1. Is there someone on DoA you'd like to thank? For introducing you to the hobby? For supporting your goals? For their general awesomeness within the realm of this hobby? Now's your chance!

2. Thank you writtenlullabye for sending me a DoA invite. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you!

Thank you, Orca and Faerie_Speak, for joining me on some of my first BJD meet-ups! You both helped me to open up more to new people, whether you know it or not. :)

4. Thank you, JennyNemesis. The photos of your boys always make me stop and say 'whoa!'

5. I want to thank Tygati, for being awesome and giving my first doll a good home, as well as all the things you did for him when he was still mine. :)

I also want to thank SakuraHaru for being the most amazing friend I could have ever asked for, in the hobby and out. :aheartbea

Also all of my friends off in Portland, OR and elsewhere. I miss sharing my doll experiences with you guys!

Micchi for always inspiring me and helping me expand my resin kids back stories with your awesome.

7. Thank you Clap-For-Carolyn for selling me my Resinsoul Song, Avalon. I love him so much I couldn't think of a better first resin doll. ^^

Also a big thanks to all the people in the Kid Delf, Resinsoul/Bobobie and Magical Angel threads...For putting up with my indecisiveness on choosing BJD's. You guys are awesome. XD

8. A HUGE Thank You to dhawktx for all the help and advice she has given to me and so very many others. You are awesome, and I am so honored to have you as a friend!:abow:

9. Thank you to the many wonderful people I've gotten to meet and enjoy this hobby with over the years! My boyfriend sleep_pattern who is rad, as well as the many lifelong friends I've made here, like R727, timchener, briknits, plasticfantastic, agentpanda, Laelen, Gockt and a ton of other people who's DOA monikers I am unfamiliar with. Merci merci for walking down this wonderful doll road with me thus far. And I look forward to the majestic things we all do in the future. <3

And thank you to all the magnificent unicorn moderators who take so much time to make the forum run smoothly and beautifully~

10. I have several fangirl-type thank-yous...
To Quiet Queen and The Dragon for all the kind and patient answers about Unoss leading up to me deciding that this odd and charming girl was right for me too, and for the photos documenting Unoa Akubi and Ijime. It's a pleasure to follow your collection.
To Ashbet for sharing so much knowledge with newer Unoa Freaks.
To Madam Mau Mau for keeping us at the edge of Awe and Hilarity with feats of doll transformation magic.
And to D.ark:aangel:

11. Thank you AerynAerie for showing me how wonderful the people in this hobby can be. You were nothing but kind to me - that first random PM; the gifts you sent; being the first other doll collector I ever met up with; taking pictures together; and even letting me, at the time a stranger with little no experience with anything BJD-related, paint (one of your many) precious Gackt heads - and I really, deeply, truly appreciate it.

Seriously. Words can't express how thankful I am that you reached out to me 4 years ago. I probably wouldn't be such a community-oriented person if you hadn't been the one to show me how awesome it is to connect with other hobbyists. :aheartbea

12. Oh man, I have some very serious thank yous to so many people here! Den of Angels has been my home base since I was fourteen, thirteen. I've grown up with so many of you, and I'm happy that some of you are still around!

My thanks to!:

- Christy, who was the first person who made me motivated enough to stop lurking on DoA, and start posting. I looked up to you in so many ways, and your dolls took my breath away each time. Also a shout to zoi_no_miko, who introduced me to dolls.

- Nezumitoo, who has been a big role model for me. You and syrinfox are some of the most earthily creative people I know, and you inspired me to do a 'serious', medieval story arc, with dolls. You've also returned so many of my letters, and you inspired me to start doing my own mods.

- Lachlana and Krowbar, who are both artists with such distinct art styles that I've had the pleasure of seeing evolve over the years. You both also inspire me to keep working on my dolls, to paint them (or to at least try!) myself. Your dolls are so unique and are not afraid to see the beauty in ugliness. I respect citronrouge and admire Bluoxyde for the same reasons! I hope to see your dolls forever to come!

- Morbidollz, Belladonna, and frozenwings: It has been so lovely and meaningful to connect with you all. It has been so lovely to know you and your boys, to receive messages from you, and to see what awesome things you ladies are always getting up to.

