Supia (MiniSup) Mini Discussion Part 1

Wow, gorgeous pics, everyone! And yay, the reference thread is getting bigger and more helpful by the minute!

Supia just released some pictures of a new body on Flickr. I am unsure if it is the minisups, but I think so. I was never any good at recognizing faces without faceup.

The changes seems to be double-jointed arms plus legs, new placement of the torso joint, plus a new hip joint.

Hi every one, dropping in for a question, but what kind of resin are Supia dolls cast in now? I was looking at the older shots, and it looks french, but I don't see a lot of these dolls around, so I thought I'd ask here.

I like Yisol and Yan both, but I can't have a french resin doll. The poor thing will yellow so fast in my sunny and warm house!

 

I believe that they are only cast in urethane resin now. I think someone asked about resin choices on the QandA part of Yisol's sales page.

They're definitely urethane now, don't worry ^__^ It does look a bit different from that of Luts or Souldoll, for example, kind of... softer to the touch, maybe? And possibly slightly more transparent - anyway, very delicate and natural-looking.

I am new member of DOA from Bangkok, Thailand. I accidentally got Yisol from the recommendation of my friend. After trying to find her so long time. It is hard to find Supiadolls in Thailand especially Minisup! She is so lovely by her oriental look and she makes me extremly crazy.hehehe!

Hi everyone, I have two new Minisups to share. First of all, i FINALLY received my french resin yan I bought from the marketplace 4 weeks ago. Here she is (excuse the flash photography);



She is my first french resin doll and at first I was shocked at how yellow she was compared to my other dolls, but I've gotten used to it now and she's just so beautiful, I'm really happy with her

I also adopted a Yisol. She has a custom faceup by Momizii:



Her faceup is a lot darker than my other dolls, but I really love her for how different she is

 

I've really fallen for Minisup body, it's so detailed! My unoa fp needs a body. Does anyone here have both normal urethane (beige, I think) minisup and an unoa to make some comparison of the resins? I can try to blush the fp to match if it's lighter but not the other way around.

 

Shara - Sure thing! Here's my urethane beige Yisol with my Lusis, they're both about the same age (1 year old). Their proportions are quite similiar so I think that it might look very good with a Unoa FP on the Supia body. There's a slight difference in color, Supia is creamy beige while the Unoa is more a yellowish beige. I also find the Supia resin more matte, Unoa's is somehow a bit transparent and shiny. (But the difference is slight, I'm just being nitpicky ;D)

Unfortunately no idea, idalupi. Last year they opened in February, but I'd suggest just visiting their page once in 2-3 weeks ^_^;

I have a question for you all, and i hope i am posting it in the right place.
If any of you own a Narae, as well as your Yan/Yisol, can you please tell me if there are any Supia resin colours that match any Narae colours?

Looks like the little girls would be released again in October. ^^ I love to see them again. I hope there's something new that Supimam will offer us this time... XD

 

Hopefully that's the case, because in their announcement earlier this year they said they would sell them in March... and well...yeah, no March release.

I think I'm going to hold out a little longer for a tan release. The tan on Rosy looked beautiful and it would be amazing to see it on the minis.

 

I guess they're now up for sale for indefinite time (not limited time). ^^ So you can buy them anytime you want to, just like the Larger Supia... ^^

 

anyone knows how is souldoll normal resin compare to supia normal resin?

I was actually planning on buying Yisol after I found a tanned Rosy. But now this girl is just so precious! Plus, that new Grumpy boy is also calling my name.... Soon my Supia dolls are going to overtake everything

 

I think the layaway option comes up when you purchase as I do remember seeing it. You might post on their board and ask but I am sure I saw that opeiton when I went to pay. Hope that helps..

 

Ah..just went to supia..as I am trying to find the doll you are speaking of and I am having no luck?? Where to heck are you getting this info?

Also, here is what Supia says about layaway:
Layaway is possible.
We made 3 month period.

1.make order > 2.choose option(layaway) > 3.we'll give you an invoice(for first payment) by e-mial > 4.start paymnet

and after,you can pay 1/2 for each 2 month on rest amount.

Dolls' will be shiped to you when the layaway payment is complete.

I'm holding out for tan myself! I'd love to have both Yan and Yisol and while I think the new girl is cute, she's not for me. Fingers crossed to see some tan from Supia soon! I've had to update my wishlist three times in the past week thanks to wanting these two, an Emma, a Joshua, and a Nael boy! I think Nael and Joshua would make the cutest set of brothers... come to think of it, this new girl looks a little like Nael...

I bought my Hayul a few days ago and I can´t wait for her to arrive. She will be named Joline and
she is a mermaid. (Now living on land) I´m so excited that Supia has started making more Minisups!

 

Me too! I love the body sculpt. I just ordered Yisol with smoky face up. Supia stated the face up will look like Hael's. I requested a little more tint of color in lips. I like that it isn't too dark.

That is a beautiful face up Oliveoil, I can't wait to see your Yisol with it! I've been in love with Yisol for the longest time now and am really tempted to put her on layaway, especially now that Supia will offer a light tan next year!

I think we'll have to wait for an official announcement for the new tan skin, then we'll know which dolls will be offered in tan. Hopefully all of them!

 

Yeah, I ask them and they said that they are going to start supia sales in lighter tan color than normal in Jan or Feb
