Telesthesia and Dragon Doll waiting room

Oh you ordered your boy in Oct too? I ordered Wei at the start of Oct as well so i'll be wait 7 months here in a few days x.x but just have to wait 1 more month is worth knowing I would ask AC actually. they can get the answer pretty quick

Yay rediscovering dolls! Yeah I been doing that with a couple dolls and realizing they need a make over XD

 

Pooki, actually, I ordered my boy on 01 Sep 2019. Originally, I was told it would be a three month wait, then it became six months, and now this. So, I guess that actually makes it 8 months that I've been waiting.

I'm trying to be patient, because I knew the coronavirus was going to put delays on everything. Anyway, I finally decided to ask Alice's Collection for an update on my Caesar. They told me Dragondoll/Telesthesia's response was that it would be 2 more months. So, maybe my boy will arrive in June. I sure hope so, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. For the time being, I think it's just best to keep rediscovering my older dolls. (I'd forgotten how cute my old CP/Luts Chiwoo is! )

 

Oh thats rather odd since you didn't order tan right? I know others gotten theirs much sooner if it was like normal or white. I'm so sorry your wait has been even longer then me But I'm glad im getting experience with this company and its wait times lol Once i get my boy in I'll decide how i like the body since I do love a couple of the sculpts x.x

 

I'm still waiting on the replacement hand and the correct bust myself. And I received my girl in October 2019 (ordered her April 2nd, 2020). At this point I'm just resigned to the fact that there's no point in pestering them and that the parts will ship when they ship...

I'm still waiting for the Telesthesia 68cm body that I ordered back in August 2019. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

Wow! You've been waiting since August! (I feel your pain! T_T ) Gosh! You only ordered a body? I bet your body will be arriving soon. I ordered a whole doll with face-up, and face-ups always add weeks to a delivery date.

Have you asked the company for an update on your order's status?

 

@mekirin I'm so sorry to hear you've been waiting so long! You should definitely check with either the company or your dealer and just kindly ask for an update, nothing wrong about that ^__^

 

I just put an order on layaway with AC, I got Xunyichao, 65cm Telesthesia Girl in tan skin, face-up with high heel feet. I have her on a six month layaway but I will try to pay it off soon. Looking at the waiting room I will probably see next year.

 

@sunnysailor Congrats on the order! Be prepared for a long wait since you ordered in tan skin. I'm about to hit my 8th month waiting for my tan wei yue jin Sp i ordered back at the start of Oct. The tan is going to well worth the wait though. Its so pretty!

 

Lol I’m ok with long wait (maybe) all I want is for my doll to arrive with no issues whatsoever. I’ve seen pictures of the tan skin, it looks lovely! I can’t wait!

My Wei Yue Jin SP arrived!! I can't really grasp that he's finally here ^w^ I've ordered him mid-November for anybody wondering and trying to estimate their wait time ^^

I honestly didn't expect him yet considering the Corona delays in China ealier this year - I'm really impressed with TD ♡ I hope everybody who's still waiting get their own personal good news soon!!

So I felt like popping in here to say a couple days ago I got word that my Wei will be shipping soon and look for a tracking number! So I been waiting and watching like a hawk for the tracking number lol. Soon very soon I'll be able to see him and everyone will be able to see my boy finally.

Okay, my time in this waiting room is almost over. I've been waiting since October on replacement parts for my FeiHuaDeng as she arrived with the wrong bust and a broken finger. TD finally got them cast and sent to AC, but due to being concerned about color matching, they sent a whole new doll. So I'm pretty much getting an additional doll for the price of shipping. Now I'm trying to figure out how to fit her into my worlds. Currently I'm thinking of naming her Helsa, and being the twin to Elyra. Elyra is the high priestess of the temple devout to the goddess of Dark, and Helsa is the high priestess of the temple devout to the goddess of light. That works for me so far!

 

What is the deal? I'm not getting alerts for this thread! (Something really buggy is going on with this forum! )

Yeah, I’m honestly stunned by this development!
Elyra had her hand repaired by me the day after she arrived. Guess I should smooth out the fix so it’s a little less noticeable. At least it is still holding up!

Just received a mail that my Wei Yue Jin SP has already arrived in my home country
I was really surprised since ACBJD forgot to send me the tracking number.
I never expected him to be here so soon. I ordered him in mid February in the middle of corona. I thought Telesthesia would be affected by the virus pause but no - they were even faster than Granado, who is working on my bodies since January.
I can only explain it this way: I ordered Wei Yue Jin when ACBJD already removed his Advertisement from their site. I tried my luck lo write them. I guess someone else went back from layaway and that was my chance to get a doll. I believe they had been working on him already
Anyways, I am so happy. From all open orders I have atm this is my most anticipated doll. He's so special I already love him so much! Hope he won't take too long in the custom office so I can get him next week

My replacement FeiHuaDeng got returned to AC by Chinese customs and is trying her luck again to come to me. I really hope I won’t get custom fees as I already paid them for the initial doll I received, and all I paid for this one is shipping...