- to the old moderators, like FairEmma, Zag, and aremeleia, who have always been so diplomatic and who have taken this forum so seriously. You brought the community together!

- old friends galore: my Internet bestie, Sakhmet. Jlostein, Gunter Von Christ, Laforeze, navci, chiseen, somnifer, Ban Sidhe, Snow, so many others, especially locals whom I know personally. I'm grateful to know so many of you, and even though we don't always talk, I love it when we have those moments to connect. Thank you for being a part of my life. Redastor, so many! I know I'm leaving a lot of you out, but you're all on my friend list. Thank you all.

- many new friends, too! Elijahfeathers, violetproof, asuka_langley, dang. I've met so many new people this year, and I have so many people who randomly look at my dolls or believe in them, or what I've done with them. The den has gotten so big, here, but somehow there are always more people to meet, who being fresh air to the community and whom I have nothing but respect and admiration for. Thank you for joining me! :)

- I'm also thankful for those who I've either completely lost touch with, or whom I am no longer friends with. I care about you all, and the times we've connected mean so much to me, still. You know who you are. Hope all is well for you!

And really, I know there's more. I just can't list them all, so a part of me just wants to put a big rainbow, 'EVERYBODY' up there. Thanks to people I don't even know yet, or who aren't here yet? It's exciting to think of what the future has in store for us all.

Happy ninth, DoA! :)

13. I'd like to thank the Elfdoll Catsy thread regulars for their feline appreciation, Cattwo, DanceCat, spencers_mom, Valli, mimmeli, stripeybelly (I love your name), and Kitty Blue --am I forgetting anyone? I always feel at home with the kitty fans.

And I'd like to thank hobbywhelmed for her friendly helpfulness, both before and after her modship!

AND, I want to thank anyone who's ever commented on one of my photos--it means a lot to me. Plus everyone I've ever had a marketplace transaction with--they've all turned out beautifully.

14. I've been toying with posting this for a while, and finally decided I would.

Back in September 2010 an earthquake struck my city of Christchurch, New Zealand - it caused a lot of damage in the very central city where I lived, but generally there was nothing more than some minor injuries. However, the brick building my partner and I lived in was very badly damaged, and we had to leave and live with my parents for a while. The worst part was we couldn't find our cat, Vergil, when we first left at just after 4.30am, and it was a week before my partner managed to get in through the cordon to get him out. People on the PukiPuki thread of DoA were so sweet and saying they hoped I found a new flat soon, and posting lots of happy spam for me, and one member, Rio99, sent my PukiPuki Porridge a parcel, which also had a cat toy for Vergil in it (it is STILL one of his favourites!)
Housing in my city was never easy to find, and I became pretty down-trodden about finding a new house for us. While we were at my parents, I bought my first pukifee, a Zoe who I ended up calling Hope, because I felt I needed a little! She came home, and was perfect, and I just adored her. The most exciting part was that she got to arrive home to a new flat - about a month before I finished paying her off from Denver Doll, our application to a new flat was accepted - for a while, everything was absolutely perfect.
Then, on the 22nd of February 2011 another earthquake struck my city. It was a magnitude 6.3 and only 5km deep (for anyone who doesn't know earthquakes, the magnitude and the depth both affect the severity. 6.3mag 5km deep is not good). 185 people were killed. Luckily, our new house was a wooden cottage, and it survived the earthquake very well. However, the central city was being cordoned off, and it was where we were living. Having stayed there that night with my sister as well (who had been in the very central city when it hit, and my parents couldn't get in to pick her up) we organised for my parents to pick us up with Vergil (the cat) the next morning, and to head to my partner's grandparents. They were in another city at the time, and their property wasn't damaged so it was the best place for us. So we stayed there. After about a week we ended up walking around to my uncle's house, who was just around the corner, and traded cooking them dinner to use their internet - some areas were still completely without phone, internet, water and power, we were very lucky to have access to all four. I logged onto my emails, and found a flood of PM notifications from DoA members saying that they were worried about me, and hoped that my family and I were okay, and that they were thinking of me. I couldn't check the thread that much because the internet was pretty limited, but I managed to get a quick post to say I was okay, and so was my family - resin and flesh alike (and Vergil - he got a lot of love out of this!), and that I'd read everyone's PMs when the net wasn't so bad. When I eventually did manage to get a good connection, it was so absolutely humbling to have all these people from around the world worried about me - as soon as the PukiFee thread knew the quake had hit, people were saying "Hey, doesn't MissCarrion live in Christchurch?" and asking if anyone had heard from me. One person even posted the link to a missing people's list, asking if anyone had my full name to check I wasn't on it.
I still have all the PMs that people sent me over those few days before I managed to get a post to say I was alright, and I still get very emotional reading them and knowing that people were so worried about me when they had never met me, it was truly a heartwarming and humbling experience.

