Holy crap. Okay. This thread makes me so happy~

Dybbuk/Nat: You are as true a friend as they come, and I am absolutely thankful to have known you for a few years now. You're always so gracious with my questions and so patient with me and my random issues outside of the hobby. I absolutely adore you, I admire your kindness and generosity, and I hope that we can continue being friends for a very long time. Thank you, so, so much Nat. T__T

Erratic Rhapsody: You've enriched my life immensely, and I am so glad we can be friends outside of the hobby as well. Thank you for your willingness to meet with me while maintaining such a cheerful disposition!

Amet, sephyelysian, garnet7, littlegreythings, Sicktress, shirahime: Without all of you, bjds would be so dull. You've all encouraged me and stuck by me throughout my weird doll transitions and I can't thank any of you enough for your kindness.

I'd love to thank DoA for existing, and all the Mods who make it possible!
Also, several Mods have helped me along the way when my post stray, or other silly mistakes I make; they are understanding and kind with me.
On a side note, I'd like to thank the company Angel of Dreams for making the BJD's I enjoy!

I wanted to get into this hobby since I was 12/13 years old, but I couldn't.
I couldn't make up my mind for what company to get what sculpts from, how many dolls, and in what sizes.
About 14 years later, my husband encouraged me to make decisions and jump into the hobby.

I stalked sdrcow, EleanorAnne, Zeta-Byte, blinkeke, ArienDragon, gr8story, Dhampir & Kathami on Google, DeviantArt, and Flickr... they were my beginning.
I bought my first BJD, Melfina, a used AoD I found on Flickr; and shortly after I became a member of DoA!

Then Mysteriousmage, Asyris, annalinehalo, (among others) were in the "AoD Waiting Room" with me.
They encouraged me in all the crazy ups and down's of my boy's Gene and Harry coming home.
They were shipped the day my Grandpa died... everything was a mess... I was glad to have people to talk to, and a hobby to get into.

When my boys finally arrived they were on the wrong body's. (Gene's was non-muscular, and Harry's was female!)
That's when catw07 answered my call for "muscular/old" male AoD's!
She sold me two old style boys who (after a few body swaps) became Ron and Fred.
Then the company sent a correct male body for Harry.

I finally felt like everything was starting to come together... but my BJD dreams needed a little help.
I commissioned seven sets of Outlaw Star "cosplay" outfits from Marishka for most of my bjd's, and future bjd's.

For now... I'm venturing on, following tutorials, making friends, having fun, and trying to help others.

-Tygati for writing some exquisite short-short fiction pieces in Lalyraa's threads;
-Fishcake for being a never-ebbing fount of inspiration and laughs and random body-parts;
-Rabbit-Moon for always sensing when I've posted photos of Miroslav, and being one of his 2-3 faithful fans over 7 years;
-pris84 for sending me imp-wigs and tirelessly travelling to so many events where I happen to be, not to mention long-distance-starting half the meetups we have in San Francisco;
-SDink and Nanyalin for dropping my jaw every time;
-Hobbywhelmed and Aernath and Baakay for your particular, sustained, inimiatable flavors of inspired lunacy;
-luluna & dannyboy for owning all the EIDs/SIDs I want but can't store in my own home;
-StrangeAngels for the amazing pants, materials-science advice, resin surgery, and moral support;
-Snowleopard & dannyboy for hosting all those raucous parties where grown men & women knock back a couple three-four bottles of wine and pull the heads/wigs/pants off each other's dolls for fun;

Awww thanks to you too Cutiepie! I have made some really awesome friends in this hobby and they have all been super nice and generous. I have throughly enjoyed my time here on DoA and can't wait for the future!
