My Jacob was delivered, which got me out of the waiting room....but then I put myself right back in it.

I ordered my Lina, and her sleeping head, and an extra pair of hands. I hope the ballerina body is as awesome as people say that it is! They offered to throw in the heel and ballerina feet at no cost because my Jacob had a small issue.

 

@yafashelli that's great about you boy being home and the free parts! When did you order your Jacob? I haven't ordered directly from Supia in years so I've no clue how long the waits have been.

 

I ordered Jacob during their summer sale, at the end of July. He came last week.

I'm hoping that I made it into the next batch with Lina and all her stuff. If so, I might have it in about 4ish months?

 

Yay, that’s not a bad wait. I too am hoping the ballet body is as good as claimed. I bought it in hopes that it would match well with my LLT ballerino.

 

Wooo~! I happened to check the junk folder in my email this morning and Supia sent me a shipping notice last night for my Eunice head. 3 months just about on the dot for the head, not too bad!

Supia was my favorite company but the price scared me a bit… more when I saw the extra shipping cost…
But now I’m waiting for a Juah, 61 ballerina body with real skin.

I didn’t receive any confirmation mail (even in junk) is normal from Supia to take much time on the answers?

 

They send a paypal invoice. Sometimes I wouldn't get mine till the next morning. When you wake up, it will probably already be in your inbox!

What skin colour did you choose?

 

I wasn't sure at first because their pictures are hard to tell true skintones. I kind of guessed with Jacob, but am satisfied with how he turned out. I decided to choose the new normal "peach" for Lina, since I was okay with it for my boy. Before I ordered him back in July, I had asked around for owner pics and even asked supia for comparison photos. It was a long process.

 

Nice, well for sure has to be a long process, it isnt a cheap decision to buy one.
It has been like a month for me to decide XD.
I was thinking to choose "peach" too, but all my dolls are that color and I think that they seem very white in the photos I take.
So I want to try with the "Real" tone.
I order she with wig and eyes, I wonder how it will be.

I would like to see pics of your Lina when it comes!

 

Oo. My 65cm girl body is in “before shipping!” I ordered in October. Hope it’s 2 weeks instead of longer like last time.

 

When I placed the order for Lina on November 30th, Supia said that it would probably ship in February. We'll see!

My Jacob was only in preshipping for a day or two. It didn't take long! You'll have your new girl soon.

 

What does “on shipping” mean?

 

Basically, being packed and you should get your tracking anytime now!

Yay! When did you order?

I placed my order at the end of November, and was told that mine should ship last week of January, or the first week in February.

 

I ordered this body on 10/15 so their estimate makes sense. One huge plus is that this was shipped DHL and although it says expected Tuesday, it may come tomorrow which is 4 days after shipping (to Massachusetts, USA).

 

DHL was so quick! I think I also had my Jacob in 3 days. I can't wait for my Lina. Post pics when it comes!

I'm joining you all in the Supia waiting room! I've been coveting the Rosy sculpt through a few bouts of coming in and out of collecting BJDs. Now I am excited to say Rosy will be a part of my collection! I ordered her in Real Skin on the ballerina body.

 

Does someone know how much is the waiting time for Supia atm? For a blank body/doll.

 

I ordered a blank doll at the end of November and they say that it should ship either the end of this month, or the first week of February.

Someone upthread, who ordered in the month prior to me, said that theirs just changed to pre-shipment, so the timing that they told me seems to make sense.

 

Looking at the Supia waitlist wiki (which is sparsely updated though it's meant for this exact purpose), the wait time over the past year seems to average 3-4 months. I love the idea of it being 2-3 months! Fingers crossed for all of us that we get a quick turnaround!

 

Anyone know if Supia is on vacation? I have placed an order early December, but they are not answering on the board, or my emails.

I ordered esther ballerina body in July and yet to receive it. Been on "before shipping" for 3 weeks.

 

I've been waiting since 9/12 for a body and 2 outfits. Still payment confirmed

 

Did you write them and ask, what is the date they will ship?

 

I wrote on their Q&A page and they ended up sending it within a few days. Said they had to re-do some stuff. It arrived safely to me a couple days ago! Hooray!

 

We have hit the last week of January, so I'll be refreshing my order status page like crazy. When I placed the order, Supia said either the last week of January, or the first week of February. I'm so excited!