So I wanted to say thank you to Rio99 and the gang from the PukiPuki thread in September 2010, and to all the members who sent me PMs in February 2011 (there are quite a few to list and I figure this post is long enough already) as well as the PukiPuki thread members and the PukiFee thread members - you all truly made a very difficult time that little bit easier, knowing that there were people who were helping the only way they could - messaging me to make sure I was okay, and posting pictures of their beautiful dolls to make me smile and laugh even when there was so much sadness around me. It is one of the few good memories I have from that time, and I will remember it for the rest of my days <3

And thank you to the DoA mods for running DoA so amazingly - without you guys running this place, not only would the above experience not have happened, but I don't know how on earth I'd procrastinate in lectures without DoA!

15. Oh my gosh, MissCarrion, that was a really emotional read! I am glad we have such thoughtful, caring members on this forum. :D Much love to you all!

My own specific thanks goes out to a few:
- ravendolls, who I am pretty sure is magical
- bagofspiders and Wellermade, fellow collectors who never fail to inspire me
- wildwoodflower, a truly amazing hobbyist with a huge heart

And most of all Melime, my best friend in the world who not only puts up with my silly expensive hobby, but endeavored to join me in it. We have completely different aesthetic tastes and buying practices and even fundamental ways we enjoy the hobby, but she has never been anything but completely supportive and wonderful. She has listened patiently while I rambled on about strange doll concepts, shared my joy when I found my grail dolls, helped me track down and return a stolen doll to its rightful owner, accompanied me into the sometimes-scary world of local doll meets, and welcomed me into her home at odd hours to fix a "dolly emergency." She has always been there to lend an ear or a hand, even when I know she thinks I've finally gone 'round the bend. This is the mark of a true friend. Melime, thank you. Here's to sixteen awesome years of friendship together and many more to come!

16. There are a lot of people who deserve salutations, but the one I most want to thank is ragdoll. Her sewing tutorials have been a priceless help and resource to me; they gave me the courage to start making doll clothes when my only previous experience was sewing on buttons, and they've been just as useful ever since. They are a terrific guide whether you handsew or have a machine, or use both, and I refer to them all the time. Not only would my babies have much less to wear without her, I would never have had the nerve to tackle custom-fitted anything without her awesome pattern-free design method. My little family, my confidence and I all owe her a lot =)

Many, many thanks, ragdoll! :chocoheart

17. MissCarrion, it's so good to see how members of this hobby helped you through such a rough time.

As for me, I have a few people to thank. Chayanne, who inadvertently introduced me to the hobby by sharing images of her beautiful dolls within the pages of a completely different fandom. Rishimsin, who befriended me at my very first meetup and has been a constant and true friend since then (and who sadly is now in another state). The entire moderation team, who inspire me with their constant dedication to this place and their positive attitude in dealing with the tons of stuff necessary to keep this place running. Idrisfynn and St. James, who have done a great job mentoring me and answering stupid questions, and Anna who is a great mod, great friend and who has dolls I am quite jealous of. And of course Armelia, who keeps the dream alive for all of us.

18. Thank you to d.ark for being so welcoming and friendly, especially when I started out in the hobby. The hobby just isn't the same without you. :aangel:

Thank you to my fellow mods, who are all super fabulous and dedicated, and thank you to the Drudgeons who answer the call whenever there are tricky questions that need answering!

