I said I was going to do this months ago, but didn't get around to uploading them until now. Sorry for the lighting issues - in order to get things bright enough for my camera, I had to accept the shadows. You almost wouldn't know there are two windows in this room since they've been covered with .25" board. Many of the photos will show larger if you click on them.
Wow, what an amazing collection!!! Where did you find so much amazing doll furniture?? It's really interesting to see where my Qingyi came from too. XD
What a beautiful doll family you have! But I must admit, my favorite feature is all of the exquisite chairs.
This is amazing! I get the feeling that you worked hard on each doll individually even though you have so many! I see a lot of bjd owners with a lot of unfinished dolls and it makes me sad. Your set up reminds me of a bright, indoor mansion setting. This is definitely what I want to aspire to!
Wow, so many dolls and all put together so wonderfully! I love your set up, your furniture, and of course, your doll collection!!
Wow! What an incredible setup! I hope I can do something this cool someday with my dolls. I love that you call it the current state of resin insanity. It sounds like the name of a book or movie. Haha. Or even a really cool band. Love it!
Thank you for this. I will never again feel that I have too many dolls. Wish I had room to set up a permanent display. Your setup is awesome!
wow!! such an amazing collection. i love how they all look like theyre at a party or meetup of some kind !
I knew I was going to get comments on the furniture. Thanks, everyone! @raphaelxxii: A quick head-count says I have 54 in total at the moment, not including pet dolls, the two up for sale, or a handful of additional heads. One didn't get into the photos, though. My Luts Griffon is hanging out at the computer in the other room. Yeah, it's a lot. @keelerleah: As far as I can remember, all the furniture was found on ebay. Quite a lot of it is vintage, and some of them were salesman's samples. It takes a lot of patience and knowing what dimensions to look for. @astertea: Well I try, but I'm afraid not everyone is complete yet. Two of the gray dolls have no faceups because I'm supposed to be modding them first. I haven't gotten the courage up to do it yet. @vermont chick: Er... glad to help? I know, it's pretty crazy. This is what happens when you don't stick to your rule of only two new dolls a year.
Totally amazing set-up! And so many dolls, so many characters. ♡ Very nice - your room has a vintage feel. ♡
Everyone has a nice place to sit! :eyepop: (I love the "bedtime story") It's really fun to see those Iplehouse sculpts in a natural setting too--they look so much better to me than the store promos. And the Ice Dragon toes are Congratulations on a wonderful doll family!
all those little chairs! It's like a garden party at the salvation army furniture center! I love it! They are all so different!
I am in awe of your collection. I like how they're sitting having conversations with each other - as I always imagined dolls do when their owners are away!
Wow! Wow wow wow! What a wonderful.... not a one isn't stunning! Amazing! I guess I need to stalk your posts, LOL
Oh my gosh! They are all so amazing! I love all the furniture and the window you put on the wall! What a great space! I don't know how you find time for them all! They all look so well cared for. Great set up! Thank you for sharing.
Your collection is amazing. Loving all the Iplehouse dolls. Your photos are just fine. There's hardly any shadows anyway.
Thank you all! There's actually been a few more arrivals since these were taken. Maybe I should swap out a few of the last pics. More or less? It's hard to do anything in there without having to step around them, anyway. And their stuff takes up at least half of my drawers. (I've got one for wigs, one for heads and appendages, two for props...)
What a lovely doll family. I particularly love the girl in the habit/head cover. She's very elegant and pretty