I also received a notification that my eyes from TheSecretArtStudio are shipping, so she won't be eyeless whenever she gets here. Super excited!

I hope that my Lina will ship this week! I keep refreshing the order status page multiple times per day (minute). I'm trying to find boots for my Jacob, now that he's here and measurable. It makes me nervous to do the same for Lina and her ballerina bod.

 

I just got an email this morning, my (milk brown) Hamin is almost complete. They sent me this photo of her, all they have to do is put gloss on the lips, shipping soon.

 

My order was placed on November 30, and I just saw that they changed my status to "Before Shipping". If you ordered around that time, start checking your status! I've been checking daily, and I was so excited to see it finally changed in the middle of the night.

I hope they send the part for my Jacob. One of his arms had a shadow, which she said was too-thin resin. She was supposed to send that part separately, but it never came. I'm wondering if she's just going to ship it all together.

 

My order has been shipped, checked yesterday and it said before shipping, now I have a tracking number.

Wasn't expecting it until April so this is a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately the head that bought this body for got lost in the mail, so now I have to make other plans. Thinking of getting the Nael head, but I'll waitig until I see the body first since it's in a resin color I haven't seen yet.

I ordered a Lina on a ballerina body, plus the sleeping head. Mine still says before shipping, but I'm hoping it'll switch up soon. WHen I was waiting for Jacob, his wasn't in that stage for very long.

I really love the new Tabitha head, but my husband will let me have it if I bring another giant doll into the house.

 

I was considering a Lina, but I think I like the slight angry look that Nael can have.
Tabitha is beautiful too! Too bad she doesn't come in the mini size.

 

Lina's face is what brought me into the hobby. I saw it in a pinterest post, looking for a doll that would make a good Zelda, and that was it. It was all over for me. lol

Now I have Jacob for Link, Zelda, a pair of Soom Nappy Choos, and Dream Valley Ding on the way. lol I have to be done for a while.

The doll in your profile photo has a gorgeous faceup. I thought it was a real person! When it warms up enough to do them here, I hope mine turn out half that nice!

I can't wait until that Lina gets here. I keep staring at her eyes, hoping that she comes soon.

 

@yafashelli Looking forward to seeing your lina! I've never played the games before but I always love the dolls and fanart that people model after them.

Jacob has been on my list forever, but I always seem to get another doll before I even give him a thought.

This is my 1st Supia doll (I'm an Iplehouse collector)

 

I ordered a body and pair of hands back in September, and it is finally just now "before shipping".. After two posts on the q&A board At least they said they will give me a gift!

 

I think the shoulder pieces are supposed to give a more natural range of motion, rather than just allowing the arm to move in strange ways. I'm not positive on it, but there's a great review of the ballerina body on youtube and that's what the owner had said.

Is it the knees that look awkward when she sits? My Jacob sits well, now that I figured out the knees and how to get the elastic into the hip channels. lol.

Still in "before shipping". I had contacted them a while back to see where they were holding but they're not so great about answering emails. I found that out with my last order. Lol!

They had told me it was confirmed to ship first week of February. I wrote back to ask them if the arm for my Jacob was also going to be in there (the resin was very thin and they were sending a new one). Never heard back after that, but it hasn't shipped either.

I'm guessing something in the order was either missing, or needed to be redone, which is fine. I really don't mind if it takes a bit; I'm just the type that likes to know what's going on, you know?

 

Question: (my first layaway) Will I get a PayPal invoice for all three payments or do I need to stay on top of this?

 

Stay on top of it, imo. I don't know for sure how Supia layaway works, but Souldoll never sent any invoices or anything, just updated the notes on my order when I paid via PayPal each month.

 

My Lina, and all the other bits, arrived today. They didn't even tell me that it shipped. I'm glad my husband was home to sign for it.

She is so beautiful and the sleeping head is amazing.

The ballerina body is really nice but I have to figure out the sitting bit. The elastic has to go a certain way in the channels but the elastic is so deep in there, I can't even see it unless I pull the leg down to expose it.

Out of the box, she stands so much better than my Jacob.

 

It's been two and a half months since I placed an order with Supia and my order status still says "Money Transfer received." Is this typical for Supia? I figure I'll reach out to them at the three month mark to check, but I know the community knows best