19. Hoo boy, bear with me guys, this is going to be a really long list. A good exercise in counting my blessings for sure! I'm going to try for chronological order here...

My dear krazikupo, who has been one of the greatest and kindest friends for more than a decade of my short 23 year-old life, for introducing me to BJDs, encouraging me whenever I felt down, sharing your wonderful life with me an injecting cheer into my days. We may be too busy to talk 24/7 like we used to, but I always know that if I happen to contact you at any time with any thing, I can depend on you to answer. Geographical barriers have never been an issue with us!

satyrsmoon, Anneke, Glowbee, ;U; for a person who started out quiet here on the forums and was dipping her toes into running GOs, you are the best people I could have ever crossed paths with. Thank you for all your patience, kindness, and most of all, trust. :) You guys taught me how business could still have that special personal touch and be pleasurable.

Cloudedmind, chienism, navci, hitomifrens, Carmen, Smaug, bamna, Den-shi, Draa, I can't even begin to describe how thankful I am to all of you. I remember each and every time you guys commented, pmed, and critiqued me seriously on my ongoing pursuit of skills for customizing, helping me learn better techniques, encouraging me to keep going, and taking me seriously under your wings!! I wouldn't be half the artist, and half the person, I am today without you guys. Your works continue to inspire me. I may not be able to speak to you guys all the time, but I always know your friendly faces around the forum :)

Praesagium, I really have to give a special shout out to you. XD We may have met in the business circumstance of a new GO host and a participant, but I'm so happy to have your attentive and sincere friendship grow from that. You are someone truly wonderful.

fransyung, rainwaltz, It's so fun and lovely getting messages from you guys every now and then, xD really brightens my day! Thank you for all that you have done for me, ^U^, letting me harass you with questions of photography or just general craze over dollies and life. I would give my kidneys [one each of course] to be able to meet you guys one day and fawn over your amazing collections.

Gockt [a million times] , sleep_pattern, feral5, we haven't known each other for long, but I feel like we've known each other forever. Unicorns, unite! I'm honestly perplexed at how we did not really meet sooner XD.. We're already family, don't make me rant about how awesome you guys are. Gockt, thank you for putting up with my silly kfangirlishness and teaching me your ways. XD You guys make me laugh so hard that I'm sure I'll have rock-hard abs one day.

Last and certainly not least, a huge thank you to armeleia and the staff, both past and present! Quite literally, none of us would be here without you. St. James, idrisfynn, Jescissa, FairEmma, for guiding me as well with all my crazy newbie mod questions ~ (there were a lot, I know). I know sometimes we have our down days, but I definitely feel lucky to have the privilege of working with everyone, because it's definitely helped me grow as a person :)

And of course, a big thank you to all of Den of Angels. There's ups, there's downs, but in the end, DoA has become a huge part of my life that I would be sad to leave. I don't know everyone, but I hope you all can find something about the forums that you love as much as I do. It's so easy to reach out to someone here, and just be the first to send that friendly pm that leads to lasting bonds. I hope to see you at Dollism next year!

20. I'd like to thank the ladies and gentlemen in the BlueFairy TF discussion thread, who always make me feel welcome.

21. thank you so much shamandalie for inviting me to join the forum! it will always remain in my heart! <3

thank you so much elendae-narsil for being the saviour of the split i participated in! i will never forget your kindness! :D

22. I've thanked a lot of you over the years and probably forgotten to thank a whole lot more :). You're all wonderful, and I continue to be grateful for all of you whether I am in touch with you here or elsewhere! But this year I want to add special thanks to TMar, whose continuing good cheer, funny stories, shared love of dolls, Minecraft, Kenshin and music, and overall enthusiasm for life, have been a real anchor for me during a year I would not soon want to repeat. Thanks so much.

23. I'd like to thank briknits and agentpanda, along with all the others who give up a weekend (or many) to make Doll North a reality every year. I don't want to list everyone in fear I'll forget someone, but you know who you are! I am proud to call you all my friends :)

Even though this goes back a couple years, I'd also like to thank Buff for helping me finally find the Paige that I always knew was in my Unidoll girl but didn't show herself until she got the lovely new faceup. Now she's perfect and I love her!

