop it poofing forward visibly beyond the border of the outer fabric, however given how very thin the flag fabric is I don't think it did much to help there. Would interfacing along those coat-openings help there? Or would it further enhance the problems I was having with bulk? On the original coat McQueen has visibly prick-stitched through both the red lining and the outer fabric of the coat....

Or should I give in and swap out to a far thinner fabric for the lining? I do have some red satin somewhere but it's even nastier stuff than the flag material - however it is thin.

Basically I think I'm going to have to remake this thing entirely. But I'm asking for help/advice about the hang.

      Yes, yes and YES!
Having watched the original tv serie of Wonder Woman when I was a kid, I could totally relate to this scene!
      Couldn't be more accurate ;)

Seriously... Shark Baby with a chainsaw against the Peapul
<3 What's not to love about that <3
I am now hopelessly in love with this kid.

      "FOUR FEET TALL"
      This is amazing!

I was totally impressed at this awesome cosplay. :D
True, I'm biased for the "Legend of Zelda" licence...
But still :D Those tiny props and that last scene with the Guardian got me attached to this entry.

    17. When faced with this "fraying" issue, you can dab the freshly cut fabric edge with transparent nail polish.
I had to use this for my Gentleman Thief suit as some parts were too tiny to do a double fold seam.
As it dries, it will seal the fiber in place.
      =^.^=

I hope this can help for future work.
      Your coat is awesome!

    18. I also would like to add to honorable mentions from entries that didn't make it to the last challenge:

I was sincerely impressed by the boldness of this dress!
Paper towels, cling wrap and ink were used in a very creative way.
Though the dress looks ephemeral, is it beautiful.

To have created a whole suit out of a single shirt is an exploit in itself.
I would have loved to get to see her lucky fate.
This entry is beautiful and the sewing admirably well done <3

    19. Thanks, both for the tip and the complement! I bow down to your awesome skills - everything about that suit you made was perfect

    20. Oooh congrats to the winners!
It was a lot of fun and there were some amazing entries!
My entry was the colourful green doll in the Minoan outfit. I'm honestly pretty pleased with the outfit so it's nice to be able to add something to her wardrobe!

    21. @Vetinari hahaha I guessed right that Bowie was yours! One of my favs entries <3 I loved the mask Idea. I even showed my boyfriend your entry XD

@Lawrichai gosh your entry! Your photo! Wow. I sacrificed my doll's wig with the fake blood but I thought for a moment that you really have thrown out your window. Such a great photo!

    23. Congratulations to the winners! And to everyone who participated because there were some amazing entries. And thank you so much to the three to five people (depending if the same person voted for me on all rounds or not, haha) who voted for me! I'm glad you liked my entry, whoever you guys are. :aheartbea Mine was the pink to blue ombre dress. All in all, even though I didn't win, I'm glad I took part in this contest! It was my first of a lot of things, such as my first contest here, my first time working with sheer fabric (well, my second outfit ever so...), my first time doing paper mache, and my boy's first photoshoot, even if he didn't get to be in the picture 100%, haha. I look forward to joining again next year and hopefully I'll do better then!

    24. Thank you! :)I'm really glad people liked my entry! (And enough to show it to other people! :whee:
      )

I've got to admit, whilst they were the part of the Triathlon that I enjoyed making the most, I was a bit nervous about the masks. ...Given that the brief was for "a" prop. But... It seemed quite a few other people played as fast and loose with the prop definition as I did, producing items of scenery so it was a relief to see those.

    25. Darn, how could you possibly discover my secret identity! :XD: Haha, thank you though! I loved yor Merida too, the bow and arrows were so lovely and detailed!

    26. Voting was so immensely hard! I just loved so many of these entries :D I have to say, the Victorian thief was my fav and that last photo just marvelous - but Wonder Woman flying away in her invisible plane just blew me away! The little girl in her momma's things LOL LOL LOL and so many others! All the winners certainly deserved it - Yggdrasil with the garbage dragon - AWESOME!!!!

    27. I changed my profile pic to what my entry was
I really loved the fashion model and the Victorian thief they were lovely! I liked a few more but I'd have to go look at the voting threads again to remember because my memory is really bad. Congrats to all, though, and I look forward to participating again next year~ It was tons of fun!

