Good news. Supia is letting me switch my Muse to milk brown. No idea how much that will delay her, but tbh I'd rather have what I want than to have it now/soon.

 

My status changed to "before shipping"!

 

I changed my Rosey to Real Skin, hopefully it doesn't add too much waiting time on for us!

Whoo! My Eunice is set to "Before Shipping!"

TBH I really wish these new resin colors were available before I placed the order, but it seems like Eunice isn't available in tan? EDIT: I just checked the website now and Eunice is now available in tan, and especially milk tan. Would have appreciated that option earlier, Supia Guess I gotta order another one...

 

My doll is shipped! I ordered a doll with no faceup on 1/25/21 and she was shipped 4/21/21. I am very surprised! That's just shy of three months.

 

Mine is still stuck on "Before shipping". Any idea how long does it usually take?

 

Mine took nine days.

There was delays with mine @Morri_P. - due to the makeup they said. Its been 23 days for me

 

My Heeji is still before shipping and it's past the time frame that they said she would be shipping. It's barely been a month since I ordered her so I don't mind the delay.

 

Yeah, they emailed me on the 1st of April saying they will start her makeup the following week, so I was hoping she'd get here by the end of the month. Oh well... I ordered on the 28th of December and I'm not complaining about 4 months since I also have a Dollshe on order and Supia wait times seem insignificant in comparison, LOL.

Joining this room! I've ordered a grey skin Eunice on ballerina body and a grey skin Naomi head two weeks ago. I choose layaway, but I am wondering something. Does Supia begin to make the doll when first payment is done or when all payements are paid?

 

Wooohooo! I'm so glad to see another Naomi being made. Such an underrated sculpt. Bet she will look lovely in grey

That's what they have on the website, so it seems they start making the doll only after the layaway is finished.

 

Can't wait to see your girls @Morri_P. and @Follow-the-Wind - Naomi is next on my wishlist..... she is stunning!!

 

My Supia girl came today! It took exactly three months and one day from date of order to arrival, but I also didn't order with a faceup. My thoughts:

- Adore the ballerina body! It's got the right balance between aesthetics and functionality for me.
- Wow her head really is pretty small (even though I expected this, it was still a little surprising).
- I'm really scared I'm going to lose one of her ears! D:
- She's so much taller than I thought too! On a stand, she won't fit in my smaller doll cabinet.
- I love her.

 

I can't wait to see her too!

Have you got any pics of your new arrival @Sandwich ? I am getting so nervous for my Esther; she is in transit and is my first SD... unsure how I will feel about the size!

 

@ajmailey I unfortunately do not! I have a very old phone that no longer takes photos and no separate camera.

If you're going from MSD to SD, the size can be a real shocker at first! Most of my SD-sized girls are older so they're a little below 60cm, and the Supia is definitely above that (I think the website says she's 61cm). She looks pretty big next to my older girls! But she can also do a lot that my older girls can't. I'm so very pleased with the new ballerina body; my Supia is meant to be the teenaged sister to an infant, and she can actually hold him (Dollmore Dear Shabee) on her hips like a real toddler completely unassisted!

I do have a new phone that I haven't set up yet, so I'm hoping to add some photos to the Supia discussion thread soon!

EDIT: The ballerina body says 62cm.

Your Naomi will be here soon! I'm sure it's the faceup that's taking more time. And once she ships, it goes by FAST. My doll made it out of the country and to the US in like five days.

Off-topic, but do you think Supia Naomi and Rainman July could be sisters? I so see it... XD

I hope it goes fast. I'm in the UK and we had all sorts of delays here since the bloody Brexit debacle!

 

I added my name to the wait list a while back, but thought I would officially join the room! I placed my order on the very last day of February because I thought the sale was ending! I'm glad I did since the introduction of the new colors are appealing, but not currently what I'm going for. The Real Skin looks like a lovely shade though, so I may place an order once some owner pictures start to surface in a few months!

I ordered the 60cm Ballerina body in NS, so I'm hoping like @Sandwich that it'll be a 3 month wait. That means at the end of this month she may be home! I have a couple of heads that I'm trying to find final bodies for. One is a Raccoon Doll Gene and the other is a Phoenix Dolls Liu. Both heads are sharing my FL F65 body at the moment, but I'm excited to get another body in the mix that can hopefully share clothes!

 

Fingers crossed for speedy arrivals @Morri_P. and @VeraLyne ... I am stuck at work and my girl is waiting at the post office!!!! In like 3.5 hours I should have her in my hands!!

Faye got here this morning! I'm in love, she is even more stunning in person. And she poses like a champ!





Shipping was insanely speedy and she did sneak past the customs, so no ransom needed! I'm over the moon.

So I want to buy a second double jointed 65cm girl body to hybridize with a Dollshe Diana head I got today. I can swap heads on the first body but I will need to color match the head. I bought the first body in July 2020. Is new normal the same as the first body in normal? Or has the color changed? I hope it hasn’t changed so I can color match today.

 

Oh I saw the old normal on the choices! So I bought it! Answered my own question as usual! Haha.

 

There was a delay in finishing my Heeji's face-up and I was told that she should be shipping within the next week. I'm hoping it's true so that I can finally see her in person soon.

I have been compulsively checking the status of my order every day for the past 2 weeks. My ballerina body ordered at the end of February just changed to before shipping, so progress! I hope to get a shipping notice soon.

 

MY EUNICE ARRIVED She was still listed as "Before Shipping" last week when I checked my order, so it was a pleasant surprise when she arrived today! Will take pictures soon aaa-

Omg, my girl's status changed to before shipping, too! I'm excited. I was trying not to check a lot cause I only ordered last month. But, I did order her without a face-up.

 

I’m joining this thread! I ordered a Dreaming Rosy head in normal in March and then her ballerina body in April. Hoping for a status change, but it still says money transfer received! I tried emailing Supia to see is the can combine her head and body? They never responded though. How have others been able to contact them?

 

Try posting in the Q&A if you haven't already. It may take them a little while to respond but they eventually do. Also check your spam folder-- for some reason Supia emails always land in my spam folder!

My Heeji hasn't shipped yet but I'm barely at the 3 month mark, so I'm not feeling that impatient. The eyes that I want to use for her just shipped though! I'm still really excited to complete her once she arrives.

 

I ordered her head on the 12th, and her body the month later on the 2nd. Waiting to find out if I can combine the orders into one shipment. Which'll prolly delay things, I'm sure, but I think it would be worth opening my first new BJD in 8 years complete

 

I saw that a lot of your status had changed so checked mine and its also changed to before shipping!

 

I picked up my Juah today! She's a lot bigger than I was expecting, and pinker. I ordered her in rose pink, and I was expecting pink, but not quite this pink. Lol. It's going to take a little getting used to.

 

My status changed, I'm sooo excited!! They are combining my orders so her body is "shipping completed" and her head is "preshipment".

Can you post pictures? I would love to see the pink color

 

Two with flash, and one without. She's next to a 2020 MNF body for comparison. She's definitely a gorgeous body and sculpt, but I didn't realize her measurements were so much bigger than my other SD girl, so the shoes I bought don't fit and she's wearing clothes that looked oversized on my DoD girl. XD

 

I ordered a Juah on the ballerina body on the 3rd of April. She is so pretty. The order is still label "Money transfer received".

 

My Rosy was ordered the beginning of April and I got my shipping notice on 26th June so hopefully you will get yours soon

 

Oh wow she's super pink! It's very floral and delicate. Very pretty!

Here is my contribution. I ordered the body only which I have hybridized with my Raccoon Doll Gene head. It took 117 calendar days from order to arrival for me. This is with no supports.