24. Ah... I hope we are allowed to edit the post afterwards, because I am sure I'm forgetting someone! :doh
But, this is such a great way for an anniversary!!! :aheartbea

First of all, I'd like to thank my friends (on and off the forum!) who have stayed with me through my ups and downs. We grow together in this hobby and I hope we have many, many more years ahead as friends! :) DarkRu, ticuk, Shinka, Vienni, kirara_shine, alice99... Thank you! (_ _)

Second of all, my fellow DoA members that I have met in real life, in doll meets and other events... You have been so kind to me and I hope we will continue to become friends and meet again many times in the future! :loverhapsodies, Jo77, rainwaltz, gabriel, St. James, idrisfynn, MacaronTea, Holo's Apple Tree, and many more whose usernames I must search for and then edit into this! xD Thank you! (_ _)

Third, last but not least, to my friends on the forum, who have been so kind to me through the years, answering random posts and PMs... sakuraharu, Lautturi, Laelen, JennyNemesis, Izam, armeleia, AquaSpiral, Knibitz, Dybbuk, Gunter von Christ... :whee: a really big Thank You!! (_ _) ...and a very special one to PacificBlue, who has become my best friend and partner in crime... Thank you so much! (_ _)

25. Wow. So hard to think of individuals to thank...

I joined DoA a few months after it became the forum we know it as today, so my 9th anniversary as a member is coming up soon! That's a LOT of years and a lot of thanks to think of!!!

I really want to thank everyone on DoA -- Those who posts photos of their lovely dolls. Those who participate in contests like the Anniversary ones, who show such wonderful energy and creativity. Those who answer questions and share their knowledge. Those who make DoA such a wonderful, inspiring, informative experience!!! I really can't thank you enough!!!

... I'm not sure I should thank you all for being such ENABLERS, however! But, hey, that's mostly my fault! :doh

Lately, I've been very impressed by the friendliness of the Granado Discussion thread.

Before that--all the folk posting their gorgeous Iplehouse EID and SID pics in the photo and discussion thread.

It's just so wonderful that the love of those particular dolls is so strong and moving!

Love all the folks who work on the San Diego BJD Con: brucedabold and all his hard-working and creative minions. It's still just a one-day con, but going for 4 or 5 years now and it's always a fantastic event. AND there will be another one to look forward to this year!

Aichan for organizing two small-medium but lovely BJD cons in No. CA.

elf-ears for working on the San Diego cons and for being one of the first of the folks I knew pre-bjds to pop up on DoA to welcome me to the madness...

Mercy-- who was the first person I know of who was into bjds (she was into bjds before she bought a Volks Shirou Tachibana in 2003, joined DoA in August 2004--and was in the yahoo group), and who introduced countless folks into the madness (but not me, since I can get into trouble all on my own!). Another great pre-bjd friend who has been a lot of fun and support for years... I've had one of my photos and many of my dolls featured in FDQ Magazine because of her. She got me into the Volks TeaParty at the L.A. Mansion where I got my first Volks, a One-Off Shiro, back in 2006.

clochette-- for arranging and running the San Diego Comic Con meetup and panels over the years, taking time out of her busy con schedule... And for all the other lovely doll-related things she does (her informative posts, her lovely Pixidust Designs clothing, etc.)

PamSD-- for all the fantastic Meets and Potlucks she held at her home. For her beautiful clothing and doll customization and continued dolly-activities.

Ms Cholong-- for being such an energetic doll-meet organizer. She ran so many meetups at Artmaze, her Elfdoll, then DollHeart store, and continues to hold parties as the US DollHeart rep. and just as herself!. Her love of dolls continues to be strong after many years.

ayase001-- for making lovely, fun clothes for my dolls and for letting me PM her a LOT.

Aimee Major Steinberger-- Props for creating/founding and administering DoA. Alway a great inspiration.

And to all the dolly-folks I've met over the years!!! You all make having dolls so much more fun! :aheartbea

26. A friend has just alerted me to this post. Thank you so much for your kind thanks, and I will join you in thanking D.ark for being a generous-hearted collector who would help anyone who needed it with her encyclopaedic knowledge of Unoas, an inspiring human being and basically the best friend a person could wish for.

