Just wondering has anyone ever hybrid any rosy white switch heads to a white loongsoul 62 boy body?
Curious as to how well the white resin matches to rosy white
along with the general proportions (to something such as Taerin B)

 

I've seen a Rosy White/LS white hybrid on ig (@steppencat_sharonion). The owner mentioned that LS body was too bright and that the colour didn't match at all. Proportion-wise, I think Seolrok on their photos looked pretty good on a LS 73 body! Not sure about other sizes though.

Ah, I'm not sure if their existing colours match any of the Switch's resin but I do know that this company does resin matching and they can match Switch colours pretty well! I've seen some photos on Twitter, such as this Rosy White Choyo on a DFH-63 resin-matched body.

 

if it's any help, the only close matches without resin matching I've found so far for rosy white are:
1. IOS new white matches Switch RW so closely i can't tell the difference and both are slightly pearlescent. neck fits well on 70 class (i mean v2.0, I don't have the brand new body or the very first oldest body of that size)
2. DollZone/Doll Chateau peach is only slightly lighter and is not pearlescent.

i did get a resin match from DF-H for Switch's "powder beige" and it's really well done.

 

Dfh pink for sure doesn't match Rosy white. I guess you can make it work if you blush the head/color match it. If you can wait, I can take a picture this weekend, when I can take out the dolls during the day

 

@OneiricBlue I have a color matched rosy white body from DF-H and it is spot on. I'm waiting on a 1/3rd male body in rosy white for another Switch head as well.

 

I'm still waiting for my dfh body matched to mocha brown. Hope it ships soon. And that the match is really good.

 

@Cloudedmind - thank you so much for the confirm on the DFH RW matching being good - i hadn't seen anyone mention having one in RW yet

i like a couple of their bodies, and the price can be super during an event -woot- (plus their unmentionables options are hilarious usually) i do need to eventually get a switch65 attractive to use the fancy high heel legs though, but i might wait for more favourable shipping....

 

@Grimalkin Here's a link to an album I did with my Switch heads in RW on the DF-H 65cm body, Switch Heads & DFH Body in Rosy White. The purpose for the pictures was more about head fit then resin match so I didn't get any natural light pictures, but the color difference between head and body is minimal.

How does resin matches normally work btw? Never had much experience with it

 

I did tell my broker what year i bought my Switch head, but DF-H did not need any resin (usually a head cap or similar) sent, they just have the formula already on hand for Switch. I guess if you had an older doll that was yellowed that type of match might not work.

some other casters might require a piece of your specific doll sent to them to match. maybe some other folks have some tips to share about that process, i've not done it

 

Hello everyone! This is my first post on this discussion, though I've been a lurker ever since I found out about Switch last year. I'm excited to say I was finally able to purchase my first head, damhyeon c in milk tea rose, this week!!

Besides a much needed body, I wanted to find jointed hands for him.

Does anyone know which companies make nice jointed hands that can match milk tea resin? ^__^

 

@Kammi I’d suggest DFH. They have joint hands and can do resin match for you.

I ordered Taerin Eclipse and now have to think if I should order Shanhong in milk tea rose next month. Would love to see more photo of this skin tone to see if I can just have 1 body for 2 heads. I don’t like yellow tone resin colour and mocha skin is special release so only 2 options left.

 

I need some helps !!! I ordered DAMHYEON Crescent recently but I feel like SD body is a bit too big for me. Still, I can't resist his beautiful sculpt. Is there any company that sell those exhibition torsos that I could try?
On a side note, which doll body matches SWITCH powder beige colour most?

 

i got a doll stand from dolly planet, they have a few models can fit Switch heads.
the color is quite similar, my torso is a normal skin one.
most of the normal skin of korean doll companies can match Switch resin, Luts & soom, etc
and DFH, DFA is quite usual for hybrid in the forum

 

Hello! So I bought a head (Ajeong closer ver.) and was wondering if he looks good on a 60cm body? I always see the switch heads paired with 65+ bodies, will his head be too big for the body?

 

A heads-up for anyone who has the Breathless hand parts. Looks like there was a manufacturing flaw and Switch will be remaking and resending them to anyone who ordered them. Here's the notice.

Breathless changed the design of the joint ball to be compatible with the 70 body and re-issued it,
but it was confirmed that the groove made to have an S-shaped inside the joint ball was opened during the replication process and did not get a hook.
Therefore, we would like to reinforce the inside of the joint balll and re-manufacture it all and send it to you.
Please note that reinforced joint ball will be sent for all orders of painting/unpainted.

