Supia Waiting Room v4!

I ordered Dorothy!! Normal skin, normal faceup. She will be my first BJD after wanting one for almost 20 years! This is also my first post on this forum after much lurking. I'm very excited.
I do have a question though, most of the time when I order things with PayPal, it links and I log into PayPal and press ok. It didn't do that, how do I actually pay?

 

I've not ordered from Supia before but they might be waiting to send you an invoice until after they calculate shipping.

 

First off congrats on your first doll!

I recently ordered and it did redirect me to paypal in that session. However earlier in the thread there was mention of invoices being sent the next day. Sorry if that is not helpful.

I just placed an order for TWO! The sale continued past the end time so I just went for it! Milk Brown Juah on the new ballerina body, and light rose white Minisup Hayul. My last wait was 6 months for 1 blank doll, so I'm hoping this wait is closer to 4 months!

My Supia Rosy changed to "Before Shipping"!! I placed the order for a full blank Rosy on January 4th. I wonder if anyone on my Zoom work call noticed my eyes bug-out when I checked my order status haha.

 

And I just noticed that today my order is now labeled "Before Shipping"! SO EXCITED!!

 

Mine just changed today. Have either of your sweet dolls arrived yet or know what happens next?

 

Yes, mine did! I’m sorry I didn’t make another post in this thread, I did update the thread wiki with the all dates when she arrived. It was crazy, about a week after she was labeled Before Shipping, it changed to Shipped and she arrived all the way to me in the USA that same day. So my takeaway from that is that the status update on my doll was lagging behind what was actually happening at Supia. My Ballerina Rosy is gorgeous and I couldn’t be more pleased. I hope your doll arrives soon!

She's not here yet, but I'm keeping a look out everyday; just in case XD

 

After customs fees my doll should arrive today. Fingers crossed the stars align.

It's almost been a month since my order status changed to "Before Shipping" xc Much sadness
She's still not here, but I have seen people in the USA getting their dolls in. I hope she'll be home soon

 

It took me over a month too, I had to pester Supia twice in the QnA.

I just now placed an order for a Sarah head in milk brown with makeup. Now for a 7 month wait

 

I've gone ahead and asked in the QnA area as well. Here's to hopping I get some news!

I think yes, mine is also "on shipping" and I have a tracking number with the delivery posted in a few days, exciting for us both!

Just a note, I didn't get any notification from Supia the order had shipped, I got a call to pay customs and that's where I got my local tracking number- there is a tracking number on the order summary for the local Korean shipment step only.

 

And she's home!!

Eek my 2 orders placed 3/31 are now 'before shipping' - though I'm a bit nervous since I only 2 days ago added a faceup to a doll hopefully that doesn't get forgotten! The last time I saw before shipping, it took a month and a half to ship out lol. So ya never know I guess.
I'm SUPER excited about this order, it's my first time seeing the Ballerina body in person. If I like it, I'm gonna take the plunge and get 2 more full SD girls and a few heads Seriously have been counting down the days ever since I placed my order!

I found a BJD meet near enough me to go next month, so I contacted Supia to see if my dolly will get here in time and they said yes!!! Will update when I get a shipping notification. So excited!!

Beige is lighter. Both colors are pinker than they look in Supia's pictures.

I ordered a Hael head earlier this month, hopefully she’ll be home around the holidays. It’s kinda funny that I’m getting Hael after all these years when I was super in love with Minisup Hayul years ago (but ended up never getting her for one reason or another). Just interesting how things work out. Anyway, she’s gonna get plopped on my oYID girl body and I’ll have to get her color matched when I eventually go about getting her painted (cuz that body is YELLER).

They confirmed that they send it this Tuesday, August 23. I cant wait

I was surprised but happy that they agreed to my request to ship the doll unstrung in a smaller box. I am agreeing to assume the risk of damage during shipping, however - warning to others thinking of asking for the same.
I also didn't request a shipping discount and therefore didn't receive one.
No shipping notice received.

I,m soo happy. I have a tracking number and my Haru has arraived to my country

 

I love those beautiful boxes the dolls come in - but they take up sooo much space. I finally gritted my teeth and got rid of a few, only to realize that the boxes aren't recyclable because of the color and foiling.
So they had to go into the trash - and therefore, a landfill.
I asked several companies and dealers if I could receive my dolls unstrung in smaller (plain, recyclable) boxes. So far, Supia has agreed. And Dollmore is going to use a doll carrying bag instead of a box.

 

HOLY COW that was fast. My status changed to "On shipping" on 8/26/2022, and today, she's here!

And also, that's a really bright idea about the boxes. I, luckily, don't have many myself, but I've also wondered what to do with my Supia box.

Just saw myorder from June changed to before shipping, so excited

 

I have some heads with faceups from June that are also “before shipping”—it would be so lovely if they got here soonish before I’m back to work!

 

I ordered 4/1 and received my dolls 9/6 - 2 dolls, 1 with makeup. In case anyone is interested in the possible length of time. Dolls were "before shipping" about 40 days before I received them.

This is my beautiful Juah in milk brown. Her face is SO pointy and flat lmao! There are parts that I think Supia sanded because they are pale tan? Namely shoulders and a couple other parts.



She has "old smoky makeup". YES !! Supia will do the old makeup style!! I think it's the best, a beautiful style with the improved painting skill seen in their newer makeup. I bought a lot of heads and asked for old makeup styles. So Supia released a guide on how to order makeup requests on their instagram because of me I think..... Supia Doll on Instagram: "As the number of makeups of SUPIA DOLL increases, we have briefly summarized the characteristics of each makeup type for customers who have difficulty choosing. Even with the same type of makeup, there are slight variations depending on the characteristics of each model. *If there is a specific makeup method you want, please leave a note on the order form, and we will work with you as much as possible. (ex. Diva Red Make-up with one-color full lip without lip detail) Thank you very much."
The makeup is a bit orangey, I will add some pink. I think I want to order a doll in real skin now, it's very beautiful.

Minisup Hayul (light rose white - SUCH a beautiful color) and Supia Lina (peach) will not be staying.

 

Just put in an order for a Giyom head in peach. I have been after him for a while

 

It's wonderful to see everyone's dolls coming in. I just made a purchase of a Supiadoll Naomi in milk chocolate resin because the site just started their sale. I really hope she comes in soon XD

 

My Hael head arrived just yesterday after being in transit for 2 weeks. Supia originally forgot to send me a tracking number too with my shipping notice email too, so I had no idea where she was for a while until I finally posted on their Q&A last week bahaha.

Anyway, here she is on my Iplehouse oYID body!



Doesn’t match at all, but I didn’t expect it to. I’m actually waiting on someone to get back to me about a doll head I’ve been wanting off and on for years, so I’m not sure if Hael will be keeping this body or not. If that sale goes through, I’m thinking of possibly getting her a Ballerina body, so I might be back here in the future.

 

These dolls are still before shipping—I’ve had to email Supia to ask what’s going on, because that’s not normal, is it?