27. I'd like to thank Misskittytwisted and Takhisis for letting me drool over their hunks of resin and providing an ear for me to talk about all things doll as I have no one in my family who is interested. They also give me fantastic gifts and provide advice and support by the ton. Thank you girls :D

28. i would like to thank MissAlly. ♥ she is the bestest dollie friend ever.

29. Thank you Dove Heart, for helping me get started on this hobby, and everything else since then + the pasta. :)

30. D'aawwwwwwwwww, thank you! :chibi My first thought upon seeing this thread was "I gotta post about Laelen!" You are one of my favourite people on the forum, before and after you accomplished moddom! Hopefully someday I can join the team and become as awesome as you are. I can't express all the gratitude and affection I have for you and all the kind words you've had for me here and on FB (especially since you let me flood your newsfeed, muahaha). The butterfly fridge magnets you sent me are still my favourites and make my kitchen so pretty :D

I have to list a shoutout to my roommate Haneino Tsukiko as well. We've only been friends since last December when she came to my dolly Christmas party for the first time, but you've been an amazing friend and influence in all the time we've spent together. You're also a horrible enabler that gives me more ideas than either of us have the funds for. Here's hoping the rest of 2013 treats us better, and we can further our experiments in vinyl together!

I also want to thank Madam Mau Mau for being a wonderful, friendly, creative person with the most beautiful dolls I have ever seen in my six years of being into the hobby. I want to be you when I grow up!

Zagzagael, I also must thank you. You were always helpful to my clueless newbie self way back in the day and combined with Madam Mau Mau, you are both my inspirations in the BJD hobby. I hope my dolls and photography are as beautiful as yours someday :aheartbea

Highpriestessice, I'm declaring my love for you as well! Your creativity inspires me, your jewellery blows me away and I am always eager to read your new posts on tumblr and elsewhere just to see what you're doing or how you're feeling that day. I also have to kinda envy you for having a secret admirer on tumblr!

31. Thank you to Dhawktx for sharing your knowledge and for your friendship! Thank you to Mayday for being there and helping a newbie out!

32. I'm tearing up here. Thank you so much, Praesagium. Not sure you'd REALLY want to be me when you grow up. I'm more trouble than I'm worth. Just saying... ;)

33. Aww you guys beat me to it with your thanks to MadamMauMau and her beautiful dolls, fantastic photography and wit. thank you!

34. Stop it! You are getting me all emotional here. No, thank you, really. I must start posting some more pictures on here again. *Goes off to start a catch up thread in the Gallery*.

35. HUZZAH!!:fangirl:

36. They are! Both you and JennyNemesis... And I must thank SDink, too. How can I forget such awesome and creative photographer?

37. Heh. Well, your dolls and your vision ARE pretty damn amazing! I can see why you're getting the props. Very well-deserved! (oooh, do we get to see you shed a tear???) :wiggle :thumbup :D

38. If we are dispensing photography kudos, I'd like to mention my favorites. I love to play on the photo game threads and I see the work of some very skilled and innovative people whom no one ever mentions to my knowledge.
Frank and Katyok are on the top of my list. I've also been noticing July822 and shrinkomatic lately.
Love your stuff, keep it coming.

Wow I wouldn't even expect to see my name pop up here since I have lurked more than ever now, but thanks fransyung! You can PM me anytime dear with anything I can do to help you out. ^^

What a great idea for a thread, with so much negativitiy that gets thrown around/rumored about this community, I have to say as a whole I've thoroughly enjoyed meeting people both online and offline. I really don't know where I should even start because it feels like there are so many people I might forget someone... (even if some will never read it lol)

First, thanks to my first doll group where I've made some of my life long friends! n__n I've been able to be the maid of honor to one of my besties, Kitsuna Ri! I can't express how much our frienship means, thanks for always being there! And also thanks to my besties Talie/Bird of Hermes, and Sam/Zaithat for including me in our small itty bitty College Station doll group. ^^ You girls made me feel welcome and its amazing how long we've been playing dolls together right? Can't imagine life without all three of you now...