    28. Shocked and so happy to have made it to 4th! I kept saying to my husband all along, "These kids are kicking my butt!" Honestly, this was the best, hardest contest ever. All of you are so talented, funny, smart and hard-working! Perhaps this will make up for the 3 pounds I gained eating all the junk from the wrappers on Garbage Dragon! Congrats to the other winners. I voted for each of you! Special love to Sucky Elephant Robot, Sharknato, Wonder Woman (you set fire to your set!!) Merida, Bowie, and Buried Musician! Lipstick Baby and Handmade Horse were also awesome. They all were. Thank you so much to all involved!

I've commented alright, somewhere in the first page of this thread ;)
But I'll add a few pictures to help grasp the fright this challenge gave me:

      ----------
A stretcher was made out of a desk easel and a book holder, attached with fish lines which were linked to sturdy outdoor cords. The latter was supported by my curtain rod and attached to a bigger easel in front of the window. (Plus 50 pounds worth of dumbbells sitting on that easel's base for stability)
The stretcher was completed with foam, lots of metal wires and tie wraps.

    33. The good news is: I was able to build all this without damaging the desk easel :D
Beside having a few new holes and screws in it, it's still working fine.

The bad news is: that book holder is a goner! So full of glue, tie wraps and metal it went straight to the trash can ;)

    34. Lawrichai, this is absolutely remarkable. The patience and innovation! Hats off to you!

    35. =^.^= Thank you
And I'll return the compliment for the intricate details that make Yggdrasil so visually impressive <3

    36. OH I almost forgot @BridgetKeely
I really liked your space babe because she's a look-alike to a friend of mine.
Her and I once did a "Barbarella styled" photoshoot and it was done in the same spirit as your entry :D

Your first entry picture on the black space background is so "space glamour", if it was made into a poster, I would definitely hang it to my wall. It's a fantastic picture in itself. =^.^=

    37. Yes, there was several posts about this very feeling of discouragement after the first voting results were out.
That's why I wrote a post to try and boost everybody's spirit. All three challenges were so different, there was bound to be one suitable for each's own abilities and interests :D

I'm very glad you kept it up until the end @CloakedSchemer , I really spend some time staring at your bow and wondering how the heck you sculpted it !! :?

    38. I noted how accurately you were able to reproduce a true Minoan pattern with the dress.
I've had quite an obsession for Minoan art and I could tell you knew exactly what you were doing :D
      If I could high-five you, I would! <3

    39. My dad was the genius behind the bow. It's not sculpted at all, but carved from real pine wood. He made a prototype, but it didn't dip in at the center like mine and I wanted that. So what I did was draw the bow on paper, then trace it onto a piece of wood. Then I used a dremel to cut out the basic shape and sand it with a belt sander until it was smooth on all edges. Once I was finally happy (and my dad had told me to fix certain spots that were too uneven or messy--he's a perfectionist), I used a furniture touch up marker on it to give it color, then sealed it and let that dry overnight. The handle part is embroidery thread wrapped tightly and glued in place, and the string is...a string. XD The arrows are bamboo skewers for grilling, with a slot cut in the end with an exacto knife for the paper "feathers" to fit in. (My dad pointed out after the fact that the "feathers" aren't supposed to be on the end of the arrow bc that part has to sit on the string, but....it was too late. lol) In the time it took me just to sand the bow, my dad had already fully created ANOTHER bow out of a very thick wire, trying to find that perfect idea. So now we have tiny bow parts all over. XD

I also want to say, your contraption to make your guy appear to be falling is impressive! I'm glad you showed how it was done, I didn't realize so much work went into that, you definitely deserve recognition for it. I'm sure the neighbors were really wondering what kind of doll torture device you had going on! hehehehe Very creative idea!

    40. OOOoohhhh Thank you for the details.
Now I feel like I need new hardware to try this out myself ;)

Most of them just stared and continue on their way. It's a metropolis, so seeing weird stuff isn't so disturbing. ;)
Though one old lady stopped and asked questions. She thought it was some sort of wall decoration that we were installing, with a baby in it ><

Fortunately, I had already warned our downstairs neighbors that we'd be doing stuff around their window for a few days, taking measures, testing out the height at which the stretcher should hang and so on...

I'm just glad it's done! It was a stressful moment =^.^= But I'm now very happy I did it.

    41. @Lawrichai I was really impressed with your photo for the third round, it's so nice to see how you achieved it! I'd have never guessed. I was just assuming it was a perspective stunt, but your method is far more interesting, haha. It inspires me to try being more creative with my photos in the future.