 

I got some good news from BJDivas - my FeiHuaDeng (ordered June 15th of 2019) is progressing along (having been delayed by .. various and sundry, I'm not sure, and then the pandemic). Telesthesia sent along a picture of her face-up to BJDivas and it's lovely!



BJDivas has also passed along my inquiry about high heel legs, to see if Telesthesia is willing to cast them and send them along with her to me. There was something about the possibility of her shipping by the end of June, but the high heel legs might delay that. Either way though, this lovely lady might just come home by late summer, so I'm working on a commissioned hanfu for her with Stacy's Pink Ocean. I can't wait to meet her!

I was wondering if you might be willing to get some measurements from your girl, as I imagine everything will be the same, and I can substitute the listed bust measurement. I understand how you feel! I ordered T&D Zhe Bie on the 13th and I've definitely been steering clear of AC so I don't check my order. I'm just so excited for him to come home.

 

Now that I have unboxed him I really have to get used to the body. I find it quite bulky. He has a super muscular body, very manly and a hard contrast to the androgynous delicate face.
I'm trying to ignore the fact that I don't like it that much...
I think about buying a thinner body... but that means waiting again... not sure...

Maybe once he's in clothes, and covered up, his muscles won't be an issue. (Though I understand wanting a more slender body to match his delicate face.)

 

Sasha of the Crows, I was wondering how the 70cm clothing you bought at Alice's Collection fit your Wei Yue Jin SP?

Also, has he arrived back from the face-up artist? Still would love to see pixs of him.

I would recommend 70 cm clothing for him (since he has a 72cm body), he's definitely too tall to wear 65 cm clothing. 68cm (when oversize) works out, as you can see here (the outfit is from Loongsoul for 68 cm dolls):


He's really bulky (as I mentioned before) - let me show you an interesting comparison of my Dollshe Saint (the tall one, 70cm) next to him.
You can see that the shoulders are pretty equally broad and that Saint even has slimmer arms and wrists:

Before I bought Wei Yue Jin I was desperately searching for pictures and only found some on weibo (where I didn't understand anything) so I'm glad I could help. I also posted his unboxing on DOA if you're interested.

I fell in love with Granado Zen body. I love how thin and delicate he is, especially the hands... He also has quite a sixpack, but it's acceptible.
He color matches with Wei Yue Jin and the neck size is the same.
I can post pictures soon.There's a possibilty that it looks totally weird but I hope it's going to work out

He's not classically handsome like most of the delicate boys on this forum, but his cro-magnum-ness is what was called for in the character, which has a sort of caveman charm. I wanted him to be overtly seme (aka OMG! So butch!) to be partnered to a very delicate uke.

Edit: And, I'm happy to report that all the clothes I got from Alice's Collection for a size 70cm boy fit him pretty well. Granted, the shirts are a little tight across the chest, but I can still button them. And, all the pants fit since the material in the jeans is stretchy, And, since he is 73cm tall, the pant legs are just a teeny-bit short. But with boots you can't really tell.

To answer your questions: Yes and yes xD As other have mentioned before, 70cm clothing fits WYJSP perfectly so far! I personally think, he has quite long legs, so the right length of pants is something to consider ^^ And he has giant feet xD Not neccessarily excessively long but pretty broad. Just got SSDF shoes for him from Luts and they're a nice fit finally ^__^

And yes, he's also back from the faceup artist! I'm madly in love with him ♡♡ I hope I'll get to post some pictures soon!!

Although I'm still waiting for the FeiHuaDeng I ordered over a year ago now, I saw Clover Singing's having a summer sale and Telesthesia is part of the event. I'm really tempted because I planned to order the remaining dolls I'd like from them completely blank, which might hasten their arrival to me. In theory. I just didn't expect Dollshe wait-times when I originally ordered Fei, as her wait was advised to be about six months.

To take the plunge or nah...

I'll definitely make a decision by August 15th.

 

Soo I took part in Clover Singing's Summer Sale and started up a layaway for WeiYueJin and XunYiCao (Jin with sleeping head and eyes open head, as well as magnetic ears and fox mask). I noticed Telesthesia has heel feet for 70cm boys now, so I ordered these (they weren't available last year)! I also ordered XunYiCao with heel feet and heel legs, won't be making the same mistake I made with Fei in that regard.

Now I await FeiHuaDeng, WeiYueJin, and XunYiCao. If the latter two arrive within six months, I'll probably order Upsilon in dark tan.