Second to my new doll group in SA! Beansproutmomo ... isn't it crazy how we reconnected after years and years apart? Thanks for being such an amazing friend and always lending your skills/knowledge to me. ^^ You rock, and I hope we stay friends for many many years dear! Hisuiyui and kyouchuu/high school buds from the past XD, thanks for more years of friendship and being my meetup pals. ^^ Heheh I always love to reminisce with you. +everyone else in SA that I dont' know if I have the brain to name them all but I have to say we're a great group. All smiles, lots of dolls, no drama woot woot! :D

Thanks to online buddies who I wish I could hug and hangout with in person. ;__; If I ever strike it rich, I'm paying debt and then traveling to see everone!
-Aquaspiral/Nicolina/Loppy's slaves/The best people ever: Do I need to even write out why I'm thankful to you two? ;_; If I don't tell you enough, your some of the best friends I've made online. One day, lotto or not I will get to squee and hug you both in person!
-Houstoner Group: Y'all know who you are! ;) We only get to hang out from time to time, but ya'll are a great bunch of gals and I hope to hang out some more.
-Yiesha, thanks for your frienship! It started with an admiration of Natsu, but then when I got to know you you're so sweet and kind! I wish I could hang out with your beautiful family. :D
-Bee/chubi and Mari/Yunachan: You two are such sweethearts! Thanks for the fun conversations we share about life. One day I will travel to Brazil to collect buggies and hangout.
-oddisho/messymessness: I know we haven't been friends for a super long time, but I adore you and your family all the same. Thanks for all the conversations on flickr, and just the love you give out. You're such a sweetheart!
-My friend Ame/SugarCoatedStars, thank you for introducing me to this hobby and walking me through it step by step with all my dumb questions. Your patience/understanding during that time was amazing. We've had a long friendship, and I'm happy we still are going love! :)
-elisa_maza: Thanks for all the inspiration, and your encouraging words as a fellow artist. You rock dear, and we are definitely gonna need to have a insect chat one of these days in person. ;)
-Umi-chan: One of my first friends I met on DoA! ;__; You've always been so kind to me, and I'll never forget that picture you surprised me with of Donny <3 One day I will repay you <3
-Vega: You've always been so incredibly supportive of my work, and I've just enjoyed watching you and your doll for so many years now. Thanks for your kindness and love! <3
-There are so many people who I've come across that have been incredibly supportive and friendly, I think this post is already massively long so I can't list everyone out, but everyone who's commissioned me, left me comments on any of my social media accounts, even just said hello...thank you! Your positive attitude makes this hobby worth participating in. :)

46. Roterwolkenvogel; for always being so kind and having crazy beautiful dolls. As a member I looked up to long before I dared post any photos of my dolls, it has always been an honour to be acknowledged by someone as nice and talented as you ♥

Shlynn; I don't really know you but recently you praised my Carter and were extraordinarily kind to me and even took the time to ask me about his character. It made me feel wonderful after such a long hiatus from the community. Thank you! ♥

Likewise, everyone who chats regularly in the DZ mini discussion thread, you guys are awesome and I love our conversations. I wish I knew all of you in real life! VampireAngel13, jemlovecraft, CuriousRaven, ForeverVirginia, Sigune, quidam, elve, fush, and many many more! Please don't think I don't like/thank you if you're not listed, I just put down some of the regulars who have personally spoken to me and been kind to everyone. Thank you guys, all of you! You inspire me to keep going ♥

47. I'd also like to say thank you to Dybbuk! It really was crazy serendipitous to have meet again after so many years.

Also, thank you to everyone here in San Antonio. You all welcomed me into your group with open arms, and I couldn't be happier to know such lovely people. ♥

Lastly, I'd like to thank Feralworks for getting into this hobby with me. We are both learning and experimenting, but I really appreciate everything she has done for me, and the guidance she gives. ♥

51. I would like to thank my best and first doll fried in this hobby beansproutmomo she really made me feel welcomed just starting the hobby like she was. She also helped me be welcomed into my first bjd meet here in our home town of San Antonio. I would also love to thank all the memebers of our meet up group. <3

52. Thank you bearpicnic for inviting me to DOA and answering all my dumb questions! :D

53. Wow - I just found this thread. What a nice idea!

I'd like to send a huge shout out to all of the artists and craftspeople who put their work on display and offer their services in the marketplace. There is so much talent on this board.

