Oops. I literally commented so I could plead for a YouTube link. Um... Oh! I wish I owned a kiln so I could make my own porcelain BJDs.

 

Granted! The kiln takes so much electricity that you no longer have any money for dolls or DIY materials after paying the energy bill.

I wish I had a space to safely cast resin in.

 

Granted! You do have the space, but the supplies become impossible for you to gather due to them being out of stock everywhere or just impossibly pricey.

I wish I could magically dye a hybrid doll with part from different companies the exact same shade of tan.

 

Granted! Its the darkest tan possible so the whole doll is the color of black coffee. But they all match perfectly!

Granted! They all arrive the same day, but all of them are unstrung and they didn't include any elastic for them.

Granted! But though it's easy to create patterns, every piece of clothing you sew never fits just right- always a bit too tight or baggy for it to look good.

I miss some of the older DOA posts long since deleted. For example I would love to see again that amazing 1/3 octopus body from 15(?) years ago. It was truly stunning.

Granted! You will find all the extra parts you want for your old dolls. Yellowing matching perfectly but all the pieces you find are chipped or cracked.


I wish Charmdoll sold heads only too. I would love an awake version of my Sleep Eric for my sleepy character

 

Granted, but they're always sold out of the color you'd need.

I wish companies would start making more 62cm boys again

 

Granted! But they stopped making girls in that scale.

I wish more doll companies would show dolls without faceups in listing photos.

 

Granted, but they no longer have any pictures of the doll bodies.

I wish more doll companies sent their dolls with underwear, or pyjamas sets.

 

Granted! But all bodies are now sculpted just to look okay under clothes (no details, no muscles, just jointed cylinders and melon boobies)

I wish smaller 1/3 girls had more modern/flat shoes to choose from!