The production period is expected to be about 4 weeks, and it will be sent sequentially to the basic address of My Page from December 1st, so if you need to change your address, please contact My Page's address change or 1:1 customer board by November 20th.

Thank you for your help! I wrote to Switch and I got a quick answer. I will write it down here in case it helps someone who bought the hands from a dealer and wondering what to do.

So Switch will remake the hands and send it to the dealers. Then those dealers will send it to you.

If I know more, I will write it here. I hope it can help.

 

Hello! I would like to ask if anyone had tried to hybrid an SD switch head to DF-H 56cm body. As I am looking for a slender body for my Shiho RW, but I'm afraid that the head would look too big on the body. And as I'm planning to pair him with a 68cm doll so any suggestions would be helpful.

 

Is it male or female body? How about 60cm body? What I do is comparing the measurements of body suggestions on Switch website and DF-H body to see if there aren’t big differences.

 

It's a male body, I'm fine with a 60cm body but most bodies I've searched on are mostly too "muscular build" for my liking. As far as I know, the compatible body type was suggested on an HD 57girl body too. I'm planning to get a boy body that is also able to dress up as a female (not sure if it makes any sense ><)

Edit: So far, Some of the other bodies I would like to visual my doll to be on will be:
2nd choice: Luts Delf Body Boy Type 4
3rd choice: Miracle 60cm Boy Body Ver.I or Switch HD60
Of course, there are some worries about resin matching as well since I had ordered RW head :'D

 

According to Switch, Shiho is compatible with "HD 60boy body / HD 57girl body / HD 65boy body / HD 65boy Attractive body / HD 65boy Poika body" so anything in that range should be ok? And isn't it Shiho on Switch's HDA 60boy body promo photos? Looking at those promos again is making me want a 60cm doll from Switch too, haha.

 

@Laylyn DF-H also makes a 62cm non-muscular body which might be a better size fit for Shiho's head. DF-H also does resin matching. I ordered this same body for a Huisa head. I haven't received the body yet though.

Hello, I am going to own my first Switch's head. I bought Damhyeon Crescent and I plan to give him HD65 body. I want to know, what is the difference between HD65 and HD65 attractive? Is the difference only in the size of feet and hands? Or is there another difference?

 

I heard HD65 has a similar outlooking with Volks SD17. Some people may think there is an intellectual property issue.
After a few years, Switch release HD65 attractive and most of the promotion photos are using this body.
Physically, the difference is hand & feet and other measurement is quite similar

Switch was posting some new wigs on their Platina twitter and looks like one is being released on 11/25. Definitely picking that up along with the new pink suit. Almost all of my boys are in Switch wigs at this point. The quality beats all other brands I've tried hands down.

After that I'm picking up Ryuzo Persona his body and I am caught up! My army is 6 boys and I hope to finish out the year with a family photo. If I just had more time in the day!!

 

Switch always come up with the best designs, AND their products' quality is always amazing! I plan to buy Clover Cut in 3 colours for my boys.

 

Hello! I placed my first order of Switch head, and I'm thinking of matching it with a Loongsoul girl body, anyone knows how does the resin match for Powder Beige with Loongsoul's resin? Or does Loongsoul provide resin match service?
I've been searching for the right body, and so far Loongsoul's girl body type seems to be the most ideal. Thank you!!

 

Yes, the Clover Cut is really cute! Which colors are you thinking? I'm probably going to get Salty White and Rosso Scarlet. Although I'm tempted to get the gray or black too so that I can buy Sohwa and have his wig already figured out. The Nuit faceup is really nice on him! It has been a while since I've bought a head from them. Finally I can get Ryuzo his body this round though!

I'm going for Balsamic Black, Salmon Beige and Salty White! I'm also debating whether I should get one in Rosso Scarlet since I'm gonna buy quite a lot of clothes and shoes for my boys this time. I already have 3 full Switch dolls, and all of them are naked so I should start splurging on some stuff for them instead of getting new dolls.

He looks great! I really love Sohwa's sculpt but I was hoping to get him in Mocha Brown one day, so my wallet is safe for now. Please do share a pic of your Ryuzo once you receive the body though!

Speaking of bodies, I've fallen in love with the Switch 60 Attractive body looking at all the recent promo photos. I'm really hoping to get someone in this size but none of the current sculpts really fit the style I'm hoping for... I'm gonna wait for Mori and see if he fits the image in my head.