Dybbuk: Aw!! Thank you so much - that comment officially made my night. :aheartbea The feeling is very much mutual - I'm always so inspired by your work and I appreciate the interest and encouragement I've always received from you. It's been a joy to watch your beautiful herd of resin grow over the years.

I'd also like to thank elisa_maza for making so many of my dolls resemble the characters they are meant to be and JennyNemesis for being a constant source of hilarious wit and iplehouse eye-candy. You guys both rock. :whee:

54. Thank you to all mods and admin who worked to put on the 9th anniversary competitions! With Dollism next year, may you get an EARLY start and hold them either way before or quite a bit after, haha!
This is the first year I've competed and it makes me wish I'd taken advantage of the opportunity many more times.
You can bet I'll be back in the thick of it next year and encourage others to compete too. :sumomo:

Thank you :chocoheart

55. I would like to thank my partner, Rikka, for getting me into this soul-consuming, wonderful hobby! It was her lovely Soony, Kalista, that first pulled me in and made me look at Luts as my first company. She has supported my habit/addiction over the years, and we have had so much fun constructing families and fandom dolls together.
I also want to thank all of the previous owners of pre-loved resin-kids for allowing us to adopt them and all the wonderful sellers we've run into in the marketplace.
All of the people in the various customising threads and photo reference forum who answer questions and put together beautiful amounts of reference for the rest of us are absolutely awesome.
And of course, all of our IRL dolly friends who let me play with their resin either with paint or sandpaper, you are awesome.
And a special note out to my little sister, Shi-chan, who always gives me the best challenges; yes, sometimes you are right and I just need to buckle down and try it.

56. :aheartbeaSo many wonderful people in this hobby. My first thank-you goes to Jay who was my first dolly friend who introduced me to bjds. I'm convinced she has dolly super-powers, there is no end to her talent and kindness. Many others have inspired me along the way: MysticalDollDreams, Beamlette, Galatia9 have helped me from the beginning and continue to inspire anyone who comes in contact with their art and themselves. Momo, leopardessmoon and other newer friends keep this hobby fresh and me laughing almost daily. I love dolly people!:aheartbea

57. Wow...just now checking out all the anniversary threads. I knew I didn't have time to compete and didn't want to tempt myself, but this thread. Oh, yes. But I'm going to have to leave my post "open" theoretically, but I know I'm only touching the surface:

First and foremost must be Bakayarro Onna not only for introducing me to resin kids, but for giving me the cutestest house elf ever. Some things can't be repaid.
Secondly: dhawktx for all her invaluable help.
Third: darkwind's Alex/Alexi story has captivated me from my first few days here and her friendly response to my PMs encouraged me to reach out privately to others here.
Fourth: the amazingly talented folks who share knowledge and beauty and joy all over the site. All the standout photographers above mentioned, yes, but some who have not been mention yet and that can be counted on for a special moment alicethorn's sweet little Alegro moves quietly and gently through the site as he does through his big world. cthulu, whose beautiful historical costumes give me chills
Fifth: the wonderful folk on the LTF and PukPuki threads for making every day start with friendship and giggles.
Finally: All the mods for their hard work and kind help. You guys rock!

OK...no time to finish. Fortunately, we can edit! I'll fill in some more specifics later. Mostly just a huge thank you to everyone for making me and my little guys feel welcome.

shrinkomatic: Right back atcha!

58. I love this thread!

I'd like to thank:
earth.spirits and Dezarii for being so nice to me when I was a newbie!
Timebeforedawn and shirahime for always being so generous, sweet, and encouraging.
Allison Wonder, FunnyLori, beachgirl and all the other Portland peeps for making the local meets awesome and fun, and also for putting up with me and my whining, even though I don't deserve it!
eliza_maza and maiya for making my dolls so pretty!
there are many more people who have been kind to me since I got into this hobby, and I'm very thankful for all of them. :fangirl:
