Which one are you waiting for?
I'd say, Switch rerelease their heads every... 5(?) years? Sometimes you can catch them on lottery or special sale. I'd been waiting for a resale of Rion since its first release for example... then suddenly Switch put it up for a super limited sale a few years ago... but I haven't seen a "normal" sale of him since.
However, popular ones are sold in different versions quite often, I think.

 

I’m looking for Ajeong Closer ver. I think he was released last in 2021..? I follow them on IG…would they update there if there’s a special sale? Also…sorry what’s a lottery? I only recently got into Switch dolls so I’m not too familiar.

 

I would say switch will re-release some hot models every 2-3years.
In between, you can possibly find them on the official dealers sale.
Official dealers like faithz can re-release some models once a year.
The dealers look for profits which only hot models will be picked.......
If you cannot see any plans from dealers, next possibility is the raffle sale.
Every year (but not this year, Switch is busy with new girl dolls now), potential Switch will organize a raffle sale on their web site.
The doll will come with make-up, sometime rare head will be included in the sale.
and that is the chance you can bring him back.
In fact i cannot see much Ajeong close in the market, last time is released as new skin color special.......

just came here to say that I got the HD64 Labrynth body and really like it! It poses well and is easy to handle, and the neck fits my Switch Dojin head perfectly (I got the 10cm neck).

Has anyone put Taerin bijou specifically on a girl body? I'm debating between the Supia doll 65cm body, the 2d doll 68cm body, and the Telesthesia doll 69cm body personally.

 

Hey hey, slowly getting back into the hobby and was wondering what other body types are compatible with Switch has. I have a Haseo on the 65 humming body but he can't hold a pose to save his life. I'm not looking for crazy articulation just something I can do a little something with for photos. Lol

 

@pokori I have Switch heads on the DF-H 65cm body, the DF-H 62cm body, and DF-A 68cm body. Both companies do resin matching to Switch.

I'm still new to the hobby and I want a Switch 65 Att body horribly badly (it's just…. So pretty) but I’m not sure I understand how often they cast and send them out. Like, is it a body that will take half a year or a month or two? Anyone know?

 

I bought mine like... 4 years ago? So I'm not sure how much time it takes now to get it, however, according to Switch's site, the order is "Shipped within 8 weeks from the date of order" (without faceup). Since Switch does keep such deadlines, I think you can trust that it would take 8 weeks to get the body.

If its helpful, i ordered the male 65 body and the hd64 girl body in the same order on August 1, 2023. Shipping / tracking started October 10 and was really quick to arrive to me in Canada (though things came in two boxes of course since they dont combine full dolls).

As for when they offer bodies, i think at the bottom of the listing it says when its available or when it is available for preorder.

 

Don't worry, now all their bodies are available at any time!

Also I’m totally new to Switch so I’m just curious but are Mocha Brown girls just…… not a thing that exists?

 

@misaxlee Nope, not really. For a long time the only girl body was the HD 57 body and as far as I remember that body was never offered in MB with any of the heads. The HD 64 and Labyrinth bodies are new, but when they were first put up you could buy the bodies in MB, but none of the heads that were on sale at the same time were offered in MB. So, you kind of had to have an MB head already.

 

Hi everyone! Does anyone know what clothing sizes fit best for the HD 65Boy Attractive Body? I’m interested in purchasing this body, but want to make sure there’s a variety of clothing options to purchase before I do. I’d appreciate any and all helpful info when it comes to sizing for different clothing pieces. Thank you.

 

SD17, popo68 and 65 cm sized clothes should fit this body well. ^^

 

I only ever buy these bodies because they fit everything. Standard SD17 and anything close to it. You will have plenty of options, even for shoes. Just about everything fits for that size range.

If it’s a jacket, it’ll probably just look oversized but not gigantic. I think it should be fine if you don’t mind that kind of style. But if you want jeans, shorts etc, those will look too big. I had my 65 cm doll wear 70 cm sized shorts, and they were too big in the waist. I tried to use a belt, but even then it just didn’t look good. The 68 cm jeans fit really well, though, weirdly enough.

I may have missed this somewhere, but does anyone have a Labyrinth body and a 65HD (Attractive or not, doesn't matter) they would be willing to photo together with and without clothes?
I don't see the labyrinth around with clothes on much! (Or maybe I do and I just don't know, even as I stalk the Switch website hehe) and would love to see if that 1cm looks like 1cm or if it looks more! ˙ ᵕ ˙

 

In case anyone else needs this comparison: the Switch 65 and Labyrinth HD64 essentially come to the same height without heads. (Switch 65 in Powder Beige, Labyrinth 64 in Rosy White). The Switch 65 is a *smidge* higher where the shoulder starts and neck ends, but at first glance, I don’t think the 1cm difference is all that noticeable.

This is awesome, thank you for taking a side-by-side! I had been wondering how the Labyrinth body would look alongside the 65cm guys. The two look really complementary next to each other.

 

SD17 Volks clothes fit well on Switch body.

 

Been looking into getting a Muhyul as part of my head collection and do y'all think I should do 14/5 or like 12/6 eyes for him? I prefer my eyes slightly smaller than average, so a 14/6 as opposed to 14/7 for context.

 

I'd say that most switch eyewells fit 14mm, so I'd bet on that. Still haven't gotten my Muhyul though so I can't confirm.

 

I only ask bc my Yozo is more of a 14/5 guy to me

 

Just to add to the discussion, I think Muhyul's eyes in the promo photos are 14/5 or 14/6. 12 mm ones might leave empty space in the corners of his eyes.

 

Does anyone know a good substitute for the 64cm girl body in powder beige? I thought Luts would be a match but the neck circumference is .4 cm smaller, and I don't know if that would be a big difference.

Switch is getting me with Yido and Sohwa. It's nice to see some OG sculpts coming around instead of 70 boys or girls. I've been waiting for them to release the other bodies in the new Mercury gray color, but I didn't expect the Poika! It's my favorite. Does anyone have pictures of the Mercury Gray?

 

I’ve seen someone post a photo of their Taeheo in Mercury Grey! There is also an unedited photo of him somewhere on their Twitter with him next to a doll in white skin. It’s a fascinating colour

 

Wow thank you!! I saw both photos, it's so nice to see him in plain light. I regret not getting Taeheo now haha. But the color is so unique. I might have to go for it. Trying to consider Yido and Sohwa and which one to get in mocha and which to get in mercury.

It looks like they're testing releasing older heads with the gray color. I would give a KIDNEY for a Seolrok Hiver in that gray

 

Does anyone know why we have to pay for a delivery option on the new boys, but then also shipping at the end? I'm so confused.

EDIT: Switch answered me. It's because the additional skin tone amount wasn't listed initially in the first option. I feel so observant

 

Soseo looks insanely good on a DAD70 body

On that note, I tried to put a pair of Switch hands on the DAD70, but the joint looked a bit too big, so I failed... Maybe I'm overthinking this? Has anyone tried to put Switch hands on another body? Did it go well? I usually order MR skin with blushing so I'm afraid of damaging it while trying to manhandle a tightly strung body

Does switch normal resin match with soul doll normal resin? I’m looking into hybrid options for a soul doll head.

Does any one knows what Doha neck circumference is? is it 10.5 like usual SDs

 

Anything from 10.5 (HD65) to 11.2 (HD70) should be fine. Sorry, I’m so bad at measuring I measured his neck at about 10 cm, so anything less won’t fit for sure. Hope this helps!

 

I figured he will be around 10cm but it's interesting that he can be on the on 11cm body with no issue like gaping.

Hello! I need Switch Volks experts here, haha ❤️ Does anyone own tan Switch and Volks doll? Or know how their tans match right now? I would appreciate any answers!!

 

I have MTR (milk tea rose) and Volks sunlight (the lighter tan) and they do not match. The darker tan like mocha brown will 100% not match Amber skin. If you get someone who can color match the Volks head, the MTR could work, but otherwise it's too far off on its own and their undertones are totally different.

Hope this link works. Please ignore how bad the pictures are and how creepy my Switch boy is lol. I wanted to just try different light. Dante and Olivia are both not brand new, but they're kept well and not super old. The resin hasn't changed that much since I got them.

This is probably a long shot, but does anyone have an idea of Pantone numbers that would be close to milk tea rose? I want to order a body from Resinsoul to go with the Muhyul head I have, but I'm having a hard time getting a good enough picture to be able to find the codes for a color that would match.

 

@quilleth do you have a pantone finder? Couldn't you use the color swatch from the Switch website?

 

Is it possible to put 18mm eyes into the Switch heads? I'm thinking about replacing one of my dolls with a Switch Huisa, but it depends on if I can fit 18mm eyes into one. I know the older Huisa head uses 18mm eyes, but the newer Huisa head is slightly smaller and takes 16mm according to their page.

I'm specifically interested in the Huisa head, but will be glad for anyone who can tell me about the other Switch heads possibly fitting 18mm eyes.

 

I think 18mm is not the main stream in switch family. You might be able to fit in some older heads, which usually discontinued, like uhui / javi. New heads you might try the girls model like, yunseol, chacha, sanhong, shiho.

If your 18mm eyes have a small iris (less than 8mm) or it is a soft eyes or low dome eyes, then it still can fit into 16mm doll heads. but i can not tell will it looks good.
I have put a 16/7mm eyes for a 14mm recommended heads and that fits quite well.