 

Is Mori the next sculpt? It has been a while since I looked at the release plan. I totally understand the clothing issue! I have 6 Switch boys right now and it took a long time to build up a good clothing collection. Nine9Style and Leekeworld are doing Black Friday sales right now so it's a good time time to pick up some clothes. All of my guys are on the 65 Attractive body and Nine9Style fits perfect.

Sohwa is super handsome in the Mocha Brown color though. I think I'll get him in Milktea. I have a Mocha Brown Waseon and I'd love more of that color but they rarely release it. I'm waiting for a Yido release but they keep doing the Inferno version. Fingers crossed we get both of our hopefuls soon!

 

Finally, I can get a Sohwa!

 

Still unclear when he's going to be released. I only know that they'll release Yido in Powder Beige and Milktea Rose in January.

Ah, yes, I was going to order some stuff from Nine9Style but I'm still not sure how ID75 jacket would look on a HD70A body... It's too expensive to just buy on a whim though. The body is perfect but finding clothes is such a pain!

 

Well, shoot. Switch is getting a lot of my cash for Christmas and New Years lol Good thing I got a new job!

The Nine9Style SD17 / 70 cm clothing fit my larger dolls just fine. I don't know the specifics of the Switch 70 cm body but I have other dolls that size and the fit didn't have any problems.

 

does anyone have news on when they are planning to release the HD64 girl body? they released teaser photos awhile back but I haven't been able to find any news since then

 

Sorry, I don't have any news, but I would love to know anything about it too. I was planning to buy one had they sold it this year, but... I guess, next year?
I have a gut feeling they are re-designing it.

I have mine on a Sadol Love63. The pose ability isn't great but it's a lovely body. I can't comment on the match because my girl's head is from 2015.

I realized I never showed a picture of my new girl Canna! I've been holding onto her head since 2015. She is a Shiho.

I waffled back and forth between rosy white and milk tea rose, but I've got four Switch heads in rosy white already so decided on milk tea rose. I haven't even thought about bodies at this point. Hello everyone!

Does anyone have experience with finding clothes for the HD70 Attractive body? Would regular HD70 shirts be too tight a fit? I was comparing measurements, but it's hard to tell without the actual body whether or not something will fit.

 

Anyone getting errors on Switch's website? I tried to order a body but PayPal said their account cannot receive funds anymore.

*Edit* Switch fixed it. They had documents PayPal needed to verify.

 

Hi! HD70A has broader shoulders, bigger upper arm and chest compared to HD70, so HD70 clothes made with non-stretch fabrics most likely won't fit. There may only be a 1,5-2 cm difference in measurements, but it's a lot in doll standards for something like, say, a dress shirt. It also depends on the fit of the item, so 'oversize' items would probably fit both.
That's what I learned while sewing for my HD70A boys, though, so it'll probably be best to wait for a reply from someone who owns both.

 

Hello ! I'm waiting for switch to release a Waseon head (it will be my first doll from them). I love the 70cm body from switch, but it's a little too expensive for me so I'm looking for a slightly cheaper option. I heard that Volks bodies were great but I can't seem to find any (and they seem very expensive too). Do you guys have any recommendations ? The cheapest body I've found is from Resinsoul, but of course the overall look of the body isn't as great as more expensive options.
I also need to find a company that would do color matching, as I plan to buy the head in milktea rose. I'd appreciate the help ;_;

 

Hey, does anyone know when the Hwayeon sculpt was released? It's well past the possibility of being able to order it from somewhere right? I didn't see any in the marketplace here either.

 

As long as I remember, the rosy white version was sold in June, 2020. I'm not sure about the powder beige version, but it was released before the rosy white skin (in 2019, I think). Also, mocha brown skin was sold as raffle sale last December.

You could look at the Doll Family A or H, whichever you find perfect. They also do resin match, you just have to know the release date of the head. Just a few pages before there was a discussion about it, I think you can find some useful tips there.

Btw, I'm waiting for a Waseon head too! I have been voting for it on their survey for years.

 

to those who ordered from the switch website. on the address info, what is the difference of "detail address compared to the street address"?

 

Street address is for the full postal address. Detail is any additional information you could add like "second-floor back apartment". I simply added "home". If you're in a country with a well-regulated postal system I wouldn't worry about it too much.
