Seolrok is 8.5inch head, 9-10inch wig of Crobi will be too large for him. I'm not sure if 8inch wigs are elastic or not. Little bit tight considering only on the figure.

I tried a friend's 9-10in and with a wig cap and a bit of styling, it could work but it might look weird at some angles.
I am hoping 8in could somehow fit cause it will probably look better :P

 

Anyone going for Huisa or Yido’s release this month? I’ve been waiting for the updated photos of Ajeong’s makeup on Faithz but I’m not sure it’s coming. It was supposed to be updated in February and the orders close this month Guess I’ll be passing lol

 

Ajeong shall be a exclusive release for Faithz only and no special Switch Artist makeup can be ordered.
RW Huisa & Yido get a very gorgeous makeup but only can order through Switch Website directly.

I wonder if Faithz posted incorrectly. On their announcement for the rerelease of Ajeong Closer and Seolrok they said they would be offering new official makeup. I asked about it and they said it would be available in February. Maybe I should email again.

 

I have heard from other official dealers, Switch do offer some collaboration makeup for dealers. Not sure if Faithz make the deal. I just check Seolrok & Ajeong will be closed this month. Little bit late if the makeup is still not ready.

I emailed Faithz and they said they are still waiting for photos. I think Switch must be behind... I will have to decide if I want to buy him and add the makeup later once they get it because yes it is quite late!

 

i thought faithz also do monthly releases of head. "shiho and pavian" has been on the site since january.

Same here! ^^ That's why I ordered him blank. The company faceup isn't bad by any means, just a little lacking imo.

I did love the faceup in early company pictures though (the more dramatic looking one with black and red around the eye, golden highlights and statement lashes ♡). And his overall sculpt is just really unique and beautiful. I'm really excited to see what folks are going to do with him ^-^

 

Just found an update of Faithz website, there are three official makeup now. The new artist seems to be a pink tone style.

 

Yes, I saw it on Instragram this morning and was worried I was too late! I did order Ajeong with the faceup. At least I hope I did... The button says No Makeup but it adds the 848 HKD charge so I paid for the head with makeup. I emailed them just in case.

 

i wonder why faithz still has damhyeon listed when it's already sold out for weeks already.

 

They're taking pre-orders for the one that's going to be at Dollvie 2020 in July of this year.

 

but it says "sold out" i want to preorder also.

I would email them to check if he’s still available. It’s possible his page needs to be updated because I ordered Ajeong and his page options were a bit messed up.

 

Hello, just wondering if there are any switch heads on a dollshe body? I'm looking to get a oriental skin mystic body for my ryuzoin milk tea rose (does it seem like a good match??), but there's around 2cm difference on the neck girth...

Has anyone here ordered a Platina showroom head before? I believe it’s a lottery. So if they did it for international customers we could enter and see if we win?

Dear experienced Switch owners ^^; I'm still a little unsure how ordering a specific body from Switch properly works, please forgive >.<

I understand there are the monthly orders for both the Attractive body as well as the 60/65boy bodies. The body I'm specifically looking for though is the 65boy poika body in normal skin. Is there a chance that this one will be available again? Thank you for your help ♡

 

I don’t think Switch has announced anything about whether or not the Poika body will be available monthly, but FaithZ (one of Switch’s official dealers) has the Poika body up for preorder right now. The preorder ends on 8 April 2020.

I did see before that Faithz has the body for preorder at the moment and got super excited xD But when you scroll down to the buttom of the order page, the only skin color available is rosy white sadly ;__;

 

Hmm... the description does say it’s available in normal skin too. Maybe they forgot to add that option? They did make a mistake with the make up option for the preorder of the Ajeong head earlier. (It’s fixed now.) You could email them to ask.

 

Switch only release poika body with particular head part are on sale.
Last year it release with Rusi, now with Huisa Direction & Yido.
Maybe Switch takes it as default body for teenager sculpts.
Hope that Switch will place it in monthly system in future

I was surprised to find that the Senior Delf 65 clothes I ordered from Luts are REAAALLY large on my Humming Dolly Attractive body -- I can make them work but they're definitely super, super baggy.

Does anyone know if TTYA SD17 jeans fit attractive bodies? Or which non-Switch clothes work best?

 

Volks SD17, Luts Senior Delf 65 & Switch Humming 65(basic & attractive) are very similar size. They can be a hybrid choice for normal skin type. Some bodies around 66-68cm height are also similar and their clothes can share.

Part of Luts outfits are provided from other manufacturers. Those clothes are oversize style and i can put them on my 70cm bodies (listed as an 65cm outfit). It is worth to research on those suppliers to prevent such a uncertain of size. Luts has listed information on the sale page and u can c their origins

If u want a just fit style, Korean brand like nine9, ttya, sadol and freedom teller are some of my suggestions.

 

I have a Waseon on the attractive Switch body and TTYA jeans fit perfectly! I also have Nine9style jeans and they are a bit loose on the hips in my opinion.

 

In other news, Switch continues their assault on my bank account with new wigs and clothing. The pink sweater is really cute! I also like the Irish Cut wig. Probably will grab the Honey Muffin Cut as well. Collecting wigs is my thing lol.

I got a notice that my Dojin and a bunch of Panthera hands shipped out! I thought they wouldn't be ready for another month, or i would have asked them to hold it for a bit to make sure the shipping was smooth. total nail biter now...

 

If it makes you feel any better shipping from South Korea has been like normal for me! I have an order from LUTs and For My Doll arriving on time.

And yes! Thank the heavens! Hahwa did arrive safely. After being scanned and routed back to California for the umpteenth time someone caught it. I don’t know why it got all messed up as the address and customs form were both correct... Hoping to take some nice photos of him this weekend

i've got my fingers crossed, mine is coming in from HK. The other ones got here fine, just there was something going on last week where a few people had their stuff returned out of country, and then your situation... yipes!

mine hasn't shown any movement yet, but that's typical, just all of a sudden usps texts me with "hey your thing is going to be there in a day (or two)" since i put in the tracking# and ask it to send notices... here's hoping.

i saw the pre-order for that "Noel" wig a little too late, so bummed, i really like that Blackberry colour. maybe Faithz will get some stock. Still trying to not buy Rion we will see how successful i am was gonna hold out for the next round of Waseon...

 

Switch boys and their tiny heads!! Anyone know what wig brands (besides Switch) that fit well? Hahwa’s supposedly a 9” head but a lot of my stuff is large on him.

 

i have a lot of smaller 1/3 sized like DC, DV, DZ so the Switch boys seem huge to me The one i have on Soseo (9" dia?) right now was advertised as "1/3 70cm" and was 22-24cm head diameter, which was bigger than anything else i had on hand. it's pink, which washes out his face up, so i might be making something for him soon... i haven't tried Gyoha with anything yet, still working out his eyes... but supposedly he is a tad smaller diameter at 8.5", was thinking maybe Crobi might fit pretty well too.

 

I’ve tried a few so far... Leekeworld 9” was massive but I haven’t tried their smaller sizes. Crobi 9” actually fit perfectly but they have such limited stock most of the time For My Doll is a bit too big and Luts 9” has fit but I think they carry a lot of different brands so it varies... he will have to be a work in progress for a while unless I do custom!

 

i think the punkmomo 8-9's work, and i'm pretty sure the pink one i have is from M7 (has the circle of cats logo), i'll have to go back and look at my receipts
Unfortunately, I've not bought any Leekeworld ones yet to know how they compare to what i've got.

 

Hm, time for body decisions! I have an Ajeong Closer and Waseon head coming to me this summer. What is the difference between the attractive and normal boy body because I can’t tell the poika body is tempting for at least one. It’s so slim!

 

I got my Gyoha together for some pictures. Received him and Soseo in early March.
Need to try some other colour resins for his body, see if i can find a better match.
He has a Faithz face up. He's not whispered his name yet... I love those little teeth.

I’ve seen many photos of people putting Switch heads on the Doll Family H 65cm body, but has anyone tried one on the Doll Family H 68cm body? I’m thinking about ordering the Rion head from Faithz, and I need a body for him that is just under 70cm, but not quite 70cm (he needs to be slightly shorter than his sister who is on a 70cm body). I just wanted to know if proportion-wise it would work as I really like the aesthetics of it. Another one I was considering was the Dollzone 68cm body, so if anyone has that one and a Switch head, pictures of that would also be much appreciated. Thanks!

i don't have a DFH-68 to share. but if it helps, the body Gyoha is on is close to 71cm and has a very narrow shoulder (11.5cm)

i am having a hard time staying away from Rion myself...

 

Just ordered the Rion head as planned! I've done some looking around and I think I'll actually be going with the 2D doll 68cm body instead of the Df-H one. They both look really nice and their measurements seem to work with the head (on paper at least), but the 2D doll body is currently 40% off at Clover Singing and that's a deal I just can't pass up

 

that's also my question. will switch heads fit perfectly on a 68cm DFH body?

 

For those asking about switch heads on DF-H 68cm body, indollerable has a Switch Sohwa on a color-matched one here: dawn on Instagram: “Switch Sohwa on the Doll Family H 68cm body (resin matched to switch normal skin). I hadn't seen anyone try this yet so I was nervous about…”

For the question on what's the difference between the old switch 65 body and the attractive body, soulless-nayu made a comparison:

The polka body is the same as the attractive body except for the torso piece (smoother, no abs).

 

Hi guys, I have a question about Hwayeon. I found on switch's website it said sold-out, but I still can find it on Taobao, so can I still buy Hwayeon? Is it already sold-out? Btw, is milktea looks like tan?

Yes, Hwayeon is sold out. He comes up once in a while on the doa marketplace though. There is a Milktea Rose one on the marketplace at the moment, if you're looking.

Anyway, Switch doesn't have an official taobao page or dealer (to my knowledge), so I'll be careful when trying to buy off taobao. I don't know if hwayeon has been recasted yet but you may want to check before deciding to buy him there ^^

As for the colour... Milktea rose is sort of like a very pale tan. Like its name, it is pretty close to the colour of milktea, with a pink undertone.
