Discussion Thanks for the Memories! (Quick, quick, last day!)

I'd like to give a shout out to Half.Jak who made my chance with dolls possible! She's an amazing person and I can't thank her enough! To InsaneChan, THANK YOU SO MUCH. There is no amount of thank you I can say to you for letting me adopt your Yder for 5 hours! I've never been so close to my dream doll and I couldn't have had an experience like that. Thanks again! Kife! You'd better be reading this! Our constant PMs and conversations make me smile, no matter how random they are. I hope to meet you, Friday, and Honey someday! And the rest of the weekly gang. Good luck on your ventures dear! I'll PM you soon enough. Gunter von Christ, you are such an awesome person! I'm really glad I met you at the meet-up way back in March. Your boys are absolutely beautiful and I was overjoyed to see dolls that I had my eyes on for quite a while. We didn't talk much, but I hope to see you again soon!

I never thought I'd meet such amazing doll-lovers in my general area and it makes me so happy to have met you all. I miss you all to death and I hope this note reaches you somehow!

I'd also like to give a shout out to all the mods, virtues, and everyone I've talked to! You all have made my experience here so much better and I enjoy every minute of my time here! Thank you so much for everything you do! I look forward to spending more time with you all!

 

My dearest memory i think is joining, when i logged in was like Wow! All that info and threads! It was like see everithing with new eyes because i was very new to bjd.
My favorite threads are in the workshop, i really apreciate the people who made tutorials and who share their knowledges.
Thanks to Twigling, Kaye, Patl, Donn, Batchix, Jean, Dollist and so much people who get me inspired with their works.
I haven't done a lot of friends and also haven't explored all of DOA, but i come daily
This month was so fun, thanks to all who made this posible. I will remember the contests a lot (i feel like if were the olympic DOA games XD ha ha).

 

If it weren't for the Marketplace, I wouldn't have been able to purchase my darling Miss Bell, my Beryl. ;w; Seriously, the best thing, thanks marti. And a thousand thank-yous to curiouscourtships for modding IO. I can't wait to see him completed! ^-^

A shout out to all the girls in the DoD and Luts' waiting rooms when I was waiting on my first doll!! Aisu, Ella, JinMay, RainbowCheckers, Kereneko, Squishtaru, and so, so, so many others, as well as PuriYoru for taking the chance to get to know me. You guys really helped me immerse myself in DoA and the dollery, and were my first "BJD friends"....thank-you.

JennyNemesis for being an all-around awesome lady. You know what's up. ;D

And my sweet college roommate, taintedrose. If it weren't for DoA, she and I would've never met and been able to share in our love for BJDs together everyday!

DoA has given me endless hours of enjoyment over the years. Without it, I never would have been able to get my dream doll, my holy grail, my beloved lilac Batchix Machina Alpha right here in the marketplace (the wonderful seller, torimiko, was so kind as to let me put her in layaway so I could stretch my humble budget to obtain her.) "Quadrophenia" is so very special to me. And come to think of it, it was seeing another wonderful Machina Alpha in the Gallery (ranmanekineko's Kixy in this thread http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=221075 ) that made me fall in love with the sculpt in the first place. So a big thanks to DoA and the Mods who keep it all running smoothly...you've definitely enriched my life!