    42. Ahw thank you so much! <3 This was my entry and it really was half asses haha.
I loved your thief!! I loved the idea of the rope latter and how simple yet effective it was!
And like everyone else I was FLOORED by your story picture!!! I saw it and literally GASPED!! It might be the best doll photo I have ever seen in my 8 years in this hobby!
I am so happy you won!

And also a big congratulations to ALL the winners! It was all very much deserved!
      <3

    43. Congrats to all the winners.
@Lawrichai that final photo was awesome! It made me think of something many things I'd like to try (as well as things that I could have tried for my final photo :P)

@Masha your photo was so dramatic <3

@BridgetKeely I don't get sci-fi stuff, but she looks totally stranded XD

@ghostdollie I must admit I didn't get it at first, but it's a unique and cool concept.

As with others, the little girl pretending to be mommy was definitely a favorite, and I loved Athena's armor and shield detailing. From the first round also I loved the doll in the black top and dress (with a scythe in the 2nd round) simplistic but beautiful.

I had a hard time figuring out how I felt ^^; 5th place, so close yet so very far, I knew my photography was terrible T-T

For those who want to know, my Pseudonym was EternalLove and I'm probably known best here for my 2nd round's horse.

I enjoyed this triathlon (my 1st) and hope to enter again next year if I have time/feel inspired.

    44. Huge congrats to the winners, huzzah for the finishers and thumbs up to anyone who made a valiant attempt. The Triathlon is very exciting to read about even when I'm not entered.
Thank you to the DoA staff for their saintly patience and special warm heart-felt thank you to every prize donator, it means so much to see the gorgeous rewards you generously give to us in support of dedicated doll crafting. <3

      WELL DONE! :thumbup

    45. @Lawrichai thank you for a such compliment! :love after the contest I se clearly that I should focus my "doll efforts" more on non-standard materials, as I am not good in tailoring be honest

@Mew-Lidia9 thank you! <3 I tried to show a mental collapse in symbolic way and it was a huge challenge, my first try used a wheelchair and was much more literal, but then Mods decided about not using extra props not created especially for the contest.... I am glad they did so, it made me think twice and be more creative

    46. BOTH your horse and your dress were amazing!
You have shown to possess an impressive ability at dress making and even more so with how you found a way to create a posable horse with cardboard. :abow:

    47. I went back into the other challenges and forgot about another few who caught my eyes:

This headdress and this sword really deserve some attention and praise for the quality of the details.
I mean, even the sword blade has been detailed to make it look more realistic.
      Bravo :D

This magic fountain; so simple yet so visually effective at creating the right effect.
I mean, I would have never thought that styrofoam could be turned into such realistic volcanic rocks.
Makes me realize that sometimes, I tend complicate my life too much when I try to do props ;)

King of Altral and his phoenix blade. <3
His Princy outfit is delightful and so well done! I love everything about it!

    48. @Lawrichai this is me
      [IMG]
Thank you so much :whee:! At voting time I showed your entry to my husband and said "here's the winner :abow:"

@Mew-Lidia9 that horse!! I'd buy that horse. It was fantastic!

A bit about my entry: my son turned three in August and loves watching someone play Breath of the Wild and then pretending to be Link. As soon as I was done with the Guardian I put wheels on it, added a string, and let my son pull it around :3nodding:. It'd pretty hilarious to see it's arms bounce around down the hall way.

    49. @Masha pleasure. I'm glad you didn't use a wheelchair, it think it would have grounded? The image too much and lessen the effect? I'm not too good at photography and composition stuff though ^^;

@Lawrichai thank you :whee: sadly the horse is not as posable ad I'd have liked, :sweat, but it basically has a wire armature beneath the cardboard and holes cut into the places i wanted to be able to pose, and those parts were wrapped with cloth to add volume and stability, not sure if I'm explaining it well.
thanks a lot for the compliment on the dress especially, it feels like it got lost or there was little interrest (probably just me though:roll:)

@skyealloway thank you very much <3 I really appreciate it

Weird question maybe? My sister suggested I do a project journal of the horse, since we're sure a lot of peopl might want to give it a try or look at it? Is it allowed? Is it a good idea? I don't know:sweat

    50. @Mew-Lidia9 If it's any help, your entry was one of my favorites right from round one! I guess the dress just gets a little obscured by how crazy impressive that horse is, haha. I don't know why it wouldn't be allowed (but I'm no mod so don't take my word for it), but personally I'd love to see your process working on it.

    51. YES ! Please and Thank you! :D
I would love to know how you did it =^.^=
And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one!
      <3

    52. Congrats everyone! ^__^ Seriously, it was so hard to vote this year with all of the amazing entries. The amount of detailing and time that was put into each round was incredible.

Time got away from me so I wasn't able to finish round 3, but this has prepared me for next year. :)

    53. Congrats to winners! It was so much fun participaiting in this year's anniversary contests, so motivating :) My entry was the sword&crown girl (and the crown is a memory now as I've just remade the headdress xD )

    54. Congrats to all of the winners and participants! I can't even imagine the time, effort, stress and imagination that went into the entries.

    55. I've been with family for the weekend so I haven't gotten to reply to all of you lovely people! :D

@CloakedSchemer Thank you so much! I also love all things celestial :aheartbea I couldn't pass up the opportunity to make my dream outfit hahaha!

Thank you @Lawrichai :3nodding: that sounds great I would love to see it sometime! I love your perfectly tailored outfit :thumbup

It was difficult to vote this year! I enjoyed so many of the entries and I loved watching them evolve over time :dance I'm so grateful for everyone who voted for me :aheartbea I never thought I would be able to afford a full set, it's in incredible gift and opportunity. I bought Bedelia on DOA three years ago after leaving the hobby for a while. I came back because of the community and this has been a great example of why I collect dolls. Its fantastic being involved with so many creative, talented and friendly people :blush

    56. Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who finished the daunting triathlon. The entries were fantastic and well done. I love the imagination and creative use of recycled materials. The winning concepts and details were awesome and the photography was so well done. The triathlon is truly a test of creativity, endurance, and execution. Then add all the skills that go into the entries - sewing, construction, photography, literature, etc. Wow! Amazing.

    57. First of all congratulations to the winners. You truly did great! i could say good things about everyones entries but i feel i'd just repeat others so i am not going to, sorry.

Second sorry for not replying sooner to your compliment mew-lidia9. (btw your horse was phenomenal) I have been online but my mental health kept me from posting (nope still not doing well both mentaly and fysically after that stupid medication screwed everything up)

I was the one that made Athena.

i had the worbla on hand for a Valkyrie project i was doing last december, but i put it on hold, since i didn't have the time to finish it and found that i had gotten far to huge in the last couple of years so i decided i had to lose some weight. Because of this i had the huge sheet of worbla and next to no experience working with it (i had only tested the material out) The idea of Athena had allready come to my mind before and i thought this was a good opportunity. Sculpting is not one of my talents, but with the worbla and thibra it was a lot simpeler than i had expected. Some details are a lot more crude then i wanted them to be, but in the end i was really pleased with how things turned out. For my last photograph it was so sunny and hot outside that the wings on the shield had melted and warped (oops) so i had to put it in the freezer :)
The worbla wasn't the only material i had not worked with before i also had never attempted to make something out of wood, but after trying to craft a throne out of cardboard i decided that if i was going to put all the effort in i should make it durable (i have 2 sons so a cardboard chair isn't going to last long in this house) So i tried my hand at woodworking for the first time (bit of trial and error since using nails wasn't the right way to go, and i forgot to drill out the holes a bit to sink in the screws, in theory i knew what to do but in real life it's different, luckily for me i have seen my dad doing it's lots of times, but he wasn't on hand to help me out here in real life)

I always enter these competitions so i have a deadline to finish something and to try something i have not tried before. This year was a very succesfull run :) and i was happy to receive the votes i received (i came in 6th but that doesn't matter, (sound like i am not satisfied but that's not it a higher score was good but i lower score doesn't matter either) i saw i scored good in craftmanship in the first 2 challenges which is so incredibly nice to see since i did something new and that to me is a big win)

i hope to see you all in next years triathlon...............

    58. @Yuns Thank you very much <3 I really appreciate it :)

      @Lawrichai :thumbup

@allanieew No problem ^^ And thank you <3
I can't believe you're saying that you have next to no experience with it:XD: It looked really good, it makes me want to try working with worbla. Hope you feel better soon:(

I feel the same way with the votes, :sweatI probably sound like I'm unhappy, but I'm not.
I really enjoyed the event, especially because of all the awesome entries.

    59. Congrats to all the winners!!! :D they defiantly deserved it they were so awesome!! <3
How do we put the survivor thing in our signature though? :0

    60. ,... I had no idea how to do it, so I ended up right clicking one from another signature, selected " copy image address", then I went into my signature editor and added the link into the "image" icon on the bar up top ;)

If there is a "legit" way, I'd like to know it ;)
